By far the best vet Ive ever been Great and gentle staff We took our car Ella(ear infection), and they were great. Took care of her and were sweet and professional! Great price. They don’t overcharge you and they are super qualified! Highly recommend!!

We've been taking our dog, Kevin, here for years and I can't overstate how wonderful the Brooklyn Roots team has been! They're so attentive and are great about patiently explaining everything. They love their patients and it shows!

Through the years, i tried several local vets but I've never found one as good as Brooklyn Roots. I started with Dr. Salas, who I really liked but left the practice; my dog is now treated by Dr. Stronger who is simply the best. She correctly dx'd my dog with a rare cancer and guided me to an oncologist at VERG. I continued to bring Ruby back to Brooklyn Roots for blood work, ultrasounds, etc. The entire staff, especially Amelia, are wonderful. Now that Ruby is at the end of her life, Dr. Stronger took my call in the midst of a busy day to discuss options, and addressed my concerns about when to put her down. Not only are her medical skills top notch, but her understanding and compassion at this challenging time are above and beyond. I'm grateful I found this practice.

According to them, they a dept walking during normal business hours. Not my experience. I wound up at VERG, which in hindsight, was best.

Brooklyn Roots is a lifesaver... after having major issues at Franklin Ave i decided to switch over to BK Roots & i couldn’t be more thankful. they were able to fit my dog in last minute & were so gentle & empathetic to Hugo’s anxiety during vet visits. they treated the rapidly growing mass on his jawline that Franklin Ave Animal Hospital did not properly manage. he’s now on the road to recovery & i have the utmost confidence in their plan. they were also super up front with the cost of everything & explained what my options were to save some money. the staff is so nice. i’m 100% going to continue going to BK Roots for both of my fur babies.

This place is the best veterinary, they are nice and the prices are reasonable .

Dr. Stronger has been a lifesaver during this lockdown period. My older dog needed an urgent dental procedure and my pup had a mast cell tumor removed. A month apart. We are very grateful for her commitment - to her practice and her patients. We have been taking our dogs here for a few years now and we can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Stronger and her staff. Your pets will be in the best of hands at Brooklyn Roots.

I have been so happy with the care my cat has received from Brooklyn Roots. I really appreciate their precautions during the pandemic & still felt the same high level of care, compassion, and warmth from Dr. Stronger and her wonderful staff.

So no one told me when I booked my appointment I wouldn't be allowed to go back with my pet. I'm not too comfortable with that. How are they supposed to ask me questions about his behavior or permission to do something we may not have actually planed for? There are no signs on the door indicating pet owners are not allowed in the building and it was not communicated to me at the time of booking the appointment.

Just moved to the area and needed to find a new vet. Super friendly and Dr. Lantner is great!! The only vet I have ever met that does followup phone calls herself. Treatment makes sense compared to places that run every test and procedure possible at the first visit.

Absolutely loved the entire staff here! The locum vet in our appointment took the time to explain what we needed to do to take care of our senior pup, and answered all of our questions.

I followed Dr Salas from another practice. She has cared for all of my rodents over the last 15 years. She is is kind, patient, takes her time making sure you understand everything that's going on with your pet. She takes the time to show you how to care for your pet's needs; I've never been rushed through an appointment. Very nice, clean facilities. Can't say enough good things about them.

They've been taking care of our cat for years and are very communicative and compassionate with her and us both. Couldn't ask for a better vet.

This place is great. Dr Salas and Dr. Stronger are both knowledgeable and very sweet. Whenever we come in with our ???? they remember her and the last issue she had. The office is clean and the rest of the staff is also very friendly.

Dr Salas is an angel. She took care of my dog like it was her own. She is extremely knowledgeable but does her homework to get every possible solution. She saved my dogs life and I'm eternally grateful.

Doctor Stronger is an excellent doctor. and the aforementioned Adrienne is also fantastic assistant. They are all knowledgeable, both book and experiential, and compassionate, also, appropriately humorous, animals are fun n funny, I,appreciate, those who tolerate humour and it relieves stress for both human n animal. Also her approach is thorough, and innovative, And their prices are comparatively reasonable. and the place is clean. only complaint is vet medicine in general is expensive, Knowledgeable, and compassionate

Staff is welcoming and caring of our cat, Ron. The facility itself is clean and well taken care of. They are thorough, taking care to make sure your animal is getting the best care. Vet involves you in process and explains everything they're doing. The cat, was, well, a cat.

This place is awesome ! Tyson (my pup) has been coming here since 2017 and every visit has been a success. Love reviewing this place just because of how happy the staff and Dr Salas make me. Today we popped in unannounced because Tyson got an ear infection a day ago. His last one was over a year ago so the drill was more familiar. Due to it being an emergency walk in visit the consult fee was a tad bit higher than usual but also fair. Tyson was in and out within the hour. Thank you so much to all the staff and Dr Salas for always making the visits stress free and quick.

Super impressed with this vet. The staff is all really nice, the office is extremely clean and the doctors are knowledgeable. They are not overpriced and can get you in pretty quickly.

Wonderful experience dealing with a challenging (and emotional) situation with our senior pup. Dr Salas took time to explain our dog's condition, and could also hear my concerns and explore a treatment plan that we all felt comfortable pursing. I could be honest about what was realistic for us in the long term, and every question was given a thorough answer. The facility was very clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. Truly a gem - I am so glad to have found them.
