We went here for convenience because it's on our block. We are so happy with the staff and service. Everyone was very nice. Excellent customer service. The Dr was supportive and answered all of our questions as first time pet parents. Very patient. :)

Even when we moved an hour north of the city, we still drive our pup in to see this team.

I brought my brand new kitten in to the hospital for his first check-up with Dr. Hildenbrand and she and the nurse took exceptional care of my kitten.

Everyone was very caring and professional.

I would highly recommend BP vet hospital, both Dr. Kerry McLaughlin & Dr. Angela Hildenbrand are very knowledgeable and extremely caring doctors. They both really care about the health & well being of the animals! I was going to a different vet previously, but I had to rush my dog into their hospital and not only has my dog improved in health, but without them, I don’t think my dog would be alive today. Recently my other dog passed suddenly, but I believe he passed from old age as I never knew his true age bc he was from a shelter. I was very upset about the sudden loss, and Dr. McLaughlin took the time to hand write a sincere note in a condolence card for me. I had dogs all my life as a child & have had numerous vets throughout my lifetime with numerous dogs who died of old age, & this is the first vet I ever had who gave me a hand written condolence card. I think that says ALOT about Dr.McLaughlin & how she sincerely cares about these dogs & they are not just another number. Both Dr.McLaughlin & Dr.Hildenbrand will listen to your concerns & if you are having a tough time, they both understand the issues your going thru & they will treat you like a human being (not just another customer). If you are looking for vets with kindness & humanity who really care about the well being of animals & their pet parents, BP Vet hospital is where you should go!

We had a great experience with sending our dog in for teeth cleaning & for a mass removal at the same time. Dr. McLaughlin and the staff were very communicative throughout the process and made us feel confident that our dog was in good hands. They did a great job and followed up with us to make sure all was ok and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this practice!

Throughout Covid the docs and support staff have continued their amazing care, and made me and both fur kids feel comfortable and well taken-care-of, even when protocols dictated that humans could not accompany their pets inside. It's been a tough year and a half, and their care and conscientiousness is fantastic. They are patient and enthusiastic always.

Our dog isn't the easiest to deal with. He acts out in stressful situations and in environments like the vet's office. However, the staff at Battery Park Veterinary Hospital was so patient and understanding. They handled his bad behavior with grace! We will be back to this office with all of our veterinary needs.

Dr.Mc Laughlin, VMD was very straightforward and clear with my cats’ diagnoses and treatment options. Whole team is very professional and prompt and sourceful.

They were the most accommodating and communicative vet. From me asking for a same day emergency walk in for Molly, as she was sick for 48 hours all the way through to the next day of checking in on her progress and how she is feeling the day after. They are definitely animal lovers. I love my little girl more than humans and would trust them with her anytime. I cannot thank them enough.

We are new to the area and needed a same day appointment. The office was very accommodating and got us in to see Dr. Gi right away. The whole team was great with our pup and very caring!

Dr. Hildenbrand exceeded my expectations in every way. She listened effectively to everything I communicated to her about my two cats. She was incredibly gentle with both cats despite one of my cats being very uncooperative. After examining them, Dr. Hildenbrand was very clear in describing the necessary treatment. She listened and responded patiently to all of my questions. This is a vet that clearly LOVES animals.

The practice has been fantastic getting our cats ready for their move to Australia. Very satisfied and thankful for their efficacy and care. Thank you!

Dr. Berk is amazing! I took my cat in for his frequent diarrhea condition. Dr. Berk explained everything to me very patiently and clearly - listing out exam options, goals and fees. Everything is so transparent and I know exactly how much I need to pay (unlike human medical experience), he also helped me set my expectation right. He is very through, patient and responsive. All the staff I interacted with are super friendly and caring. This is a reliable place to take your pet for a check.

They can't handle cats at all. If your cats are stressed at all they insist you drug your cat and attempt to get as many visits for a routine check up as possible. Before covid when I was allowed in the exam room I witnessed a vet tech over stimulate my cat prior to the vet entering the room, by the time they were ready to administer any routine vaccines, she was stressed and upset. They insist you return with a drugged cat to get multiple exam fees from you... This happened again when I wasn't in the room due to covid restrictions. Definitely a pattern with this vet.

We love Dr. McLaughlin! She's absolutely wonderful with our sometimes-terrible-patient cattle dog mix. Everyone is so kind and responsive here. We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Drs. McGlochlan & Burke had kept my 2 rescue Chihuahuas very healthy and well for over 17 years. Now with my Morkie, they continue their exceptional care, and have my full trust. Being in the Veterinary industry, I could take Daisy to any animal hospital in the city. I consciously CHOOSE to take her to them, as they are the best of the best! The whole staff is attentive, professional and kind. Even during this pandemic, they have continued to serve the community with wonderful dedication to our pets while protecting the health of pet parents and themselves equally. Thank you to the doctors and staff!

We were able to get an appointment for our new puppy within just a few days, and the dr and all staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely care about our dog’s wellbeing. Very glad to have this practice close by!

Had an emergency that entailed a same day urgent care surgery. Thankfully Dr. McLaughlin was on site and able to see us and carried out the entire procedure successfully with care and compassion, from the intake process to the post operation follow up. Would not entrust my Cat with anyone other than Battery Park, and am extremely grateful.

They are professional, care affectionately for the dogs, and so far are responsive to all questions. Heh, my dog wanted to go back! She walked past the closed door and whimpered, pulled to enter, this morning after a Rabies/distemper vac yesterday. They were closed it was too early. That says something!!
