We recently had a very scary experience with our dog during the weekend. While searching for emergency vets in the city I came across Dr. Lowenstein’s page. He had such amazing reviews, I decided to contact him and I have to say that was the best decision I could have possibly made. I am still blown away by how amazing and incredible Dr. Lowenstein is. I have never seen such professionalism, compassion, genuine concern, care, and commitment to care for a patient the way Dr. Lowenstein cared for my puppy. It was truly refreshing to have a veterinarian who was so concerned, patient and willing to take the time to listen and explore ways to make him better without rushing or being dismissive of my concerns. He truly went above and beyond before he even arrived at my apartment, the actual visit was excellent, and the follow up was so thorough. I have never had such a thorough follow up with any healthcare professional the way Dr. Lowenstein followed up on my dog and not just that, he didn’t just dismiss us, he continued to check up on my puppy until we found a treatment that worked. I have only incredible things to say about this veterinarian. I recommend him to everyone, I’m so grateful for him!!!

Like every other review, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The care,passion and attention to every detail, its priceless! Thanks you for being there through every step of the way with all you concerns and recommendations. Dr. Lowenstein truly does go Above and Beyond and for that I commend you. Thanks for caring for my pet as if she were yours! My biggest worry was my budget and he helped find the best possible solutions. A great Vet and a wonderful Human!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have Dr. Lowenstein as our veterinarian. He has been the most gracious, compassionate and thorough doctor I have ever experienced in my 14 years of being a dog mom. Our senior lab loves him so much and I can tell Dr. Lowenstein reciprocates the affection right back at him! I called Dr. Lowenstein after not seeing him for about seven years (moved out of New York City) for a minor emergency with DJ and not only did Dr. Lowenstein remember, but he came on the same day which I know was an absolute squeeze for his schedule.
