Being a medical professional myself and a client of this practice I called them after my cat began having the exact same UTI symptoms as over a year ago. I called looking for a refill of the antibiotic that was used. The staff stated that my cat needed to be assessed before they could do that. When explained that I am a MD myself and that I have recognized the exact same thing is occurring with my animal the staff stated that their policy was that the animal needed to be assessed. When asked for an apt time, the staff said the nearest avail apt time is 4 days from now. I explained to her that during our first visit, no urine dip was done, no X-ray was done etc as I wanted to try the cheaper solution of just antibiotics first. The staff refused and stated my animal would have to remain sick until I can bring her in refuse the X-ray and urine assessments and leave with the antibiotics. They are just looking for charging the extra $$$ for assessment

This place should be shutdown for malpractice. No wonder the BBB doesn't approve of them.

We get our medicated cat food here. Staff is usually friendly and gets our order within the time they estimate.

I am a ancient client of Bank. I have a lot of pets and I have experienced serval hospitals in town. I would not say Bank Street Animal hospital is the best veterinarian, but it definitely on the top list. Nurses are super responsible and warm. They welcome you with their charming smile and greeting for every visit. Doctors are extremely professional and experienced. They give my pets proper treatments and professional suggestions all the time. You deserve five stars! I will stay with you!

Every person here cares for your pet, and is willing to go above and beyond to give them the best quality of care possible, as quickly as possible. Would recommend to everyone.

First appointment, first shots for my new kitten. Very friendly staff and vet. Covid protocols in place so waited in my car and the vet called to give an update and book the booster appointment.

I brought my baby cat in for a check up because he was not feeling well, the vet there did a check up and sold me a whole bunch of medication. He said to start administrating the medicine tomorrow and he will be fine. The next morning I woke up, and my baby past away overnight. Simply heartbroken and lost, I would not recommend bringing your loved one here, as they were not able to see the severity of the situation. I wish I could go back in time and take him to a real hospital but now all is lost :( Please don't make the same mistake I did in trusting these people, I really thought they cared and did a thorough check up.

Unfortunately I have to edit my previous review. I had a great experience with the Bank Street Animal Hospital at my first visit, but after that things got really bad. They made mistake after mistake. A non comprehensive list : They gave my dog who has a medical condition that limits the amount of vaccines she's allowed to be given at once, a vaccine without my consent. I could not intervene because people are not allowed inside the clinic as a COVID precaution. Then they messed up the vaccination certificate that I explicitly told them, was needed for international travel and when I noticed their mistakes and asked them to fix it, they expected me to pay for it. Just for them to fix it, not for an additional service they had not charged before. When I went to receive the needed travel documents, I had everything prefilled, they "corrected" the vaccine validity date on the papers, only to have CFIA correct it back to the dates I had written into the papers. And last but not least did they let my cat with a terrible eye infection wait for several days to be seen, because they did not have appointments for their own customers. They suggested we try different clinics. I will gladly do so, and I will never return.

Poor manners on the assistants side, prices increase on medications frequently and I'm often waiting more than 30 minutes after my appointment.

Sad and disappointed in the way services are provided to clients , lately. Assistants show lack of interest in a job well done , and caring for the life of the clients' pets. It used to be such a well cared for environment. As I said I'm deeply disappointed. Thank you but not thank you for your business

My mom had to put her senior dog down today. They handled it with such care and professionalism and compassion. Ty so much for everything. Kc was very very loved. Dr. Lanre Odusote is an amazing vet and this is definitely his calling. He is meant to be a vet

I feel like the priority is as a business -- making max *profit* per visit. I needed a 45 dollar cream, and the total bill was 250 dollars with the extra fees (i.e antibiotics. I asked why, the area being free from infection, and the vet backtracked and said it was not needed. Then.... ok?). Erring on the side of 'add it to the bill and see if the owner argues', which becomes and uncomfortable negotiation. Also, it was clearly *overbooked* the last two times I've been during Covid. Lots of waiting in the parking lot, line ups out the door with others who have made appointments for that time. Waiting to get in past the appointment time with a nervous/sick pet, then waiting again to receive my treated animal because they had so many people they got confused who owned who. Another indication of their money-making priority, it seemed. The animal care is fine, and vet trips are expensive, yes, but I don't feel respected.

Great service, nothing against the employees, but the vets don't care about your pet, just what's in your wallet

Called to book my dog for her annual vaccination was told my dog was listed under deceased..was told I could not be present for the exam. My dog returned to me petrified then was charged for vaccines she wasn't due for. It's never the same vet constant change in staff. Will not be returning.

My puppy's neuter was okay, but they left a needle in his leg! I removed it myself as I didn't want to return to a clinic that was 45 minutes late for pickup and had a chicken bone just outside the door (had to reach into the pup's mouth to remove it)

Although they were booked up for appointments on the weekend, Bank Street Animal Hospital squeezed in an exam of my senior cat and were able to diagnose a UTI on the spot. As a result we were able to start him on antibiotics on Saturday instead of waiting till Monday, and a faster recovery for him. We drove an hour in from the country for the appointment, and it was well worth it.

Took my cat for a check up and the cost of simple blood work was very expensive.Did not even receive a copy by email. Don't be fooled as I was.

Not only has Bank Street consistently had better prices than other vets, but all the staff here are wonderful. The doctors really care and take time to go over any concerns and are thorough.

I chose Bank Street Animal hospital as they were the only ones who would accommodate my appointment request during this pandemic as we took in an abandoned kitten. Got an appointment in good time and the visit was smooth and trouble free. Excellent friendly staff and my cat Simba was treated with care. Got home after the appointment and needed to ask a follow up question, gave them a call and they did everything to answer my question. So glad I found these guys as their service was excellent. 10/10.
