Exceptional professional emergency weekend service for our senior dog after some local vet surgery. Worth the 1.5 hour drive to be reassured and receive appropriate care. Clearly explained our options. Reasonable cost to stabilize his situation until local vet could see him. Highly recommend this clinic.

Incredible service from a company that cares about helping animals. I am not a regular client but they were willing to see me on very short notice to help my pet when no other veterinarians near my home were available or willing to take new clients. They even followed up to confirm my dog was responding well to his treatment and made follow up recommendations of how to follow up with his full time vet. Thanks to the team!

The Eagleson Team is so polite and helpful. Doctor Ammar is very patient and listens to you with focus when you describe a problem regarding your pet. I was also very touched when the hospital sent me an email asking me how my pet is doing 2 days after her visit to Dr. Ammar. This is a very good and reliable vet hospital. Would recommend to everyone.

I can say this has been an incredible positive experience. The 911 emergency for my cat was not debatable for you, as for other clinics it wasn't important and didn't care to take the time, yet it was life threatening. Your staff has been excellent! communication, updates, feedback just perfect. Just enough to stay confident and positive. I have rarely seen such great service and care while being able to connect with the owner's feelings and pain, and providing great care for my cat going through surgery. Lets not forget the follow ups you want after surgery from me to ensure all is well. I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for my precious baby girl! Thank you

I am so appreciative of this clinic. They saw my boy, Caesar, on short notice when I couldn't find another place in the city due to COVID (so many places are minimizing hrs or not taking new patients because of it!). We're new to the city, he is 18 & I was so worried that he had what could be a life threatening issue (potential blockage). They were swift, had him assessed quickly & treatment even quicker. They offered to do some bloodwork, since we just moved & hadn't seen our old vet in a minute due to COVID & alerted me to some numbers that could cause him issues, so we could get ahead of the problem. This is so critical so that you can avoid costly trips to the vet in future! He's now home resting & this cat mom can rest easy knowing that there are great vets out there willing to help! Price was about what I'd expect for a vet trip, but the service & the care provided was more than worth the $$. All the staff I spoke with were so nice, even dealing with this stress mess cat mom!

The Eagleson Veterinary Team is truly incredible. Their dedication to the well being of animals is inspiring and we are so grateful to be in partnership with them. We know the felines under our guardianship are in good hands with them.

The only good thing about this place is the hours open. Took my dog there who had a UTI. The vet insisted on doing a parvo test even though she exhibited not a single sign of parvo. No fever, her stomach wasnt hard or distended. She kept trying to pee every few minutes, crouching and trying to go outside, she was still playing, eating, all . He said it was practically impossible that at 10 weeks she would have a UTI. So we let him do the parvo test first. Lo and behold it came out negative. He also gave us a 20 day round of antibiotics for her. We called our regular vet the next day who told us that for her age and weight 7 days should be fine. All of this just felt like a money grab. He could have started by doing a urinalysis first and if that came out negative he could have done a parvo test but instead he chose to the parvo test first despite the fact that we said we felt better checking for a UTI first. Never going back would never recommend this place.

My cat was having a urinary issue and needed to be seen asap. Eagleson Veterinary Clinic was able to see me the day I called and treat the issue. They gave me all of the options available and didn't pressure me to do any unnecessary testing. They were polite, personable and professional. I was very happy with my experience. My cats had their vaccines and about 2 weeks later they were still not doing well. They were limping and losing weight, lethargic and just not themselves. I brought them in and opted to do blood work on the cat that was doing worse. Everything was normal, so I opted to do an ultrasound as well. They went ahead and did an xray without asking me. They chose to charge me for the xrays but not the ultrasound. I wish that I had been given the option to do an xray or not, because after the ultrasound I consented to was normal, I wouldn't have done the xrays. I let it go because I just wanted to get home but I recommend ensuring that you are very clear with them about what is being done and what you will allow. *The clinic manager called me to discuss this, and it turned out that they didn't charge me for the ultrasound because it was much more expensive, and went ahead with the xrays when the ultrasound was inconclusive*. We're very happy with our experiences at this clinic and would highly recommend them.

Highly recommend going to the Eagleson Veterinary Clinic! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. I called in the morning, they answered the phone in a timely manner and I got in right away. My cat was well cared for and healed quickly! I will definitely only go to this clinic from now on. This has to be the best vet clinic in Ottawa! Have been with them since opening and they never fail to provide excellent and quality service at a reasonable price. My fur baby is treated like family and they have gone over and above to take in every emergency at the drop of the dime! The receptionists are always accommodating and friendly. We aren’t patients of Eagleson Vet Clinic, but I called to see if they could fit us in same day. They couldn’t (though said to try back the next day first thing in the morning), but I was super impressed with Holly, who answered the phone. Even though we weren’t patients, she took the time to listen, she expressed genuine concern, she asked questions, and she gave me suggestions that would help make my pup comfortable in the meantime. I wish everyone who interacts with the public at a vet’s office was this patient and caring. It’s a good indication that this vet office cares about pets.

We are new pet owners and Eagleson Veterinary Clinic has been there from the very start. From food recommendations to vaccines and to regular health checks to urgent care, they have always taken their time to explain what is happening and our options. The best is that they respond to emails quickly and provide the next course of action whether it is to come in for a visit or try something new at home. Simply the best care possible 365 days a year!

I had called every emergency vet in the city and all of them had the same response, to full and I'd be waiting for at least 12 hours or more. Then I called the Eagleson vet and they made me an appointment right away. When my son and I got there we followed there protocol and were greeted immediately by the staff and taken in. Everyone who had a hand in looking at our Cookie (that's our cat) were very professional and very friendly and polite which made the atmosphere and the issue we were having extremely comfortable and easier to deal with. And the Veterinarian himself was extremely knowledgeable, comforting, friendly and polite. I recommend this clinic with every ounce of my heart. And I live over 45 minutes away from them and wouldn't hesitate a second going back. Thanks again to the staff and vets at Eagleson Veterinary Clinic and a very happy Merry Christmas ???? and a wonderful New Year ????.

The way they treat clients is un polite Specific the technicians on the phone that are not respecting and their tonage is very rude. They have good medical care but also very expensive and charge you a lot . For example, they made me to sign a paper before small operation that if my pet needs CPR , I let them do it, which is understandable but asking for extra price for that CPR beside the fee of operation.This is is not acceptable for me but I had to sign otherwise no operation for mye pet. I have never had to sign this type of consent before in other vetenery. Extra charge in the case of need for CPR? Even if the pet is died.I think they want to cut more money for their services. The stiches were also lose after 10 days and the wound got opened. I don't want come back again

I called for an emergency for my 10 year old dog and they gave me an appointment the same day. Dr Pullman was amazing, super caring towards my dog. Thank you for all the help and care! I couldn’t recommend enough this clinic. The staff was also amazing and attentive!

This is the best veterinary clinic! Everyone is genuine and cares for the animals and provides a level of service and care which I have never seen before from a veterinary clinic. When we bring our cats in, I know and trust they are getting the best care possible.

Great, friendly staff and very professional. Considering it was an emergency I do not feel that they pressured us into unnecessary expenses and that the fees changed were reasonable and they were very upfront with pricing. I also felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with them. He seemed very happy when we got him back and was in great spirits. Thank you all !

I brought an older pet here for weekend emergency care recently. After spending $775 for that visit, which included 5 different meds we had to buy, one of which was an appetizer stimulant, we were given an estimate of $2500 for dental work. The animal had stopped eating so it was “assumed” the issue was dental related. I want to keep my pet and get her well, and will spend $ to do so, but $3500+? Come on! So we found another vet that would see her, the initial visit for that vet was $180, and that included $25 for a rabies vaccine. Their estimate for dental was 1/3 the cost of Eagleson. After more blood work by the second clinic it’s been diagnosed as a thyroid issue, missed by Eagleson clinic. We have meds to combat that now, however the animal is still not eating so we need more appetizer stimulant to get her eating while the thyroid medication starts working. The second clinic could not get the appetizer stimulant in liquid form (back ordered) so they suggested we call Eagleson to see if they have any that we could get, pills are very stressful to giver her. So I phoned Eagleson, got a lady on the call. Her response to my request to purchase the liquid stimulant was “we’ll need to see the animal again for a consultation before selling to you”. SERIOUSLY? So you want to bill me another $700? My response was “the animal is now in the care of another vet so we just need the stimulant to get her eating”. Sorry, need to come spend more money here first. My response was “so you don’t care about the animal as much as you claim”, she hung up on me. Hence me indicating what I do not like about this place, poor value and poor professionalism. You don’t care about the animal, just about getting more money from us. Never set foot in here again.

All the staff was very polite. My issue is that a month after I had my visit, I got a call from the clinic telling me that my cat had cancer, naming both her and I by name. I started having a panic attack as I wasn’t even informed that they were testing a lump. And only to find out that they had mixed up my contact information with another dog AND MY CAT WAS PERFECTLY FINE. It was very unprofessional and shows a lack of organization. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this place unfortunately. Again, very polite, nice nurses, receptionists and veterinarian but I don’t think it’s something I can overlook.

This is the best vet clinic ever! When literally no other clinics in town would see my puppy in a reasonable timeframe, this clinic would always find a way to see us. I live in Orleans and I'd rather drive all the way to Kanata than deal with any other clinics who don't seem to care as much for the dogs. The Eagleson Vet Clinic staffs are wonderful, in person and on the phone. They always take the time to explain things to me and give me tips. It is even better service than human clinics! I would recommend this clinic to any other pet owners. They are absolutely wonderful!

Dr. G save my dog! We was given the wrong meds for over 4yrs when I finally decided to get a second opinion. Dr. G put my dog on the right meds and he was able to live 4 more years. I have my cats and now 2 new puppies at this vet clinic and they are amazing. Never been disappointed. The staff is caring and very accommodating.

I was very worried about my cat, Eagleson Veterinarian Clinic was recommended. They were excellent,friendly,professional and very understanding. They were great with my kitty. Figured out what he needed and a reasonable price. I appreciated there service .

Overlooked huge concerns we had about the health of our family Pomeranian, and wrongly diagnosed them. He passed away 24 hours later due to the misdiagnosis and didn't get the care he needed.
