Look no further for your new go-to vet! With two young cats we have been spending a lot of quality time at the Hell’s Kitchen Bond Vet location. The office is clean, the staff are friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable, and who doesn’t love free treats!

Wonderful, personalized, warm care from all staff. They take time with us (parents) as well as the patient (pet). The aesthetic and feel of the clinic is cozy, cute and welcoming. Thank you for taking care of our little ones! My only qualm is that it seems a little expensive. Extra costs here and there, necessary appointments that seem not 100% necessary, etc. But they take good care of our babies so I do trust them, and the cost is worth that.

My experience at Bond Vet was a disappointment overall. I am sharing this anecdote to make others aware of these practices. I recently moved back to New York City, but before I moved, I took my 4 year old Rat Terrier / Chihuahua mix to my established vet who knows her very well. She was in perfect health except for some poor dentition and they recommended a dental cleaning and a few extractions once I was settled in NYC. She has had previous dental cleanings and extractions two years prior and this is relatively routine for her at this point despite brushing her teeth daily. "Small dog problems". I used Bond Vet's online scheduling tool to try and set up a Dental. They required me to have a 15 minute phone consultation with Dawn Golon to discuss my dog, her history, and my concerns. Dawn was lovely and knowledgeable overall. However, she did inform me of the necessary pre-operative consultation which was $110 and the necessary pre-op blood work which was $179. Total of $289 just for the pre-op eval and screening. She then quoted me that the dental package includes anesthesia, anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter with fluids, pain meds, scaling/polishing/deep cleaning of every tooth as well as full mouth radiographs. She informed me that the cost for the dental package starts at around $959 and does not include extractions or medications to go home. All of these costs are much much higher than I have ever paid previously, but I trusted in the process. I took my dog in her for consultation which went as expected: perfect health and perfect labs except for her dentition. They agreed that she would benefit from dental extractions, confirmed the quoted price, and then had me work with Dawn Golon again to help schedule it a few weeks after the pre-op exam. Ok fine, continue trusting in the expensive drawn out process. Finally comes to the day for the procedure, and approximately 1.5 hours after dropping her off for the dental procedure, I get a call from the Vet who has ONLY JUST NOW discovered an apparent heart murmur and that he will not proceed with the procedure based on this finding. I insisted that it was ok with me to proceed anyway, fully acknowledging and accepting any potential risk of morbidity and mortality (which I had already signed off on previously in the required forms). The veterinarian refused to proceed, and instead wanted to order a battery of expensive tests including chest x-rays and an echocardiogram for undisclosed sums of money. ON TOP of that, the vet began explaining that they had misquoted me on the dental procedure and that the overall cost would be even higher than originally quoted because of all of these new findings on her dental exam on the day of the procedure. I was blindsided and frustrated. When pressed on why this brand new heart murmur was not discovered at the required pre-operative exam and why I was misquoted despite the required pre-operative exam, they couldn't offer an explanation why and just acknowledged their error. Very frustrating experience that FEELS very sneaky to put me in that position that would have lead to higher unnecessary costs for a dental cleaning and extraction procedure. It honestly felt like they were knowingly taking advantage of me in that instance. At the end of the day, I refused to give them my continued business because of their poor execution on this drawn out process and apparently sneaky (or just very poorly organized) business practices. IMPORTANT: I requested a full refund for my pre-op exam, lab work, and the surgery deposit, and they did in fact return all funds in full. I gave them the chance to do the right thing, and they did the right thing. So kudos to them for at least returning my money to me after this long drawn out disappointing experience that only cost me quite a bit of time. I will be taking my dog elsewhere. If you choose Bond Vet, just be wary of the quickly escalating costs and disorganized business practices. Also don't be surprised when they try to start pressing you to spend more on potentially unnecessary tests.

We love Bond. We had to get our cat spayed ASAP. They were able to find the time right away and were super helpful and clear another everything. Explain the process and what it takes and all of the little details we didn’t even think of. Will definitely continue using them moving forward.

Yesterday I took my Yorkie to the vet for a vaccination (Lyme, Lepto, Bordetella) and he had an allergic reaction to the vaccines with itching, hives, abnormal breathing, insomnia and diarrhea, I could not sleep monitoring his condition. Apparently any reactions and expenses derived from the vaccines are my responsibility according to Bond Vet (I did not know this but apparently I signed accepting this). In addition to the $ 239 for the vaccines, I paid $ 193 more today to solve the problems caused by the vaccines, which also on the Internet and then the vet today recommend not giving the Lepto and Lyme vaccines at the same time. If you know that these vaccines together are not recommended, why do they do it?

The Bond Vet team were amazing, the doctor was thorough in her exam of my dog, Elfie, and gentle all at the same time. The nurses and all the staff were extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make mine and Elfie’s visit as pleasant and efficient as possible. I would wholeheartedly recommend them!! Thank you for taking such good care of Elfie ❤️

I live in the neighborhood of my HK Bond Vet branch, and I love them as my vet. I have two puppies and a kitten, and the majority (if not all) of the staff there knows them closely by now. They really took the time to make my pet babies feel good about going to the vet. Personally, as a dog parent, what I like the most is that Bond Vet is their modern, accommodating, extremely transparent (when it comes to billing) values. They don’t rush to overcharge. In fact, they even gave me things ‘on the house,’ sort to speak. Another thing that’s important to me is the feeling that the team there know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. It sounds trivial, but I’ve seen before vets where I felt I was sort of in the conversation more than they were. Anyway, if you’re in the area- I recommend Bond Vet.

First visit after moving into HK. Senior dog that is slowing down needed a bit of attention. Dr and staff listen and very thorough. Maybe a bit pricey but convenient, comfortable and professional.

After two weeks of my pet experiencing severe allergic reaction, excessive scratching and ripping out fur, vomiting, diarrhea and kennel cough and not being able to administer her medicine orally these lovely people treated her immediately with no wait time in beautifully clean and extremely friendly office. I love you guys! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Same day she already got better :)

My cat and I have just moved from London and we could not be more delighted with Bond Vet at Hell’s Kitchen. The staff are all extremely friendly and explained everything so well. Everyone was very kind and I know my cat is in good hands here. I’m so glad to have found a great vet!

Bond Vet is incredibly close to where I am in Midtown, so I decided to give them a try for my cat with a mild skin infection. They were incredibly responsive, clean and provided me the information I was looking for. Highly recommend.

My 14year old dog wasn't doing well and her vet that she normally go to is closed on weekends. Met with the doctor to get a consultation. The staff was very patient with me making a decision. They answered all of my questions and didn't pressure me to make a decision right away. In the end I decided to go with a temporary solution just until I could see my dog's regular vet on Monday. Felt it was the right decision for me and my dog.

Very good turn around and availability of appointments. Multiple locations and an easy to manage pet medical record submission website. All seemed nice and friendly with intentional care. Average wellness visit runs around $100, vaccines around $70 per.

My Yorkshire died in that clinic recently, while the doctor tried to figure out what was the reason for his seizure, make assumptions, tell me this is the heart attack or his problems. And the death of my loved one cost me more than a thousand dollars!
