Petco Little Neck, New York

Nicholas was a true help today at Petco. Helped me with my water filter purchase. Was super knowledgeable. As a office manager myself, I appreciate/applaud great customer service when I see it!

We liked the Little Neck store very much, but we went there because our usual store, Petco Unleashed in Fresh Meadows is very sadly closing and they weren't as well stocked as they usually are. We will miss that store especially Silvana who always treated us and our dog Henry very special. Thank you for many years of great service!

Do not use the Trainer. She's Total waste of time. She's inexperience. Follows Youtube tutorial video. What a hell!

Petco customer service and store reps. always go above and beyond whenever I shop at their store or purchase online. I get better prices from them than Chewy.

Can never be mad at Petco! Although you might be able to find better prices online somewhere they always have everything you need with quick access.

Nice and very kind crew. Our family visit for bunny and bieard dragons food with accessory. When we call crew for pickup live food tall crew guy coming with bright smile face then we got nice service .

Stock is limited, can't blame them for that during the current situation. Staff is always very helpful.

4 star restaurant. Really have to say, the seasoning was quite good. The special sauce I must say was quite delightful. However, the customer service was not the greatest, as an employee kept begging me to stop when I was at the buffet. Overall, food was great, would want to be unbothered when eating however.

Okay place to shop. Only problem is there's usually only one cashier and the line to pay is always so long.

They need more stuff on fishing section. At least on weekends plz... 1 hour wait to get some fish is insane.

I really don’t know how Petco can spread their business all over the country since every single time I stepped into their store I had a horrible experience as a customer. First time, I took my dog to get her groomed, they don’t allow us come in because I didn’t bring her previous vaccination record, so they let me wait outside of the clinic for 30mins until they confirmed my dog is vaccinated from her previous clinic. Then I spent around 100 bucks for the grooming, but they shaved her! Only because her fur get tangled a little bit. On the opposite, it never happens in any other pet store that can always groomed her beautifully even though her fur is slightly tangled. Second time, I bring my cat to get the vaccine shot, they don’t allow me to come in again, this time is because I hold my cat in my arm without a carrier, so they force me make an option of either buy a carrier or go home to get the carrier then go back and miss the appointment, so I have to buy a carrier which I don’t need. The problem is they never informed me on the phone or by email before my appointment that I have to bring anything except my pet. Annoying. Never again.

I haven't been inside. But this place is very clean and parking is easy.

My wife took our cat here for a vaccine today and they would not let her inside until she purchased a $12 CARDBOARD BOX that they call a “carrier.” I see dogs walking around freely every single time I visit but you need a carrier to bring a cat the whole ten steps to the clinic? I feel like they took advantage of my wife, who doesn’t speak a ton of English. I called the 800 number and they don’t care. Just be aware of this place and their 6,000% markup on cardboard boxes!

Clean store. Easy and in the neighborhood. I also enjoy shopping there to socialize.

I have an older German Shepard and both times I bought him in for a nail trim and the staff was SOOO KIND AND GENTLE cutting his nails. I was so comforted by that.

The employees are great but most of the time there is only one working. I don't want to hunt down a cashier every time I'm there.

I found exactly what I was looking for. A cone so my Yorkie won't scratch his paws.

Writing this review is a little weird - I am a huge supporter of smaller businesses, so naturally, I didn't go to Petco. However, after being dismissed by local stores, I decided to give this location a try. Immediately as I entered, I was greeted by an employee. I will be a new puppy owner, so went in to take a look and see what else I needed. I was approached by someone named Karen, who I told I was new puppy owner. Karen literally walked me around every single aisle explaining what products I would need now (or later), what each brand is known for, and what she does with her dog. She even sprinkled in some personal stories to add some flair. Turns out, Karen was the only manager on duty that day - I mention this because, although she was clearly in high demand, she STILL took the time to show me around and give me an exceptional experience. The great experience continued with every employee I experienced that day, even Nicholas, who was my cashier. From my experience, this Petco location is fantastic, and I 100% will be back here. Thanks Karen & Nicholas!
