Dr. Gerbino and her team are one of a kind! She treats you like family, takes time to speak with you and is there to answer any questions you might have. Me and my wife recently had to put our 18 year old cat Lucky to sleep and Dr. Gerbino took the time to call us and check in to see how we were doing. She truly cares about you and your fur babies! Once we are ready to get a new member of our family we will 100% be coming back to Dr. Gerbino and her team! Thank you isn't enough to express our gratitude!!

I just went there today for my puppy's first vet appointment and they went above and beyond. I called and left a message and they called me back the same day. They found me an appointment that worked with my tight schedule and the woman who worked the front desk was especially kind. They are doing curbside due to COVID and I was very nervous to not be there with my Nova. Their staff was very friendly and I felt comfortable giving them to her. She came out happier than when she went in! All up to date on shots and she even got a puppy gift bag (which was really such a sweet gesture). I am new to the area and this will definately be our lifetime vet. Thank you guys!

What a delightful experience for a first visit! Dr Brown took so much time to thoroughly go over my new pup and explain everything in detail. He talked out options for care as well as alternatives. I felt completely comfortable and confident the entire time. The girls in the office were an absolute pleasure as well! I absolutely love bringing our puppy Porter here. Having never had a brand new puppy before, all the staff and vets have been so helpful in helping us navigate puppyhood. Our pup sees Dr. G and she is incredible, very down to earth, super patient and always answers all my 1,000 questions each time. Highly recommend!

I love this vet. There is nothing better than team of people who are so passionate about what they do, and show a genuine interest in you and your pet. Dr. Brown and his team are amazing people. If you have a question for them, they will research it and call you back the next day! My puppy had a shot that caused her some pain at the injection site. Without me asking, they put it in the chart, then called me the next time she had a shot to check in on her. I don't know where I would be as a new puppy owner without them!

My German shepherd has special needs, from skin, to leg issues and most recently a tail infection. Dr. Brown has taken a personal interest in Duke from the first day they met 3 years ago - Duke is now 5. Dr. Brown conducted his own research on Duke's leg issues which included his consultations with additional specialists. The time he had, and continues to, dedicate to Duke along with his amazing bedside manner and professionalism are second to none. Thank you again for everything Dr. Brown. God Bless you.

Simply the best, I'll go nowhere else. I've brought my dog here for various ailments from ear infections to TPLO surgery and I've had a positive outcome every time. All staff is friendly and compassionate!

Great, caring doctors and techs. Pleasant office staff. Open a gazillion hours a week. They seem to care for my pets as much as I do. Docs always give you treatment options.

They did not give me confidence that they knew what they were doing. They recommend amputation instead of giving me hope. They never followed up when I called them for a cast change and they don't operate there. It's all done by outsider vets. They maybe nice but if you have a serious health problem with your fur babies go to long island animal surgery in Patchogue instead. They are caring and will do all they can for your fur babies. My dog is recovering and didn't need amputation. I am happy I didn't listen to them or Atlantic coast veterinary hospital!

We have a 5 year old medically fragile lab mix. We used a big local practice for years where the costs were excessive and the care was barely adequate, at best. It was time to move on and Dr. Brown was recommended by several people. Dr. Brown reviewed all of our medical notes and took an interest in our dog. He listened well and was compassionate when discussing the road we were on in caring for our pet. We took a lot of his time and he didn’t make us feel rushed. Since then, he has made intelligent suggestions and honest recommendations. He has researched alternative evaluations for us. He has been easily accessible at times of need. Recently, we needed an appointment for something unexpected and Dr. Cooper was equally as kind, supportive and thorough. The office staff is always friendly and attentive. I need to call often for refills and procedures and they are always available and efficient. Veterinary medicine is generally expensive, but Setauket Animal Hospital is charging us considerably less for our medications and procedures than the last place. The office and examination rooms are consistently immaculate. We have lived in the community for 32 years. We have had many pets (all kinds) during those years and have used several providers. I am confident in saying that this practice offers services and a commitment that exceeds all of my previous experiences.

I have been bringing my two Devon Rex cats to the practice the past 4 years and unfortunately, due to purebred genetics, my cats have faced a host of dynamic health issues ranging from asthma, to poor dentition, and two surgeries. As unfamiliar and scary as these complications were, the staff at East Setauket Animal Hospital did a phenomenal job of reassuring us, educating us, guiding us through our various options, including us in the clinical decision making process and supporting us in our choices. This is one of those rare gems of a business that make you feel like one of the family— and treat you and your pets as their own, and you can feel their authenticity in how they care for you and your fur children. All of the staff members are friendly, passionate, down to earth, professionals who work for one reason only: a palpable, genuine love of animals. With two dogs and a cat we are quite happy to provide a five star review. We have used this office for a number of years and completely trust Dr. Brown and Dr. Cooper. The staff at the front desk and the vet techs are very nice. It’s easy to get an appointment and we are seen in a timely manner. They are so kind and nice to my puppy, but then again who wouldn't. They follow up on how my dog was doing after her vaccines. The location is beautiful, a very peaceful place to be at.

Doctor Cooper and the entire staff at Setauket Animal Hospital were exceptional in their treatment and care for our two boys, Cooper and Jax Bryant.
