Such thoughtful, sincere and professional people here. So glad I made the switch to this vet. My senior dog is starting to need more care and I feel comforted knowing she and I will have the attention and support we need.

I’ve never had a bad experience with them. They are all so helpful and understanding and they have so much patience with me and my dogs. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ratcliff and Dr.East!

My two dogs and I had a wonderful second visit with Dr. Ratcliff. She was warm, thorough and most importantly sweet with my little girls who are very anxious. I also didn't feel like she was trying to hard sell me on additional services but explained why would we should have some things done. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Radcliffe is very caring especially around a very skittish cat.

I absolutely adore the team at Riverside South. They're always so helpful and kind. All the nurses are incredibly lovely and were so great with our puppy. The first time we went there, our pup panicked and they managed to put him at great ease. After that whenever we head there, he's happy to go! Both Dr. East and Dr. Ratcliffe are wonderful. Definitely recommend their services! :)

We’ve only had one visit so far but everyone was very kind and welcoming. They listened to my dog’s limits and did their best to not stress her out. They were upfront about all costs and possible diagnoses. They also had the high value treats! Significantly pricier than other vet’s we’ve gone to (although still not the most expensive one in the city) but I’ve heard nothing but good reviews and I too had a good experience, so if you can afford it, definitely go visit them!

We love our vet visits. The dog, not so much. The staff are all helpful and friendly and genuinely care and know about our dog. Dr. East has been our dog's doctor for two years and she has always been amazing and patient with every visit while I ask a thousand questions.

Cannot thank Dr. Ratcliff and her staff for their treatment of my problem child. I traveled 2 hours to see her and was very anxious about how Louie would behave. It went so smoothly I could not have asked for more. Thank you!

I love this location so much! Everyone is so warm and very helpful. I trust them with everything. They always take amazing care of my dog and myself. The doctor takes the time to really listen, and made extra effort to make my anxious dog more comfortable. She talked to me about my options and I appreciate how transparent she was about costs so I had no surprise bill. I have visited for shots, wellness exams, trimmings, and tests. I really trust them and love my experience when I visit. So happy to have found them. Thank you so much!

When my cat was sick all night, I desperately called Riverside Animal Hospital first thing in the morning. I had just moved to the neighborhood and wasn’t yet a client but they were so nice on the phone and allowed me to bring my cat in to be seen that morning. From the hard working and compassionate team at the front desk to the caring and thorough vet (we worked with Dr. East!) who spent time to explain the plan for treatment and each cost, and followed up with updates on his progress, it has been a wonderful experience so far. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands. We’ll be back! Hopefully for preventive things :)

This location is mainly geared for animal adoption to prevent healthy, beautiful animals from having to be put down due to no home. I went on a Saturday afternoon, its too bad they're only a few volunteers. My dog was in pain had to be euthanized. They were helpful caring enough to console me. Although, I had to wait outside in car, volunteer walked to help us immediately. I believe they work mostly on donations to keep going. I have adopted one of their cats who was rescued, but had not been adopted because she was black & many people hold superstitions with them. If you're more into fancier animals, you'll find dogs and cats less than a year old and small & larger. Upon 24 to 48 hrs. Upon adoption your pet will be neutered/spayed and chipped. If you need basic vet care, you'll be recommended to a veterinarian who provides free service in collaboration with this location. Please not that if you must euthanize an animal, the process is free, but the crematory working with this location will charge you by your dogs weight, slightly expensive for me $ 300. If you must euthanize your pet, I don't recommend their cremation associates.

I have been bringing my cats to Riverside Animal Hospital South for many years. They always receive the best, most scientific and also compassionate care. Vets Dr. Georgia W. Ratcliff and Dr. Christina East are wonderful, dedicated professionals. The animal hospital is run very well by terrific, friendly staff, clients are treated very well.

Great vets and support staff. Readily able to answer any questions, including re treatments, bill details, etc.

As always, gentle, loving, accurate care from Dr. East for my cat, Braveheart. And at a reasonable price. Thank you, Riverside.

The care my dog gets at Riverside South is just phenomenal. They treat the patients as they would their own. I can’t recommend them enough.

Wonderful people, caring, nurturing and clear in communication on every aspect of your pet. There isn't a better place in the city to bring your pets for general checkup's or overall care. I have had many pets, several different species, and they've all been cared for over their lives by the people at RAH.

My first visit to Riverside for a behavioral consult. The office staff was helpful and Dr Ratcliff was lovely & responsive to my concerns. I'm looking forward to the day that vets return to meeting w/pet parents in person rather than curbside check-in.

It is so refreshing to find friendly professionals in NYC. Aside from the good care (that is obviously expected), the staff are super friendly, accommodating and overall seem to be nice humans.
