They have what you need for your pet and it's usually in and out.

Needed cat litter and some cat wet food in cans - and got what I needed with plenty of choices and some discounts & deals. Checkout was quick, friendly and efficient.

I took Dixie there to be groomed out of sheer desperation because she was really dirty and they could take her right away. Well, what a great experience. Trey, the groomer, was awesome. We discussed what I wanted done before she went in and she came out perfect. There was an issue when he was grooming her and he called me to ask if I wanted something done that we didn't discuss and I totally agreed. He treated my Dixie like she was his own. He called me to let me know that he was drying her so I could come over and pick her up so she wasn't in a cage because she's too big for their cages. When I walked in and saw her she looked so happy she was smiling, her tail was wagging and she didn't want to leave. Trey is amazing. He did a great job with Dixie and we will definitely go back. It's nice when someone treats your dog like it's their own. You can see the pride in his work. Dixie can't wait to go back to see him. ????????

the staff is always friendly and helpful, I can find what i need for both my dogs and my cat. I love the large selection of toys and the cute outfits for my dogs.

I was only in for Betta fish food, however the employee (wearing a dog trainer t shirt) was extremely knowledgable and helpful. I learned a lot.

The store was totally disorganized. It felt dirty. Numerous aisles were blocked with stacks of merchandise and numerous pieces of merchandise were scattered on the floor. I couldn't find my usual brand of dog food nor could I find anyone to ask. Once located, the selection available was very limited. A clearance table had items well past their expiration date (some over a year) marked down only 25%. The carts are too small to hold a large bag of dog food and too high for me to lift a bag into the cart. There was no assistance offered while I was dragging the bag through the store. It was a very poor experience.

I don't know how my numbers ended up at the glen cove store when I wasn't even close and second of all, I don't plan to shop at petco anymore!!! When petco took over the vacation clinics, it went down hill from there. I enjoyed working for the vaccine clinic and I'm glad I left for good!!

Both the manager and assistant manager took much time to discuss an issue I have with my dog. They were so very helpful and caring! They both offered future assistance as well! They were terrific and I will come back if only because of them!

The food I need is there. The staff is polite. The store is always clean and orderly.

Unfortunately Covid disaster has led petco into the twilight zone of low inventory. You can get the basics...but the frills are gone...the halloween dog costumes were terrible. I couldnt find parakeet seed either. So i hope they improve in time.
