I wanted to bring my cat here to get fixed, I was told over the phone to register him online, I don’t understand why he couldn’t just be registered over the phone, their online site doesn’t work using a mobile browser and they refuse to help you find another way. That was just a red flag for me

Doctor's Kaplan priorities are: Money, your wallet and maybe your pet. Not our Vet anymore!

Great vet! Always clear and they treat our pets wonderfully. The only downside is they are busy so appointments aren't always convenient (probably because they are so great). I hope they get an additional vet's to accommodate demand

The level of empathy and professionalism are unmatched. I can't imagine taking my babies anywhere else.

Dr. Hurson is fantastic. Answers all your questions and explains all treatment options and how they work in detail. Techs have all been great. And front staff always friendly. Highly recommend.

Dr Hummel is simply amazing, she took very good care of my five month old Berniedoodle…he had very bad Parasite… all cleared up now and the Staff is very friendly and professional. My dog Champ thinks you and so do I…top notch place.

Great first visit with my pup. New to the area and they were very accommodating and responsive via email up to my appointment. Once there and checked in, wait was very short before I saw our vet. Would recommend!

I have to say I've had good experiences with City Vet Care and am chiming in after reading some of the reviews. I took my cat to two other vet clinics before finally settling on City Vet Care. The doctors are knowledgable and the staff seems to be great as well. My 10 year old cat came back from surgery and she seemed to be feeling great. I've had scares based on ultrasounds and so on with my cats that other vets didn't really know what to make but City Vet Care got to the bottom of it. In a fully remote vet world, with patients who can't speak, high pressures, and increased covid restrictions, it's tough to satisify pet owners (and we absolutely should tough to satisfy, we're the sole advocate for our animals) but City Vet Care has provided great care in my time working with them.

Dr. Kaplan is the best .. very thorough, studied — a wonderful diagnostician. The other doctors are also excellent and I feel trusting of the care my pets receive.

The customer service is not reliable at all. We have been put on a long (3 month) waiting list for a simple teeth cleaning and have been skipped over simply because we did not answer the phone the first time they called (even though we called back the next morning). We have also had to wait for an hour outside for them to bring our cats out even though it was our scheduled pick-up time. 2 stars because the doctor was very helpful, but it is not worth dealing with the front desk staff.

My cats have been taken care of by City Vet veterinarians for years. I trust them implicitly. They are kind, thorough, and always communicative. So happy I found them.

Edit: I had to call Dr Khan because my puppy’s diarrhea got worse, she told me she can prescribe anti diarrhea and told me to take my review down, if not I have to take her to another Vet!! I had no idea how to react but I was sure I would never go back to that vet!! Took my puppy there twice and came back with a new disease both times! She was totally fine and needed her shot the first time and the next morning she got worm. Second time I took her because we wanted to go for a trip and wanted to make sure she’s fine and doesn’t need new shots. Next morning she got eye infection followed by diarrhea and vomit!! She was perfectly fine!!! Honestly I don’t know what’s wrong but I think they don’t disinfect properly! So be careful if you take your pets there for visit.

Was able to drop my dog off, run to Trader Joe's, grab groceries and pick him up when I was finished. Easy peasy & super productive! ????

They take wonderful care of our cat! Very thorough in their evaluation and super communicative. Dr. Merinder takes lots of time to provide updates and answer questions and is very patient. It's easy to get an appointment the same week you request and they are always prompt.

Been a client with my cat's for decades. Now with our first dog, they're just as wonderful

I've been coming here for years and always had a high opinion of the people. We finally brought our dog in to be put to sleep today. She was over 18 years old and had a lot of issues. The doctor and staff were very humane and caring. They left us alone with our little girl and allowed us time to say goodbye, then allowed us to stroke her as she went under, so she knew she wasn't alone. It was very peaceful. The doctor and staff were very understanding. Thank you.

We really like and trust Dr. Romero. She's very thorough without ordering every test and x-ray under the sun, compassionate and patient. She's called us at home to check on things and really cares. Admittedly I get frustrated at times with the front desk and scheduling an appointment, hold times can be long and receptionists are trying to do five things at once when you at check in/check out. The nice thing is many services are offered during "tech hours" so you can drop in and get shots or ear cleanings etc.

Dr. Kaplan and Dr. Kahn are the best. They have been with us ever since we got our puppy and we couldn’t recommend them more. Our dog runs inside every time we go and doesn’t want to come out.

Even tho I live in the different neighborhood, I still take my puppy to this vet because of the staff and service they provide us with. It’s, perhaps, a bit pricey for this area but I prefer this place anyway.

My dog is saying "One star! It makes me nervous!" But I'm saying 5.

Not inexpensive but not crazy for a Manhattan vet either. And they are worth every penny! They are so thorough they found out what was wrong with my poor doggie even after 3 other Vets couldn't. They explain pricing and try to help you to save money if there is a less expensive option that will work. They care about the animals. They had extra safe COVID procedure animals only inside and they call you to go over any issues. They explained everything better than a real doctor explains things about my own health! Will certainly go back!

I hate this place, ugh. Charged astronomical prices, couldn’t afford the services to help my cat, asked us to take on care credit or other payment plan. Did the procedures anyway. Surrendered our cat to them, still have to pay for most services already rendered, no help for people with tight finances.

Wonderful place. From the receptionists to the various veterinarians who have seen and treated my cats, everyone is kind, attentive and offers first rate attention to all.
