Prices are comparable or better than Chewy. Wide variety of supplies

Delivery was prompt, despite covid restrictions that everyone has been experiencing these days. Also, due to covid & year-end online shopping, items not in stock were adjusted from the total balance. They do their best to fill orders as requested and whenever possible let you know of alternate items if available. Prices are good, and they make good on price match.

Used to be better but I went in yesterday and it looks like they gave up on the fishes

I been going to this store every since I moved to maspeth 8 years ago. I enjoy going to this store because it has things I can’t find at Petco such as clothes, toys and snacks for my two year old bulldog. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t the same on Saturday January 1st, 2021. I went to my local store as usual because I wanted to purchase some birds. When asking for help to one of the employees ( Joseph ) he had an miserable attitude. When asking for help they would always say “ go to the front and ring the bell “ but there was no one at the front not cashiers. When I finally saw employees at the front and asked for help they all just looked at me and stared without any effort to help except for Angeles, she jumped right into it & helped us during our entire time at the store, something I can’t say about the rest of the employees. Going back to the first employee ( Joseph) who I think was the manager after seeing how he treated and talked to the rest of the employees, his attitude just got worst when we came across an issue. Besides his horrible attitude he kept putting his mask down frequently which I don’t see proper specially with what’s going on right now. The store provides a lot of good services and variety of options, I strongly recommend looking for Angeles if you guys need any help.

This pet store always got great deals, always fully stocked, quick checkout and the staff is very helpful. I’d rather go here over petco and petsmart

Always a fun visit, love the staff. My dog enjoys the tiny balls on the bottom row of the toy isle. They're small enough for his small size and in various color combinations. With the supermarket near by, I do my grocery shopping (with him in the shopping cart) and if he's been especially good, he gets a stuffie. The birds all look very cute. And there's tons of options for foods. I'm still trying to find a healthy and enjoyable alternative for my cat but once I do, I know there will be pet supplies plus to offer it.

We have been coming here since they opened and today my husband saw mice running around, droppings and food eaten open by the mice. My husband told the cashier if they know that they have a mice problem and she said nothing to him. This is gross and we don’t plan on returning. There is nothing wrong with having a rodent problem but when you do nothing about it, that’s where the problem lies.

Love this store! Staffs here are very nice and the store always have a huge selections of dog food brands that you can’t find from Petco or PetSmart. Also, Pet Supplies Plus’s website always has monthly deals that you don’t wanna miss out on. Love it!

I’ve been shopping at the Maspeth NY location for several years. Great customer service by managers & staff. Clean & well stocked store. They support neighborhood Rescues & allow adoption events.

I live all the way in Long Island now and I travel to this pet supplies plus for grooming with Cindy! Cindy is the most kindest, warm hearted groomer I have ever encounter! She takes her time with my pup Hershey and he loves her very much! I appreciate her love for each and every pet that comes to get groomed! You will never find another groomer like Cindy! I recommend her 100%!

This place is ridiculous. Their new hires are laughable honestly, talking loudly about how much they hate their jobs, complaining aboit coworkers. I stood for 15 minutes waiting to be helped because a parakeet seemed injured and I was hoping they would move it but luckily the little buddy made it to a corner by itself. A couple came in asking about the birds and this bigger white guy, blond hair and beard, didn't know a THING. Straight up reading some bull off of his phone, called a conure a budgie. The birds are ridiculously overpriced. I leaned over to the girl and told her the cockatiels at petco are 200 dollars cheaper but if they wanna know more about birds the petshop down the street knows a lot more about em. The guy lingered around and joked it off like "well yeah you should do your research before buying." Yeah well maybe you should be more prepared for your job because that was downright embarrassing. The place is filthy overpriced and full of deadbeats, please support the small business down the street instead.

I faithfully go here to get my dog groomed I highly recommend Cindy! Before my dog use to be scared going in but every time he sees Cindy he jumps for joy so professional and truly loving towards animals! Thank you Cindy your amazing!!!

For freshwater fish go somewhere else. Dirty tanks and limited selection.

I showed up at 8 pm and was told no washes after 7 pm. Website and store grooming hours say til 9 pm. I drove 30 min here for no reason. Lady said “because someone has to clean it”.

I love this store! Get my cat littler here. Sometimes they have great sales on scented Cats Pride...its the best littler I've used..my cat is happy too!

Nice sized store with a friendly staff. Lots of fresh water fish, no frozen food, and nothing much for salt water. They do have "baked goods" for dogs and cats. They seem to have a decent selection for lizards and snakes.

Bought some bedding for my guinea pig and was very disgusted when I took a handful of bedding and placed it into my guinea pig’s cage, only to find that there was poop in the bedding. Looked into the bag and found even more poop. It appears that the bedding had been recycled?? This is unacceptable and very upsetting. Would like an explanation and will not be buying again.

Love this store. The people who work there are fabulous. They answer your questions,, offer products they would use and they know who you are. You can't find that kind of service anywhere. My go to place for all my pets
