Don't waste your time with these people! They make you jump through hoops, and they ask millions of questions, make promises and if there's one minor thing that they find exception with, they deny your application, even after scheduling a meet and greet! It's a very arduous and emotionally consuming process run by neurotic nutters. UPDATE (TO THE OWNER!!: Firstly, it's absolutely APPALLING of you to insinuate that I'm not a good, "fit" for an animal, as I've had (rescued) animals for my entire life! Furthermore, it's HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, in addition to the fact that this response is about TWO YEARS too late! Nevertheless, I went with The Humane Society, where I found a beautiful chihuahua that is now best friends with my 11 year old adopted cat from the ASPCA!! You're a second rate establishment, ill-equipped with insanely sophomoric protocol and procedures, and you OBVIOUSLY don't know what you are doing. Otherwise, you would have had the common courtesy of keeping our scheduled meet and greet! Nevertheless, I've given BOUNDLESS love and care to at least a dozen rescues over the years (one of my cats lived for 23 years), and I certainly didn't need YOU then, and I don't need you now! JBL

I called and emailed to check the status of my application 1 week after I submitted my application and then was told, "someone will contact you", 2 weeks go by and only after I reached out again I was told the rescue had been adopted out. I understand these are Volunteers but they should really focus on streamlining the application process...put a cap on the number of application per dog. Would make much more sense! very disappointing in my experience. especially when children are involved.. These Animal rescues really make it hard to adopt, especially to those who are looking for a real companionship. It really just makes people want to just purchase, which is sad.

Professional organization and very thorough in screening adopter homes. An excellent group in placing deserving animals in homes.

I was looking for a lap dog for a while and was just about to give up when Nicole emailed me about Toby. I was able to adopt him. what a joy dealing with Waggy tail staff. You made adopting Toby so easy and wonderful, the foster families are just as wonderful so helpful.. In my book you guys get a 100% Star rating. Toby Thanks you for finding his Furever home with me. I adopted two dogs from the rescue. One was adopted in 2005, the other was in 2015. Holly was a great person who loves dogs and tries to hard to find a perfect home for dogs seriously. I am so happy to find the organization that really cares animal with love.

Put in a application for a dog I was super interested in and noticed that they wanted you in a 90 mile radius of the facility. I reached out to the email address and they advised me to put the address in New York and they would still review my application, because I was super interested in adopting another pup. I never heard back from the facility nor have they emailed me about the application. It’s been a month.

They are doing wonderful work helping to save and place dogs who need loving homes. I adopted a dog from them. A very positive experience. She is a wonderful dog. Thanks to Waggytail for finding her!
