Great prices for Neon Tetras, the fish are hardy. Attached picture shows a happy Betta. I would recommend the store incorporate live floating plants to do less water changes. The ones in my picture are Pathos, Pearlweed, Java Moss, Hornwort & Duckweed. Plants you can’t see also include Hygrophila polysperma.

It could look better but they get the job done. I would call ahead to make sure you can get what you need- as they are very Covid-19 conscious. I appreciate their service and will come back when we need to again. Thank you!

The treatment and care of many animals here (like their parrots, hamsters, and other animals) is awful. The enclosures are extremely small with little to no toys and the small mammals are packed into a small 5 gallon tank. Their lorikeet seems to be plucking it’s feathers and the equipment they sell is very overpriced. (A tiny cup sized bowl was around $8) At least the customer service is good enough.

Horrible customer service. Went here with a budget of $200 to purchase some fish because I had recently bought a 70 gallon tank. As soon as I was going to open the door a Asian lady maybe the owner, was at the front door and she asked right away in a rude tone "What do you need" I replied I was wondering if you have sea horses. She said "No we don't have" she immediately closed the door in my face as soon I was going to enter.

Got my puppy from this place in the beginning of this year, within two weeks he passed from parvovirus. This place only returned the cost of the puppy we initially paid for, not one dollar of the $5000 vet expenses we accumulated from trying to save him. When approached the owners were very rude and not at all compassionate they treat puppies only as business. All kept in cages in unsanitary conditions, please do not buy from this place.

I brought my dog from this store. Within a week my dog was very ill and almost died. We had to pay a emergency vet bill of $1,500. They didn’t want to take care of the dog. There is a law that’s states if a pet that was purchased within two weeks falls ill. The store must pay the bills and take care of the pet. They didn’t answer the calls and didn’t want to take care of my pet.

The woman closes the entrance of the store with a dingy cardboard & ask anyone what they need ? If she feels the that a person is not a potential customer, straight away her attitude is " not welcome " we don't have it. DUH !! Makes you feel so awkward.

The male owner is extremely pushy and impatient. He doesn’t like people to play with the puppies and ask many questions. When he finds out the hesitation from the clients, he instantly takes away the dogs to cage and walk away. I love the puppies here and not confident to get a puppy here because I think he would be hard to deal with in after sale...

Decent pet supply shop. Has a lot of PET SUPPLIES for all sorts of pets; (cats, dogs, birds, fish, pond fish, vegetarian bottom dwelling fish, turtles, surprisingly they have some driftwood branches, rabbits, other small mammals, and I honestly don’t know but they have a large variety of pet supplies at the front of the store near the cashier.)Would not recommend for buying pets. It is much cleaner than before(smells better and the floors are clean). Doesn’t have live plants (there’s a section for plastic ones), but they sell crickets. Funny enough, they had a variety of decent flaked fish food that I could not find at Monster Aquarium Inc in smaller containers. I would come here to buy pet supplies again. They also have a lot of well fed assorted guppies if you’re looking for those.

This is what to expect for quality from Northern Aquarium. Besides not answering phone number for half the day when trying to call. And their closing time is incorrect: 5pm not 8pm.

Definitely not a place for fish and aquarium... Go to monster aquarium instead for healthy and 50% cheaper price then this store.... On top of that extremely extremely rude people...

Place looks closed but when you go and read the sign on the front door. It says you need to call ahead to order. I just found it to be a bit complicated. I think it would be better if they did appointments instead because you want to see the fish, puppy or pet before you buy it.

Horrible place to buy pets. Bought five fish for my fish tank they all died off slowly and not even that my healthy fish whom I’ve had over a year died in a matter of a week after I brought those from here. I hate this place. Shut it down now.

Don't know where all these hates coming from but they were very pleasant to work with and we have received our new family member without problem.

this place is absolutely horrifying. the animals are clearly not cared for and the conditions are far from sanitary. the owner is really suspicious, we saw a bunch of kittens in a room and he claimed they were his personal cats and not for sale. odd. the whole store is a safety hazard for both people and animals. it should absolutely be shut down and i think it’s only a matter of time.

This store needs to be shut down ASAP!!! The poor dogs are in the worst condition and they don’t even allow them to get any sunlight because the room they stay in have the windows all boarded up. They are kept in tiny cages and all look very sick. It’s so sad. When I ask about the many cats they keep in one room, they tell me it’s the owners “personal cats” and I think that is very weird. I don’t understand how this place hasn’t been shut down yet. They mistreat animals!

Can’t speak for the puppy mill issues but the overall vibe of the entire store is incredibly nauseating and unfriendly. Came here one afternoon to buy a hamster and the employees refused to provide me with any kind of service, to the point where I had to ask multiple times for someone to take out the one I wanted (even then, the lady rolled her eyes multiple times as if it was a nuisance and whispered to her friends). The only time they willingly help you is when they take your cash. Also can’t stand the fact that they put my hamster in a super large cardboard box without any holes. A customer should not need to beg in order to buy something from a store. Absolutely disgusting “service”.

All fish tanks are in bad conditions. Every single tank has dead fish in it, making the rest of the living fish get rot fins. Unbelievable. The whole store smells like pee. I was there for 20 minutes and my head was already hurting because of the unbearable odor.
