Thankfully this clinic no longer performs declawing, as verbally confirmed..I use the boutique for vet pet food, which is priced on par with market, and have had friendly technicians help me. Interactions have been in French, but I was assured vrts could also speak English if I need — helpful when dealing with medical issues. As my neighborhood vet clinic, I will now also consider bringing my boy in for veterinary services.

????i've been coming to this clinic for over 15 years, even after moving to another city I continue to bring my pets here. They treat your animal like their own family, they handled my sweet little old man with pure dignity and love when he passed away this summer and they are incredibly honest. The detail they put into your pet's file is incredible: I once received over 20 pages of documentation thoroughly cataloging my dog's condition, It was very clear they had taken a lot of time and put lots of attention &effort into his care. I've never had anyone try to sell me on a service that wasnt necessary; in fact they discourage costly MRI's/ x-rays etc when it doesnt seem like it will be beneficial (example my 15 yr old pug was ill & they advised that testing would run about 2k, while treatment would run about 3k & potentially prove to be fatal to a dog his age. they encouraged me to think about whether 2k for tests would be well spent and suggested my money would be better spent on making him as comfortable as possible in his final weeks.) their whole team conducts themselves with outstanding integrity and empathy. i feel lucky to have found people with such warmth and dedication to their craft, especially in an industry that is often saturated with dishonest people whose primary interest in your companion is to what extent they can profit. They've made some of the worst moments of my life so much more endurable????

Very knowledgeable vets, staff is friendly. Dr. Journet is very good at what he does. Cons: busy at times and hard to get someone on the phone and you have to wait when you get there.

Poorest service: business-oriented, pushing you to pay for food and unecessary exams but when it comes to advice and care, forget it. Also if they ever give you an appointment, you still have to wait at least 3h. I will never go back there! Luckily there are other options in Mtl!

Passionate people that really love animals and give their best to help them. I’ve been their customer for 5 years since I’ve adopted my first cat through them. The staff is always friendly and the doctors will take the best care of your pet. So don’t hesitate, you are on good hand if choose them.

They are caring and so so nice. I can't express enough how much this place is my new favorite Vet place and I will recommend hugely to anyone. They help my pet and they cate well and I never feel like they want to run studies or test of weatever (just to be sure) like other places... Finally I just arrive to my favorite trusty place. Dr Mender is the best vet in the Hospital. He really cares about your pupp and gives you the best advice.

Seems like they have a complicated system for starting new files. As a store they have a good supply of items. I was able to find what I needed for my diabetic cat, essential items that other vets in the area did not have available.

Wow! Great experience at this place. My dog was having trouble walking and they told me to come right in. Saw a vet in less than 10 minutes- got a full consultation, anti-inflammatories and they expressed his anal glands -all for under $100. Definitely going back here in the future. Friendly staff and clean clinic to boot.

It is such a shame that I wont be returning to this vet. My partner and I have both visited this vet for several years now, and let me say the veterinarians themselves are fantastic. Really caring and professional. HOWEVER, the receptionists is another story - rude behavior, no welcoming vibe whatsoever, especially the female staff. After spending hundreds of dollars in their business you would think they would be kind and respectful - so far from the truth. Super stuck up and rude. My partner phoned several times to try to get some information, no response, and if any dialogue is happening with the receptionist - there is no kindness whatsoever, which is totally alarming given that she speaks to people who are concerned about their animals.Unbelievable. Total turnoff.

Disappointed in my dogs treatment... spent a lot of money for little to show for it....went to a real animal hospital and my dog got better the same day!!!! can you smell a money grab here????

Having been a client for more than 15 years (at the old location) they have been my go to team for my peace of mind. Even having left the neighbourhood I still drive in for check upland vaccinations. Dr Fatihi always impresses with his generosity and empathy,

They killed my cat. Seriously. I went in for dental work and my cat did not leave. Also, see this photo with a used needle on the floor.

I had previously had decent enough experiences with going to Vet Journet, but the past couple interactions have not been ideal. Some of the issues I have had in the past month: -a receptionist being extremely brusque and unprofessional towards me on numerous occasions when I ask reasonable questions regarding appointments, refilling a medication etc. -it says it is walk-in but they actually do make appointments, so you may not be able to be seen for a number of days (nowhere is this indicated on their site) -- the above mentioned receptionist even called me back once and left a very snarky voicemail on my phone because I had not followed through to make an appointment with them but had just said thank you and hung up -the system in place does not feel safe, they have many people coming in with their pets at the same time and going into the vet office with the vet (rather than the system the majority of vets have in place where you bring your pet to the door and do the appointment over the phone) Overall this is nothing totally egregious, and the appointment with the vet themselves was totally fine but I won't be going back. One of the benefits of this place in the past was the convenience of it being walk-in but it doesn't seem to be anymore. There are many vets in this city with amazing customer service, Vet Journet isn't one of them.

This is one of the best vets I've ever been to. First, I love the walk-in aspect of it, no need to wait for an appointment. Plus they're open 7 days a week. The staff is all super nice and my cats always felt good there. You can tell the vet's character by how your pet responds to them, and I had good energy from all the vet's we've met there. Most importantly, a few months ago I had to put down one of my cats.. and I could not have asked for a better experience. The kindness from everyone there, they put us in a darkened room together, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. We were in this room for hours until the final moments, and I could not be more grateful for this beautiful gesture during a tough time. I felt truly ready by the time we had the last needle. The only thing I would suggest, is asking for extra pain meds.. they had a hard time finding his veins and he experienced some pain with that.. which broke my heart. But they felt really bad and didn't do it on purpose. Next time I would just ask for extra sedation, to be sure there is minimal discomfort experienced. At the end, I asked the receptionist to please get my towel back from under my kitty, I couldn't bear to move him myself.. and he was sweet enough to also include some clippings from his fur ♥️ I still take my other cat there, and am so grateful for such a wonderful and caring clinic available.

Finally a vet that is not trying to rip you off! Their employees are great and you can just walk-in. Seriously, they are the best.

This is a place that you can trust the wellness of your pet. My cat went there for about a year for a bunch of health issues. It’s great for emergencies(my cat has that often). They have most of the important equipments so the test can be done right away. The doctors are experienced and have duo dilIgence in diagnoses. My cat got a cancer and needed to be put down eventually. The staff got my call and started to preparing right away. They did the best to have my cat go in a more peaceful way. On top of that, the young doctor gave great moral support to us. I just received a card from them for the loss. Very heart warming. In short, both the pets and the owners are treated very well there. Thanks you guys.
