Best place to take your pet in NYC.

I have been taking my cat Ginger to the humane society for her vet visits for her checkups. When the pandemic hit last year, I made the choice to take her to see Dr Tello since her previous vet clinic wasn’t excepting appointments at the time and I was looking for somewhere close so we didn’t have to travel to Manhattan and pay extra for parking. The first visit went very good. I came back for a second visit and this time it was inside when the previous one was we had to wait in the car and the conversation with the vet was through the phone. I never felt rushed at all by the vet when was asking questions regarding Ginger. Him and his staff are kind and care for the animals. If you live in Queens, especially in East Elmhurst/Jackson Heights, I recommend this place.

I question whether the owner of this practice actually cares about animals. It would seem if the vet does not like you, then don't expect him to save your pet. Dr. Tello is retired and the practice is run by his son.

Could not have been happier with our experience there. They treated Xena with so much love and compassion as if she was one of their own. Would absolutely recommend this hospital!

I went to the clinic and my dog is in serious pain , I say is because he still is , and I told the nurse that my dog was throwing up and told me “ we are cannot see your dog today” and proceeded to go back on the phone call on her personal cell phone. Definitely not where you want to take your pet.

We went in for a check up for my dog about 3 hours ago. First time ever going to this clinic. The staff was very welcoming and Friendly. They were very educated when it comes to the care of dogs. We met Dr Tello and from the moment he I walked in we felt extremely comfortable with him. He was so friendly with Sebastian and his main concern was to get Sebastian what he needed first before doing anything additional at the moment. He was able to detect every issue we were concerned about right away. I will definitely be returning to this clinic. Prices are fair and I feel comfortable leaving my dog in the care of Dr Tello and his staff.

Great vet, staff is very kind and loving to my dog. The only issue is what others have complained about before - the hidden prices and how they don't tell you how much everything will cost until after everything is done. Make sure you go into the appointment knowing exactly how much everything costs.

What a wonderful little neighborhood Veterinary. The staff is just wonderful pet friendly above and beyond. They even followed up when my pet was ill and I took him there, which I thought was a fairy warm gesture, as I have been to larger veterinaries which are just hospitals and more impersonal. The doctor it's just wonderful knowledgeable and just a great guy. I'm looking forward to her long relationship with Noah's Ark Pet Clinic.

If I could only find a doctor that cares for humans the way both father and son Dr's Tello do. As a retired nurse I know great care when I see it! Compassion and Knowlege are two words that come to mind when describing these two fine souls. You never feel rushed--all questions and procedures are explained thoroughly. The entire staff of vet techs are professional, knowledgeable, and brimming with love and tenderness. All costs are explained prior to procedures and prices are in usual range. Saint Francis, the patron saint of animals and the environment smiles down at these wonderful humans as they care for his flock.

I brought my newly rescued puppy to Noah's ark after a neighbor recommended them to me. Dr. Tello and his staff were fantastic. He quickly saw what was going on and was very thorough, taking the time to explain everything to me, getting out books to further show me illustrations of what was happening w my dog. He answered my million questions and was very patient. I'm happy we found him!

For almost 2 years they’ve been super helpful and caring of my English bulldog. They have great connections with specialist at the AMC in midtown. I love that if it’s a serious condition (like my dog had!) they don’t waste your time or money unless they can actually help, they will immediately refer you and even help you get an appointment with a specialist at the AMC. My dog still gets crazy excited when we walk pass Noah’s Ark, he loves the staff!!

Best vet ever. My cat is awful at the vet, screaming, hissing, grabbing onto walls to get away. Doc checked him over and gave him his shots and examined him without a sound. If you need a vet, go here.

The doctor is super friendly and honest

The best veterinarian ever. He saved my dog’s life, when he was a puppy. I will always be eternally grateful. He is kind and always happy to explain everything throughly. Reminds me of a mix of the dog whisperer and doctor dolittle... because he is that magnificent. Scooby doesn’t shake or get nervous when he visits...I even brought my hamster here many years ago. Thank you Dr. Tello!!!

I've moved around over the years and Noah's Ark is one of my favorite clinics. Kind and approachable staff, very attentive, plus my dog isn't afraid to get his checkup. I'm very happy Noah's Ark is in the neighborhood, keep up the good work.

Over priced on ANYthing. I am going somewhere else to find out the REAL cause to why my cat is sick. I would give negative stars

Dr. Cesar Tello is the best! He’s always been so sweet and caring with my dogs. Very professional and always tries to make my pups feel comfortable. I highly recommend him(: Personally, I’m not too fond of the elder Dr. Tello in general and also, one time he tried to dismiss my dog & I- meanwhile he had had a stroke and I was the one who had to point it out to him.

Dr. Tello provides good, competent care. His prices are commensurate with the market.

Dr. Cesar has been my vet for years. Helped walk us through the process when my old dog got cancer and it burst which meant putting him to sleep. I still take my new dog to the clinic and I had to see his father the elder Dr. Tello. Personally I prefer Dr. Cesar. Also make sure you ask about prices and tests to avoid surprises. Pet care is expensive.

Great Dr. Amazing with pets

Dr. Tello was very sweet with my geriatric cat. Did things only as my kitty got comfy. The assistants very nice n knowledgeable. Convenient location. Didn't do anything that I didn't need done. Great experience. A bit pricey....

I took my cat and they did not look at it and they wanted to charge 700.00 for a blood test. I do not recommend it or a little bit. Sinverguenzas

The staff and doctors really love animals and it shows on how they interact with both pets and owners.

The doctor is a good person very lovely ..just measure they tell you the total before you pay step by step ...they will charge you something extra without u consent ...administration sucks
