As new pet owners we needed a veterinarian that would help us last minute within the first 24 hours of having our new puppy. Brilliant Vet went above and beyond to help us and our fears and concerns as new pet owners. They are always fast, reliable, and helpful no matter the issue. We are so grateful to have them on our side!

Brilliant Veterinary Care is such a great vet I am glad I found them I had the pleasure to meet with Dr.Bayazit and she was amazing I appreciate their honesty and they are very clear with you. Customer service is great aswell thank you guys so much !

This is a great veterinary team.. they are available on weekends and Dr.Duperval has a great ‘bedside’ manner and is clearly skilled with handling aging animals in pain. She also takes the time to follow up on her patients. I am impressed.

The Dr. was very professional and you can speak with her very easily. I loved my experience there.

Brilliant Vet Care was so helpful! Our vet closed unexpectedly and they were able to get us appointments for all 4 of our animals within a few days for a last minute flight clearance. They worked with us smoothly and quickly to get records and accommodate our needs. They were thoughtful, comprehensive, and quick in working with us. Could not have asked for better care and a lovelier visit!

Brilliant Vet is amazing! I've been looking for a good vet that my 16 year old Maltese can visit since Ive moved to the city and I think this will be our new permanent vet! Everyone is very nice and friendly, they always have time for appointments, and it's the cheapest vet I've been to in NYC.

Excellent and highly professional service, very reasonable prices. My cat needed to be spayed, and I'm glad that I used this clinic's services. I got appointment fast and there was no waiting line. The entire staff is friendly, polite and competent. I checked other clinics on pricing and availability before making my decision, and I found this clinic the most affordable and easily accessible. I even was given a tour on premises and equipment, all very impressive and brand new. Thank you for helping us on a short notice and for qualified and efficient service!

Squeezed me in really fast (I'm talking 30 minutes) for a last minute appointment when I got home from work and found my dog was sick. Doctor and staff were very responsive and helpful and the office was clean/new. Definitely recommend.

This might sound like hyperbole, but this place honestly felt like a miracle to us! As we all know, affordability and quality don't often go hand in hand, but Brilliant Veterinary is definitely an exception. Everything about this place feels high-end yet they don't break the bank. The staff here seem to be in it for all the right reasons and really saved us, and mostly importantly, our cat. We needed emergency care for Pyometra, and simply couldn't afford all the options we could find. Brilliant came to the rescue, and did a brilliant job! Thank you thank you thank you!!

We just rescued a 2.5 old puppy as first time Dog parents. When I called Brilliant Vets to make her appointment Karen answered all of our (many) questions and was such a doll, they even took the time to look through her Medical Records before hand to help me make sense of it, which I appreciated. The space is beautiful, clean, and has a calm energy. Dr. Duperval was kind, informative, treated our puppy with love and care, and most importantly, made it a calm and positive experience for her. They are wonderful across the board. I’m thrilled to have our new pup in such good care!

We are thrilled to have a core of our old NYC veterinarian practice move physically closer to us! Brilliant Veterinarian Care is a wonderful new practice with seasoned professionals. The space is immaculate, inviting and modern - and our new puppy is under wonderful care when in NYC. We split our time between rural PA and NYC and the transfer of info and care has been seamless between the two - could not be happier!

What a refreshing and wonderful experience! This was our first time at Brilliant. I'm from out of town and needed our dog to be seen after a fall. They saw him the same day! I'm very happy with my visit to Brilliant Veterinary Care for my new rescue dog. The Doctor was very caring and gave my new dog a thorough check up and gave me lots of advice about my new dog. I am happy I found Brilliant!

This staff was the best! The woman at the front desk was lovely. At first we were a bit shocked about the price for all the tests and whatnot but she explained to us which ones were unnecessary and could be taken out which cut our bill down by more than half the original price! Not only that, but the cost of neutering was incredibly affordable as opposed to every other place in the city where it looked to cost upwards of $600!! I was overwhelmed by the helpfulness and professionalism that she displayed. The veterinarian that we worked with was so kind and extremely professional. We went in for a general check up before neutering and they were able to take our cat in for neutering that day which was completed unexpected and greatly appreciated. The facility was incredibly clean and very nice as well. All in all, I’d say we could not have had a better experience! This place truly is brilliant!

I took my little cat to her first visit at Brilliant Vets and I am so thrilled that I did. The atmosphere is like a calming spa for pets. My cat is always so stressed and anxious when going and Dr Bishop gave her time to adjust before examining her. When we left she was much less upset than she normally had been in the past. The staff here is friendly and helpful and they really care about you and your pet. I highly recommend taking your cat or dog here!

I did not have a great experience at Brilliant Vet. I took both of my dogs two months ago and have been thoughtfully considering what to write about my experience. I found the place to be very sterile as there were no pictures or treats in the exam room and the Vet did not spend much time building trust with either of my dogs. Naturally my dogs did not relax for the entire time we were there. The Vet insisted on weighing them using the table scale even though it was clear they were not comfortable with that and struggled to run away. We've always used the floor scale. I also had to use my own treats to distract my pups while they took the temperature and did the exam. Eventually they decided to take the dogs in the back while I waited up front since they were struggling so much in the exam room. The one good thing is they discuss costs upfront before doing anything (vaccine's, etc). Unfortunately I probably won't be returning.

Karen Heidgard and her team have always been loving advocates for rescue animals. They have assisted strays in need with many medical scenarios at their own expense. They are to be applauded for the life transformations they have done for many abandoned and neglected dogs and cats. I am very grateful to Karen and her team.

We recently adopted a rescue pup from Dallas, Texas and let me tell you, NYC is a scary place for this wee hound named Cello. The staff at BVC totally understand and have been incredibly patient and gentle working with him and thankfully took a good deal of time to listen to my concerns so that they could advise me on the best path forward including training and treatments for his anxiety. The name fits- the are truly brilliant in the care and concern they provide. How lucky I feel that they are part of our wonderful neighborhood!

I can attest to the fact that Karen is dedicated, compassionate, and in it for the animals. As you know, that is not always easy to find in the vet world. I wish there were more like her!! Highly recommend!

This was our first time at Brilliant Veterinary Care and they will definitely be our vet of choice for the future. The office was beautiful and sparkling clean. Dr. Bayazit and the staff were friendly, communicative, thorough and, most importantly, they were wonderful and kind to our dog Malley. He LOVED it and gives Brilliant Vets a big thumbs up!

Brilliant Vets is brilliant. My cat was treated with exceptional care and everything was explained to me in a clear, thoughtful way. I highly recommend this practice. It is worth noting that it is not owned by a corporation but privately owned. This is reflected in how they approach treatment. The individual care is apparent.

We're still in a pandemic and they have the nerve to charge $95 for a physical exam that took no longer than 5 minutes. Probably to pay for that new 10 year lease they signed. I don't see this establishment lasting longer than a few years before there's a FOR RENT sign out front. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews. Disgusting! Look elsewhere.

I don’t even know where to begin because I’m literally still in shock and processing so many emotions due to the way I was treated by the cold, unenthusiastic, and grumpy receptionist at this clinic, but here goes. I should add that it costs approximately $0 to greet customers with a warm smile and treat them with compassion, but I’ll digress. I brought my cat to this clinic by the recommendation of a non-profit organizer who set up the appointment. Dr. Bishop was kind, communicative and informed me that my cat had a bit of a heart murmur. After a short exam he took him to the back to collect samples for further testing. All seemed fine and well, visit was an average experience at best. The problem occurred when I called the office a couple days later to follow up about my cats test results. In her same unfriendly tone, the receptionist advises me that she cannot discuss the details of MY CAT with me and for me to contact the non-profit organizer for further information. I then asked to speak to a doctor and she claimed no one was available to help me. UM, EXCUSE ME, so because the non-profit paid for the visit that waives my rights to know about the health and well-being of my pet ?!? Hmm.. I don’t remember signing that form. Nonetheless, I didn’t have the time nor interest to argue with her so I told her how ridiculous that was before I promptly hung up on her. My takeaway from this business is unless you are the client handing over your credit card for payment you are second class, null and void of dignity and respect. I sincerely hope this was all a big misunderstanding and management reaches out to me, otherwise this will be my final review. In the meantime, my pet will not be returning. Such a shame because Dr. Bishop seemed really great ????

Having been with my previous vet for almost a decade, they were unable to help properly treat my dog and her chronic UTI, after about a year of visits and cultures and tests every two weeks they stopped responding to my calls and just never followed up. Dr. Duperval did an extremely thorough examine and discovered that the antibiotics I kept getting prescribed were now ineffective because the bacteria had become resistant. Since going we've received multiple check in calls and very happy with the care and attention.

Satisfied with the service and attention they provide. I was in the waiting area waiting for my pet while it was being taken care of. They provided the necessary Meds. that were needed and provided instructions. Very friendly environment. I recommend them to anyone that lives in the area. BVC, thank you for being here.

The team at Brilliant could not have been more helpful in my cat's primary care visit, dental assessment, diagnosis, and treatment by extractions, and after-care. The doctor and vet-techs walked me through her X-rays, blood work results, and medication management via multiple, quickly and conveniently scheduled, in-person visits, phone calls, texts, and emails. I am happy to report that after thirteen of her diseased teeth were removed, my cat's mouth is healed and she's back to her old self again - plus even MORE comfortable and affectionate. I will continue to take both my cats to BVC!

I feel very fortunate that a new vet care facility opened in my neighborhood that is not one in a chain owned by a equity firm/corp. It's women owned. I've gone to West Side and Animal General and I left both places b/c the service was …

I'm so happy with Brilliant Vet. Dr. Duperval took care of my puppy. She was kind and patiently answered all my questions. I'm a first-time dog owner so even before bringing my puppy home, I stopped by the office and had a lot of questions regarding visits, pet insurance, etc. and Karen answered all my questions. The facility is very nice and clean. I highly recommend BVC!
