I was extremely happy with the care we received from Dr. Tufaro and his staff. When our dog was well, they accommodated his special behavioral needs and were very cost conscious about not ordering unnecessary tests. More recently, when he was nearing the end of his life, I couldn't have asked for a more kind and empathetic team to help us navigate this painful time. Thank you so much for everything.

Great staff and doctor. Explain health procedures that they are going to do for your animal and they're very compassionate, God Bless them and their practice.

Dr Tufaro really eased my nerves taking my 9month old cat in after she fractured her back leg. The staff and Doctor are really caring about the pets in their care. We were in and out in about one hour which really surprised me because my cat needed xrays. Overall I wish I could give more stars but we will definitely be coming back here from now on. Thank you ABC VET.

I took my adopted cat here three times. The first time was Oct 2019 when he needed x-rays to check on a surgery (with plates and screws) that was done pre-adoption at another animal hospital earlier that year. I was pleased with that visit. I went back in Sept 2020 for vaccinations and because I suspected my cat was deaf. At that visit, the vet said that my cat was overweight, called him a "walrus" and when I asked about his hearing, his initial response was that he probably doesn't respond because he's fed too much. That's very unhelpful and rude. He acknowledged that he wasn't a hearing specialist and said I should check with a specialist but that his ears looked okay, otherwise. When I went for my last visit May 2021, my cat was at a healthier weight and we were getting an exam for a travel health certificate since we were moving out of state. I asked the front desk if I could get his medical history and x-rays that day and they assured me that they would email it to my new vet in my new city so to follow up with them. Once in my new city, I emailed them for the records and x-rays and they sent me a scan of his written notes in June 2021. I emailed them again about the x-rays in July (no response) and again in August (no response). I called them and the front desk said they don't check their emails often. They also said they didn't have the x-rays because it was lost in an old system. That was really frustrating since I wanted to check if the screws and plate in my cat's leg had moved. They were unapologetic and told me to check with the pre-adoption vet's office. That office only had pre-surgical x-rays. Now I don't have my cat's x-rays and no way to know if the plate/screws have moved. I am very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness and professionalism.

Wow. I'm actually really surprised at this place. I called to get general information/pricing and Gina was super helpful and thorough with answering all my questions. No other clinic would give me answers to questions like pricing... Even my appt time was great. I got seen a little late but where do u ever get seen on time? The doctor was great too. Very informative. I will absolutely recommend this clinic

The vet didn’t find what was wrong with my dog even though I told him. Went to another vets and they saw it straight away. (Still charged me for it)

I live in Bayridge and had horrible experiences with the veterinarians in the location. I found ABC and couldn't be happier. Dr. Tufaro is definitely my fatty's Guardian Angel. He went above and beyond. The staff is kind and professional. I strongly recommend ABC.

Honestly I didn't think I'd review our vet but we're very happy with ABC Animal Hospital and I thought it warranted it. Dr Tufaro is professional and helpful, especially as we're first-time puppy owners and we're basically helicopter owners who have no idea which things we should worry about and which we shouldn't. The staff are kind and accommodating as well, and we always feel taken care of. Our dog drags us towards the vet and loves going, so they must be doing something right!

I am a first time pet owner and I took my rescue dog 6 months old to ABC Animal Hospital just to check everything with her was ok. I have took her last month to another clinic in the city but I was not loving them to be my regular vet going forward. The nurse or assistant that took care of us was very informative and kind and he knew his stuff and was very good at explaining, and the other nurse that pass through several times was very nice too. the clinic is clean and pleasant to wait in, and you feel relaxed the moment you enter there because they care about making you feel comfortable. I spoke with the doctor over the phone when he was with my pet and he seems very expert and answered all my question with answers that make sense to me. I never felt pressure to buy unnecessary stuff like with the other vet and I felt they do care about the animals the most giving an affordable and nonsense free service. I will be coming back, I am so happy I found them.

The people are so calm and attentive to their pet patients! Always makes my pets feel better and nurses them back to health!

I Called Today Oct.31, 2020, was on the phone for about 2 minutes when my call just got disconnected. Called again and the same thing. Only this time, someone pick the phone up and hung up after waiting for about 5 minutes. Called a third time and the same thing... Hold only to be disconnected..... All along my my lovely Nena is in Pain. Thank you ABC.

Dr Tufaro and his staff are amazing! They are so nice and supportive to my cat and I. Dr Tufaro and his staff always make sure I don't panic if my furbaby is sick. As a first-time kitty mamma, I really appreciate how Dr Tufaro and his staff always take the time to educate me all about cat anatomy, proper ear cleaning, what's normal for a cat, and what to look out for.

Had a wonderful experience at ABC w Dr Tufaro! He addressed my senior dogs" issues and didn't run up a big bill. Can't say enough, highly recommend.

The vet is kind and really cares for our little family pets. Best place to bring your pets for it all.

I am sitting here with my 11 year old golden doodle who has cancer, diabetes and cataracts. And I just wanted to say that we feel the care that Dr Tufaro and team have given him throughout this whole process has been outstanding.
