This place is ran by or has a volunteer that is an awful lady named Sharon who is obviously a miserable person. She purposely tries to make you feel as bad as she probably does every night she goes home. I would only recommend people adopting from them to get any animal in there care away from this lady. I seen other reviews from people who have obviously dealt with this awful person as well and it’s really a shame. (Side Note) she contacted my home at 6 in the morning to make my wife feel bad about a dog we could no longer care for only to then try and play a victim after I responded to her careless unprofessionalism. If you wanna adopt a dog then find somewhere else or ask to not deal with this lady.

I adopted a lab mix from Pawsafe in May 2021. The process was super easy and the staff were very helpful. I love my dog so much and applaud PawSafe for the work they do to find every dog a good home.

Kind of an awkward experience adopting a dog from here, unless you see a dog on their petfinder you’d like to try and adopt I wouldn’t recommend them. You have to sign up for a time slot, which is fine, but you only get 20 minutes before you’re rushed out. We came wanting to meet the puppies they had and find the best fit for us, but only got to meet 3 that were brought to us while awkwardly confined in an empty kennel.

Me and my family adopted my beautiful puppy on April 10 2021 and she's been so great! The kennels were very small and cramped to see them individually though..

We adopted our baby Lucas back in march of this year , not only did we get a wonderful new family member, but the experience of our adoption was wonderful, no outrageous demands that so many adoption agencies require so sad in doing so they are only denying a potential wonderful forever home .

After making an appointment and not matching with an animal, the $25 booking charge still hasn’t been refunded over a month later. When trying to get into contact with PawSafe, I emailed through the website. Diane responded and was completely hostile, so we didn’t go to an appointment because we don’t support business that treat patrons poorly and I received a text message from Sharon who then proceeded to call me “immature” as well as “unfair and disrespectful” because I didn’t want to keep an appointment at a place that treats people as they are. The animals may be cute but the team of volunteers they have responding to people need to learn how to speak to people who are willing to pay hundreds of dollars to add a member to their family. Shame of the volunteers and shame on the business for allowing them to speak to people as they are. EDIT AFTER PAWSAFES RESPONSE I asked for a phone number to complain about the two volunteers that contacted me, and have been ignored but got a response to my google review, I did in fact say that I apologize to the volunteer we “stood up” so don’t accuse me of not, HOWEVER I will not do business with a place that allows volunteers to speak to people like garbage. And none of your volunteers apologized for the way they spoke to me. If the volunteer that was supposed to help us find a potential adoption had reached out to me I would’ve gladly apologized and explained the situation but instead a rude woman decided to respond to my google review instead of giving me the phone number to simply complain about how the volunteers conduct themselves to potential customers. This place is absolutely crazy. And I don’t believe that volunteers stop showing up because of patrons, I believe they stop showing up because of the way their co-volunteers conduct themselves to potential customers. Wrap this up anyway you want- Sharon was rude to me first after I apologized for standing up the volunteer and was never given an apology-talk about a lack of professionalism. I can account for what I’ve done wrong, this place on the other hand thinks they’re the best place on the planet. Get a pet elsewhere- it isn’t worth dealing with rude people. The appointment was also booked BEFORE the rude email exchange, I wouldn't not show up to the appointment without a reason. Sharon also completely skated over when I called her out for how rude she was speaking to me, and never once apologized- I DID however apology for not showing up because Emily (the volunteer who was supposed to help me) did take time away. I can gladly include that screenshot and the interaction I had with Sharon, I hope no one has an experience like I did. I said "You can let Emily know that I apologize but I will not support a business that treats potential customers the way that you are."

Amazing place and amazing volunteers! I completed an application and was approved to meet my pup that day. When I got there, Thumper, the dog I was scheduled to see was CRAZY and I was nervous about taking her home. One of the volunteers helped me calm the pup down and helped me talk through the responsibility of a dog with this much energy. He also reminded me she was in a very stressful situation. He held her like a baby to calm her down so we could get aquatinted. He showed me a few dogs with different energy levels to make sure I was comfortable with my choice. With his support and guidance, I decided to take Thumper (now Cheddar) home! She is the sweetest girl ever! Without the kind volunteer I worry I wouldn’t have had the courage to give her a chance. Everyone is so willing to help and wants what is best for you and the pups!

Best rescue place for sure! I was on a waiting list for purebred dogs, and I decided that rescuing was the best . My rescue fits my personality and I truly feel like my dog was a one in a million. This place trys their absolute best to get every dog adopted. They constantly have new dogs coming in! They are so amazing and when I go to adopt another dog in the future, I will be sure to come here! #adoptdontshop

We just brought home our 6month old lab mix and could not be happier! I will admit that we initially got discouraged with the adoption process during Covid - appointments booked up so fast! We committed to a couple of days of being diligent (aka stalking the website with mere minutes between refreshes on the available pets page throughout the day) and before we knew it, we had an appointment! The facility was nice - it appeared to be a section of a boarding facility dedicated specifically to PawSafe. The volunteers were welcoming and friendly, and as informative as possible considering the limited information many rescues come in with. The woman who fostered our pup was present and provided a helpful background on both him and his brother. Once our decision was made, the process was very efficient. We were provided with full medical history, rabies vacc collar tags, and info on a reputable pet insurance company. Our pup seems to be adjusting impressively well already and I can’t imagine he was in anything but the best care while with PawSafe. Highly recommended - and again, don’t be discouraged by the appointment process! Just pay as much attention to the site as you would a new, mischievous little puppy and you will be booked in no time ;)

The nicest staff & volunteers you will ever meet. We brought home our new puppy this evening. You can tell they really care about all of the animals in their care. If I'm ever in the market for another puppy, I'm definitely checking with them first.

We had a great experience at Pawsafe. We brought home our 1.5 year old pup yesterday. She is perfect! The facility was clean and maintained all COVID19 safety precautions. The dogs were kept in large clean runs. The entire process was so organized and punctual. The staff/volunteers were knowledgeable, friendly, and super responsive via email even after the adoption! Would definitely recommend rescuing from Pawsafe!
