The Court Square family has been nothing but a dream. They have been my little Nikki's only provider and I don't ever plan on changing that. We love Court Square so much that we drive from Staten Island to Queens.

I love Court square animal hospital. The staff is great, wait time isn't long. They are very gentle and caring with your pet. If they aren't able to see your pet on an emergency basis, they will recommend an alternative place.

The staff is great and generally speaking, they’re good vets; but it’s about time they let people go in their offices. Also, they could do a better job at following up with patients. They also charge a deposit of $35 to secure an appointment which although fair, is not ideal.

My dog has received diligent care from this vet - and shes had plenty of expensive visits. Dr. DeAcetis is very sweet, knowledgeable and a great surgeon. She was able to successfully spay my dog during a heat cycle. I highly recommend requesting her care.

I took my puppy to this place they didn't update hes records on the app i call them to email it to me because i have a emergency , but the girls that answer the phone didn't let talk, she was very rude and had nasty attitude all i needed was a simple email to show to the emergency clinic where i took my puppy. this place all they care is about the money. is a very expensive place i spend alot of money here and service is so bad . ????

We used to take Donovan to another Vet, and they were not friendly with him. Court Square Animal Hospital is the best; he loves it there. We live in the neighborhood and can’t walk down that block cause every time Donovan passes by. He wants to go inside and say hi to everyone.

Friendly staff starting from reception to the doctor. My rescue was abused and throw off of a building, going to the vet isn't pleasant for her. You understood her trauma and try to work with us on making it as comfortable as possible. Thank you!!

My fur baby is a bit skiddish. The staff was very cautious and provided tips to help make the visit as smooth as possible. I am totally satisfied with my experience.

We absolutely love the team at Court Square Animal Hospital and have been thrilled with the service they provided us as dog parents, and for our boy Wookie since they opened in 2019. While we're excited for our move and new adventure, we're sad to be leaving the trusted "family" but are glad to be staying in the system at one its sister hospitals on Long Island. We'll miss you all!

This is the kind of vet that’ll inflate your bill at the end of the visit. They’ll push every test and shot under the sun for your pets, won’t disclose the costs/charges beforehand, and you’ll get slapped with an unnegotiable bill when you leave. Don’t bother trying to talk to them about it either. This place is not good - if you’re looking for a vet that doesn’t feel like a scam, go to Bond Vet. Response to Owner - yes I've been there with two cats, great job recognizing past patients. I know you're trying to save face with your response but other reviews have corroborated my story, and what you're saying is not true. At least admit your faults, own up to them, and try to improve.

I had a great experience. It might be helpful to offer a price list for the services so that we could have an estimated cost,

They have been clearly communicative and caring and quite professional in their treatment of their customers and covid mandates too.

They have been great since I first got my dog. We have been with them since he was a puppy. Gabby always double checks if his nails are cut and always double checks my dog health. Best hospital to take your dog especially if you are a new dog mom/dad. Very responsive and helpful to answer the long list of questions I have. The nurses and doctors are the best and so nice.

Staff and doctors here are awesome! Beby was with Gabby today and she’s super attentive to what I say and offered suggestions and she did a great job clipping his nails! Very sweet ♥️

While Court Square does a great job of seeming inviting and caring when your animal is healthy, they were negligent and uncaring when my 16 year old cat was unwell. We brought my cat in for lethargy, extra chattiness and lack of appetite on a weekday afternoon. The vet took a blood test and said they'd get back to us the next day with results. As my cats symptoms worsened the next day (more lethargy and still wasn't eating), I followed up three times for an analysis of the blood test that I paid for as my cat's condition was deteriorating. They said they had the results and the vet would get back to me by end of day. 7PM (closing time) rolled around and we still had not received a call, even though they explicitly told me they had results in the morning. The complete lack of urgency was disheartening to say the least, especially from people we entrust to care for our fur baby. Thankfully, I was able to get in touch with the sister hospital in West Hills, LI (open 24 hours). The caring, professional vets there were able to analyze the blood test within 2 hours (something Court Square couldn't/didn't do in a full 24 hours) and recommended I bring my cat in to be hospitalized,as her symptoms appeared to indicate something more serious - even my untrained eye saw this, but the vets at Court Square either didn't notice or didn't care. I've reached out numerous times to Court Square Animal Hospital to see if they care to rectify the situation, but they have yet to do anything right - they haven't even apologized for their outright negligence, let alone have the vet return a call to attempt to explain what happened. More than anything though, I'm thankful for the folks at West Hills who noticed a medical emergency remotely, while the people I previously trusted to care for my cat at Court Square couldn't even call back with a blood test analysis. I cannot in good conscience recommend Court Square Animal Hospital if your pet is in need of real medical care; they keep up appearances during check ups, but were completely disinterested when my cat was visibly sick. My cat was nursed back to relative health by the folks at West Hills, though she still has health issues. I truly believe things could've been much worse if not for getting through to West Hills in the late evening. Absolutely shameful

Court Square is the best! I’ve been bringing my fur baby Ace since we brought him home over a year ago and the care he receives is excellent. The staff is very attentive and ensures Ace is up to date with all vaccinations and preventatives. The responsiveness and turn around time for appointments is great. I recommend you bring your fur baby in!!!

We had a very bad experience with Court Square Animal Hospital, we were 20 min late to our 11:40am appointment, we called the clinic letting them know we were running late due to traffic, just as we were pulling up to the clinic they called us saying that as per the doctor who was going to see my pet that we cannot be seen, due to being late, in my experience, the clinic and the doctors preferred to keep my $35 FEE instead of rendering service to my pet, keep in mind this was our first time late, and we have been with the clinic since my pet was a puppy. I feel as though we were not properly treated, I know of other clinic that would have worked with us. In reality we were late however the clinic put us down as a NO SHOW, which was not the case, therefore I DO NOT recommend this hospital, and I have moved my pet to a more understanding and helpful, hospital who would work with me and my pet and not against us.

As a new bulldog puppy mom I had a million questions and they answered all of them. I feel confident in the care my puppy got and everyone was extremely professional.

Very friendly staff and was very attentive during my pets visit. Knocked off a star because they offered to shave some mats off my cats back legs and ended up cutting her, as well as shaving her tail (which I didn't ask for!)

Great place for my chiweenie. Gabby was great in helping us get a trim for my Frankie!

I am sad to change my review since the past year, but it is quite obvious this office cares more about making money than caring for animals. They charge a $35 appointment deposit just to make an appointment. When calling about my sick dog, they didn't care and told me to go to an emergency room. If you live in Long Island City, take your pet to The Veterinarians at Court Square instead

We're SO impressed with this hospital. (I wish my physicians were as kind and caring as Dr. DeAcetis!) Our 10-week old puppy was biting the fur off her tail, so I asked neighbors for a vet near us (Vernon Blvd, Long Island City). Everyone said not to go to the two local ones because they "upsell" unnecessary services and shots every time an animal comes in. So I checked Yelp and saw that this animal hospital is highly rated--and now I know why. The staff is friendly, efficient, and obviously love animals. (The puppy's a nervous crier, but the tech who took her in was able to calm her almost instantly.) The doctor explained everything--including things that she said the puppy may not need--and called me back when I had a question. And unlike all the other vets, the only people allowed inside are the doctors and the staff because they want to protect themselves and the hospital from COVID (and the flue--yes, to my amazement, dogs can get the flu, and there's a canine flue shot). I'm so glad I found this place.
