This is a great place! I was ready to make this our new vet. However, they charge a $50 nurse visit and vaccines cost 30% more than any other vet in the UES, which will force us to find another place. I don't mind paying a little more for the vaccines but the additional nurse fee makes it too expensive. I need to give my dog a Lepto vaccine and cannot see myself pay over $100 for it.

This was my second time at Bond Vet. Both times I had a very positive experience. They made me feel welcomed; always checked in to see if my pet and I were okay,. The Receptionist was curtteous, and alerted me I'd be seen shortly, which I never waited long to be seen. Great Veterinary Clinic! ???????? Overall, I give them a 10.!

The vets, nurses, and check in staff were so kind and thorough. We were in and out quickly and my cats have never had better behavior at a checkup. Thankful they could see them so quickly and accommodate our two kitties

My experience at Bond Vet UES was wonderfully comforting and pleasant. I was able to book a same day appt for my pug who had her first eye infection. The reception area is well decorated, spacious and bright. I was warmly greeted and the check-in was easy. I didn’t have much wait to see the doctor and she as well as the nurse was very friendly and thoroughly explained everything to me and I didn’t feel rushed. What I appreciated most was them not trying to to convince me I need to run a million tests and/or try to sell me lots of additional medicines like some other vet offices in NYC I’ve gone to in the past. Everything was very straightforward and efficient. I highly recommend Bond Vet to all pet owners.

Special thanks to DR. BRYAN ANDERSON who took Excellent care of my precious feline who had a scary abcess. This is the type of veterinarian and practice that we need more of, concerned with getting the cat treated correctly, and the comfort of the animal, not looking for ridiculous upgrades and upcharges. I have always had a good experience at Bond Vet, and this time was no exception, both of my cats are patients at Bond. Other standouts from Bond Vet are Caitlin at the desk and DR. SHWETA KARANDIKAR. Highly recommend Bond Vet to all. Thank you! -Cv

I’ve brought my kitten Louie to Bond Vet at their Upper East Side location since I moved to NYC in the end of 2021. To be honest they are more expensive than other vets but you are really getting every dollars worth. They are so thoughtful to each and every one of the animals that comes and their owners. They go above and beyond to make sure your pet is extremely well taken care of and make sure they’re doing well after each visit. They have a lot of safety precautions which I highly appreciate because I assume we all have a connection to our animals and would never want anything bad to happen to them. The moral of the story is, if you can afford to go to Bond Vet, I highly recommend it.

Bond vet has always done a great job being thorough in explanations with me, and I have seen at least 3-4 of their vets in UPW and UES locations. My latest visit my dog was distressed with labored breathing and lots of throwing up. They did a quick exam and suggested the ER... even had one of their own go with me (in the cold) to help ensure I felt okay with transferring her there. Never thought such a thing would happen, wow! 100/10

This was our first time at Bond; recommended by a dog owner in our building. Everyone was so nice and the exam was thorough. We had to wait 20 min. (in the warm lobby) and due to the “inconvenience” they covered the requested nail trim. Every part of the visit was professional, caring, and amazing! This is our new vet for the long term! Please try Bond, you will not be disappointed. Woof!

I made an appointment late last night via the website. Got an appt today for 3. I was greeted at the door with a hello and confirming it was Lola. She went in and shortly afterwards I got a call from the Dr. we discussed Lola’s issue. She then examined her and called me again with a diagnosis and possible treatment. She was professional and thorough. Would definitely recommend! Highly!

All of the staff have very kind and welcoming since our first visit. We went back for that reason,l. We went in today for our last round of vaccines, however, and were charged 110 for an “exam” (weight check, basically!!!) on top of vaccines with inflated prices even for NYC. What kind of scam is this? A gorgeous, hip looking space does not make a 400 dollar visit for basic shots worth it. Absolutely avoid Bond Vet if you value your money.

The aesthetic of the place is extremely peaceful! Everyone is so nice and friendly, Bruno was thrilled and the amazing treats of course didn’t hurt. The wait wasn’t not bad at all and the whole process was quick and efficient within 10 min after the consult ended we had the medicine and we’re ready to go!

Highly recommend! My dog needed to see a vet on New Years day for an eye problem. I called a number of locations. Bond Vet set me up with an appointment at a convenient time. The technicians and the vet were helpful, friendly and professional. They answered my questions and were very good with the dog. The facility was clean and neat. They were very efficient with time - within 10 minutes of entering the building my guy was seen by the vet. They were able to do a quick test to diagnose the problem, dispensed the eye ointment on site, and I was done quickly. I felt the prices were reasonable - we've had dogs for over 20 years and lived in NJ as a price comparison. Given that it was a holiday I felt for sure I would be charged a huge fee - but that was not the case. I will definitely use Bond Vet moving forward.

WE WENT INSIDE!! YESSS! The staff is great. Talking to them about our baby boy and just socializing makes a world of a difference. We get answers before asking questions. Individualized attention is key. Pup loves going to see his medical friends. Maxx goes in excited and comes out happy. The consultation before and after the visit is a calming touch to our anxiety. Building a trust is key.

My 5-year-old chihuahua/Papillion’s eyes suddenly went cloudy in one day. My vet was closed, but I was able to get an appointment at Bond Vet UES. Dr. Thomasch was super caring and helpful. She did what she could but decided Toby should see an eye doctor right away. She called around to get him seen by an ophthalmologist that same say, on New Year’s Eve, when there were few options available. I so appreciated that. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

I was scared by the yelp reviews but tbh all the staff are kind and gentle women who were really supportive to me as a first time cat owner with a newly adopted pregnant stray ! 100$ Visit fee and 100$ for fiv/felv tests is def more than the inaccessible low cost places but if you have insurance its manageable. Vet even offered to help rehome my cats babies :)

Had a GREAT experience at Bond. Our dog Sophie's regular vet was closed so we took her in to be seen for an injury. The waiting area was bright and clean, with plenty of toys and treats to entertain Sophie. The vet was compassionate, friendly, and helpful, and made us feel like she was really listening to us. She took the time to answer our (many!) questions and address our concerns. We left with a diagnosis, medication, and goodie bag, and we received visit documentation, including an itemized receipt and thorough visit summary, via email. Overall a smooth experience that made us feel like our pup was in good hands!

It wasn’t what I Expected from Bond vet. I didn’t like how they treated me. It was like they didn’t even care about my dog. I believe it was because they didn’t want to be bothered. Mind you my partner and I spent a lot of money.

The staff is very friendly and we really like our vet Dr Thomasch. They go over the charges in detail with you and try to accommodate you with a nurse appointment if an actual Dr appointment is not necessary, in the case of vaccines (other than rabies). They are fairly prompt in replying to any online inquiry. Our Maggie really goes crazy for their treats as well. So far we are very pleased with our visits to Bond Vet.

Place is clean but it's run like a scam. They allow you to book an appointment for a vaccine that is already far above the standard price but then force you to do a 110 dollar 'exam' that consisted of a weight check and a visual inspection that didn't even include the mouth. In a city where Bordatella has to be administered every 6 months it's a pretty good- but disgusting- scam.

Great staff, very professional. Everything that could have been done to minimize the stress of my cat's experience was done, which I really appreciated. A little pricey, but worth it for the care we received.

Great first experience taking our dog to Bond Vet - UES. Vet and tech were both great and took excellent care of our dog. Would definitely take him back when needed!

We decided to give bond vet a try when our dog needed to get neutered. The initial visit for blood work went great, we were in and out of the vet within 30 minutes. However, got a call next day that my dogs glucose test results were inconclusive and most likely the sample was mishandled so we need to get a spot glucose test before the surgery. Surgery day went well, my dog recovered very fast. I checked the invoice and saw glucose test charge again. It was a relatively small fee but still felt unfair to us since it was lab’s fault the result was inconclusive. Next day we started to notice quite a bit of swelling and contacted Bond vet for advice. The nurse on the phone was helpful and asked to send pictures of the incision for the vet to look. We started to get worried the next day because the swelling didn’t go away with cooling and resting, so called Bond again. The nurse suggested we come in, so we booked an appointment. During the day it seemed like the situation improved so we decided to monitor our dog and stay home. We got a call that night from the vet who performed the surgery and she assured us this kind of swelling is normal. Over the weekend our dog started to leak pink fluid from the incision which progressed to continuous bleeding, and it looked like the incision reopened. We rushed to Bond vet to get some help, the vet said she reglued his incision and prescribed more anti-inflammatory drugs to deal with inflammation. However, this did not help, and our dog continued bleeding. Again, was emailing Bond back and forth, called and was advised that the vet needs to look again and try to stitch the incision back using different methods. Scheduled a visit again. It was a very busy day for them, so the wait was over 30 min since no exam rooms were available. Our dog was taken to the back to be looked at, stayed there for a few minutes and was back with us in the waiting room until exam room became available. The vet who helped us told there is no reason to try to close the open incision and it should be left this way to drain all fluid. She also prescribed antibiotics and more anti-inflammatory drugs. Our dog is still bleeding 7 days after his surgery. The service provided by Bond was confusing and frustrating because every time I talked to a different vet; I was suggested a different thing. I understand there is no standard procedure because every case is different, however, the last vet didn’t even know my dog was prescribed more drugs two days prior by another vet at the same clinic. Every visit was another $95 to be seen on top of $800 surgery. Bond Vet claims to be transparent with their pricing, however, all three times we were prescribed the same drug, pricing was different per pill and almost double (5 pills $50.22, 12 pills $77.73). It was already a stressful experience and Bond Vet didn’t make it easier.

I love that Bond Vet is open 7 days a week - it's great to be able to see your vet when you most need them versus having to go to a vet ER. Both vets I have seen have been incredibly professional and caring and I am very happy with the care that we have received!
