I typically am not the type to leave reviews all the time but let me tell you about this place. I arrived on a Monday afternoon very concerned as my furry baby had just choked on some of his food and had trouble breathing. Upon arrival in my state of mind I missed the signs that were on the parking spaces stating that they were helping via curbside. I rushed to the front desk and was helped by the most lovely person, Denise. She mentioned how they were doing curbside assistance however, she allowed me to explain the situation and my concern. Denise continued to ask me if my baby was friendly, later to take him in her arms and rush him to get the helped that he needed. While I was waiting she came back and mentioned that the vet was getting him checked; that meanwhile we could fill out paperwork. While my baby was getting helped I was told I could wait in the car and that Dr. Brida would call me. Once the results of his x-rays came back Dr. Brida called me and with a calm tone proceeded to tell me that my baby was fine. I am so so happy and thankful for this place and for the people that work here. Big thanks to Dani the radiologist who helped my baby as well! If I could give more than 5 stars I really would. One million percent I recommend this place.

Dr. Ottolini and Denise were kind an caring. The amount of care they give to not only pets but owners as well is admirable. A great place to go when you’re having an emergency the service can’t be matched. I thank them for their empathy in a moment when I really needed it.

From the moment that I called and spoke to Denise I felt at ease taking my puppy there. My puppy, Lucky, had been wobbly and not himself and as soon as we got there they went to work to find out what was wrong with him. Denise is so nice and comforting. Dr. Sabo and Dr. Brida were amazing and kept in contact the whole time he was there, explaining everything. Thank you so much!!

I called on Christmas Eve because my dog was coughing and sneezing relentlessly. I have covid and was scared I had passed it onto my dog. Denise was amazing. She took my call and was kind, compassionate and understanding of my situation. She and the doctor were willing to do whatever they could to see my dog under safe conditions for everyone. I’m so grateful for the kindness that I received on the phone. Thank you for your willingness to help. I couldn’t be more appreciative.

They were great when our kitty was in respiratory distress, having an asthma attack. From front desk to vet techs to vets, they were great and kept us updated on Clyde’s condition and gave us next steps.

Had the best experience in an emergency when our dog ate a plate of chocolate cookies over the holidays when our regular vet was closed. They were so quick and responsive and helpful. We are beyond lucky to have found them. Denise was remarkably helpful and compassionate. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Dr. Amy Brida, Denise, Dani, Lee and Nathalie were amazing! They treated my dog right away and made sure everything was ok with her. I appreciate the care they took and the fact that they follow up and stay in touch to make sure my dog is doing fine. I truly recommend MedVet and the staff whenever your pet has an emergency.

We needed to bring our pet chihuahua in to Medvet emergently and their responsiveness was quick and ready to take care of Chloe. Their staff of veterinarians and technicians are excellent and I always felt they were doing the best they could for her, covering all possibilities. They kept us informed, honored our wishes to continue to do the best they could for her and were patient with all of our questions, answering thoroughly. We never felt rushed. They were always compassionate. I highly recommend this hospital as they were able to give us more time with our Chloe, having been able to get her stable enough to come home to enjoy more precious time with us. We consider this a gift in itself and just in time for Christmas!

I had to bring my 18 yo cat, who sadly passed, to this vet on Saturday for an emergency. I worked with Dr. Miller and Denise, the receptionist. They were both amazing. If you need emergency care i would highly recommend this vet. They are excellent medically and very compassionate. Their facilities are also very clean, modern, and calming. I hope you never need an emergency vet, but if you do, this is an excellent choice. I also recommend calling ahead before coming in as an emergency so they are prepared.

They told me the price of a blood test for my pup, I paid for it up front, they went ahead with the test then proceeded to tell me AFTERWARDS that they “misquoted” me and that I would have to pay for the remaining balance. So outrageous. When they called me to collect the balance, I explained what happened and they said that that’s not what they see in the client “notes”. I said, clearly the person writing the note does not have the integrity to admit they made a mistake. Aside from the pricing error, the veterinarian was a complete b**** to me as I’m in the middle of going through a medical emergency with my pup.

Dr Ware is the most caring and compassionate vet I have met. He takes his time, listens and gives thorough answers. He gives us the feeling that he treats our fur baby like his own. We went to Dr Ware when our little Yorkie mix was diagnosed with a nasal tumor. It is terminal, but he provided radiation which reduced the tumor and 11 months later our little guy is happy, playful and spreading joy & love wherever he goes. I can’t thank Dr Ware and his team enough for the kindness and support they have consistently shown even almost 1 yr later, they have not wavered. I cannot recommend them enough.

We brought our dog in during an emergency after she had accidentally ingested poison and the staff were so professional and kind. The technicians Kayli and Lee acted fast along with Dr. Roche to begin immediate treatment. Denise at the desk was so comforting as my wife and I were obviously very distraught. In a short time they told us the good news that our dog was likely going to be ok and that we could take her home and bring her back for outpatient blood work to monitor her over the next several days. I’m so glad to know that I have such a high quality animal hospital near our home in case of future emergencies. I’m so thankful for the staff and that they were able to help our dog.

I came in today with my 1 year old German shepherd (female) she was not like herself she is usually very very hyper. she was experiencing a rapid heart rate and breathing very heavily. Beyond worried I got her to the only place that was open in town!!! Can I say that the staff was amazing the receptionist very friendly and welcoming! I’m a time of fear not knowing what was wrong with Azul, Dr.Kaelin was very informative and helped us pinpoint Azul’s cause of symptoms. Within 2 hours she was home with us and we couldn’t be anymore grateful for the staff! If I could I would give them 10 stars, once again thank you Dr.Kaelin, Denise and Ted. For helping Azul in what could’ve ended probably much worse. #forevergrateful

When our 12-year-old dachshund was discovered to have a mass cell tumor, our vet strongly recommended we have it removed and suggested to go to Dr. Baron at Medvet. Dr. Baron first did a thorough exam, including a CT scan to look for any signs that it might have spread. Then, within only a few days, we were able to schedule the surgery. The whole procedure went very smoothly and we received some thoughtful photos of our dog after she recovered (see below). She spent the night there and we picked her up the next afternoon. She was lively and alert and didn't seem to be in any pain. We greatly appreciated the time the doctor and her team took to walk us through the operation and then post-op care. They were incredibly caring, sensitive and wonderful in every way. And on a separate note, Dr Baron analyzed another issue with our dog -- Cushing's disease -- which explains her ferocious thirst and frequent urination. We''ll next take care of that.

My dog was recently treated here and I couldn't of been made felt happier and more comfortable, coming from a place where they immediately told me my only other option would be to put him down. They saved my baby and helped me find a way to do it!! Highly recommended bring your friends here if ever in an emergency. Denise was super nice helpful and had so much empathy for my situation and that's what I needed...

Amazing staff! I was very worried this morning about my dog and the staff answered the phone after the first ring, and asked me to come down with my dog. Michele and Jillian were so kind, reassuring and professional. They kept me calm and comfortable while Dr. Braly was taking great care of Stella. Couldn't thank this team enough!

Not impressed. So confused. Took my dog in for dark stool and he wasn’t really drinking water. History of pancreatitis. He saw dr. Brida. Initially she was nice on the phone. Told me she wasn’t concerned because my dogs labs were okay and his snap test was negative. She said he may have an ulceration in the upper GI tract so she wanted to prescribe meds. I told her I would take the one med but not going to give both since she’s not overly concerned. Her tone changed and she became a little condescending. I explained it to her when she came out to talk to me after treating Milo and she did apologize. The director of the practice then came out to talk to me. I said I wasn’t making a big deal about it. The director just seemed phony and not too sincere. The dr had said that she was sending him home with the one med. got home it wasn’t in the bag. Called up they out the director back on the phone and she said oh I thought you said you didn’t want either of the meds. Proved to me she wasn’t listening to what I was saying. Also the bill was 555 bucks for an exam, blood work, and fluids under skin. Crazy. They didn’t cut my dogs nails which is odd. Any vet or vet hospital I’ve taken him to his nails were always cut. I mentioned to director and she said they DIDNT HAVE NAIL CLIPPERS THERE. What????? I will never come back to this place. Ever.

Absolutely love this vet! The receptionist, doctor & vet Tech did such a wonderful job when I received the news that my cat Leo was diabetic; they were all very responsive, caring & helpful. They updated us with calls each day he had to stay over night, gave me a tutorial on how to place the insulin & gave samples of the things he may like. It was such a wonderful experience thanks to them!!

I was refered here by my Vet for Oncology. Although the outcome for my dog wasn't good the staff here is exceptional and the doctors thorough. I was able to make extremely informed decisions and they never once made me feel uncomfortable with my substantial amount of questions. I will always keep this place in mind and have referred other people as well.

When my 16yr old bichonpoo Cassie started having seizures, everyone recommended MedVet. Dr.Brida was amazing at explaining everything to us, giving us a lot of options and making sure we did the best thing for her health-wise and cost-wise. Dr.Brida noticed Cassie's kidneys were struggling, and referred us to the in-house internist, Dr.Willey. Over the past few weeks Cassie's kidneys got progressively worse, and towards the end it was hard to get in touch with Dr.Willey with questions and concerns. However, once we decided it was her time, I was very impressed with the services they provided. They took care of her cremation and even gave us a small clay tablet of her paw prints as a memorial. On the most painful day of my life, MedVet took care of us.

Terrible experience. Do not visit if u can avoid! We have an Aussie with cancer and apparently Aussies have a 50% chance of having an MDR gene which will change their cancer protocol. Not only change it but can kill ur dog or give it seizures. Not fun for ur pooch and very dangerous. Dr. Ho told me about the MDR gene but then said she was going to "follow normal chop protocol because the chances of my pup having the gene was very small". I almost followed this advice but then called my breeder and she told me NO! DO NOT DO THIS with Aussies and to call the vet back immediately and that my dog definitely had at least one "copy" of MDR as my breeder had paperwork. I called Medvet back and the response was alarming. They said they DID NOT need to test for MDR mutations and still going to follow normal chop protocol with full dose cancer treatment. I write this not to bash Dr. Ho but to save other dogs lives. I went with another vet and did the MDR gene mutation test and yes, my dog does have one MDR copy and the drugs Dr. Ho was going to put him on would have killed him. He is now on a completely different regiment pain free. He still has cancer and doesn't have a good prognosis but he isn't suffering. I felt like Dr. Ho didn't care because his prognosis wasn't great and her outlook was, well, he is gonna die anyway so who cares. Dr. Ho, I care how the last days of my dogs life are lived. He is going to the park every day, chasing chipmunks, giving us all love and eating steak and ahi tuna for dinner every night! Please don't subject your pet to Dr. Ho. She is in it for the money only.
