Love the place. Friendly and the the staff is very knowledgeable and very clean.

Dr Dattner really cares for all the pets. He is really caring person. Today I met him in person. He is just a great human being. Staff is really nice. I give them 10 star.

Veterinary care itself is great, my boy got fixed there and was sent home looking great and everything, but unfortunately some staff members are very short and seem unhappy to answer any questions. Renee in particular has a habit of cutting folks off on the phone in an impatient way, and generally not very pleasant. Rude phone calls happen often but I have had very sweet people on the phone too. So, if you’re a patient person who will value the veterinary work itself come here.

The staff was amazing, this place marks every check off the list for a remarkable experience with your pets at the vet. Examinations were spot on and nothing beats the price. On top they gave us so many free samples I couldn't believe how nice everyone was. Thank you!

It was our first time and we came in 15 mins late, Dr. Katie was so nice and still accommodated us. The staff are all friendly nice.

Dr Tan is awesome. She’s been looking after my aussie Shepard called Adelaide. She spayed her and everything worked out fine. Also had ear infection and she treated her well. Dr Tan is professor and very gentle w dogs. Also the staff at the vet are very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Have made several complaints and have created a petition that’s being signed by 100s of surrounding neighbors. The establishment continues to operate outside of there working hours. They don’t open till 9am and they have dogs barking squealing and creating a noise ordinance violation which is recurring on a daily basis. All the videos of the dogs being mistreated left in the pouring rain and unattended for hours. Can’t wait till all there customers see these videos and realize what’s going on here. The staff refuses to be considerate of its neighbors. There are charges being filed and ASPCA is in the middle of starting a new investigation. It is illegal to operate a business and go against city noise ordinance in the state of ny

Very compassionate. The staff and Doctors are very understanding and attentive of your concerns and needs. You could tell they really care about your pets. I also find they are very reasonably priced. They are also available for in office visits 7 days a week.

The best. Our pets are like our children, and I have no fear, with my pet in their care. A+++

Called on Tuesday telling them my dog was coughing alot. They said we can't get you in today but we have an opening tomorrow at 4. I said ok ill take it. At around an hour before my appointment They call to confirm for Thursday now. I explain to them that it was for today and they said oh no sorry the vet is triple booked. I told them forget it ill find a new vet.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. First, the new office is beautiful and very clean. The staff is fantastic, Betty is extremely friendly, professional, and empathetic. The best part of this practice though is Dr. Tan. She is wonderful, thorough, caring, and overall is a great doctor.

We absolutely loved our experience with Dr. Avelar. She was incredibly thorough, answered all our questions, is kind, compassionate and overall, we felt as though we can trust our puppy (Abby) is in good hands. As a first time puppy parent, I feel confident in their services and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Dogs are left alone for hours in the back unattended and barking disturbing the entire neighborhood in the surrounding area. The dogs are clearly unsupervised and are even left out in the pouring rain. Several reports have been made to aspca and they will be making another visit to this u ethical institution this week !! Finally , the neighbors have all been waiting for this. Maybe when they receive more fines they will start addressing the issues. Unprofessional and Horrible staff members who smoke weed and cigs in the back while they watch your animals. They pretend to be nice when you drop off your dog but you should see what they do to them after that !!

Went to Mineola for my puppy since they didn't have an opening at my vets

I've been using the garden city location for years for my cat, just went to mineola specifically because Dr Dattner was there (he's the best!) Everyone was super friendly and helpful even in this weird post covid time I felt completely comfortable letting them take my pet for a checkup while I waited in the car. Prompt service, Dr Dattner (as always) explained everything thoroughly, answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed.

I've been using them for over 25years with all three of my dogs.

Took our 5 month old Rotti to see Dr.Dattner for the first time because of a recommendation and they were right when they told us Dr D was awesome. Dr.D took the time to explain everything and he was in no rush to get off the phone. Great job Dr.D and staff !

Always a pleasant experience. Took care of my two sick cats. Nothing serious. No needless services and trimmed nails nicely even though cats were agitated from sickness and leaving house. I have been bringing all my cats there for over 20 years. I have a lot of cats. Enjoy

We have had many pets taken care of here. We had a ferret and now we have a poodle. We always receive the best and caring service.

It usually takes years to establish a good rapport to find the right veterinarian to care for one's pets. However, I bought Groupon for my dogs checkup and another for my older ones vaccines. Both curbside experiences were extremely well conducted. I felt that they took great safety precautions to keep everyone safe. I feel confident in their services and the great care that dr. Avelar provided my dogs. I have confidence in their skills.

This place is by far the worst I've dealt with. I have been calling them for two weeks straight, with no one answering or voicemail. The website site says they are open but just now I called three times in a row and was hung up on. And this is not the first time. Over the past four years I have made excuses just to stay close to the area but clearly these individuals are not interested in my business. Their loss. Just unprofessional.

It’s taken me some time to write this review. My Frenchie, Lola, had always gotten excellent care at Mineola Animal Hospital. The staff, from the ladies at the front desk to the doctors, had always been kind, friendly, and compassionate. They’ve taught me how to give a finicky dog her pills and explained Lola’s x-rays and treatments as well as every other ailment or issue. However, in March, I made the decision to have Lola put to sleep to end her pain after her long battle to get better was just too much for her. Although extremely upsetting, I can honestly say that the staff at Mineola make the whole process more manageable. Because of Mineola Animal Hospital Lola was put to sleep wrapped in her favorite blankie and surrounded by her family as well as her favorite doctor, Dr. Avelar. She knew she was loved. I was able to spend as much time as I needed with her and reminisce about the funny things she’d do. Afterwards, I received a sympathy card from the ladies at the front desk and, when picking up Lola’s ashes, was met with love and empathy. I cannot thank Mineola Animal Hospital enough for what they have done for us throughout the years and for making a tough decision situation more bearable. Thank you.
