Dr Tamke and Lynn were excellent. I had read the reviews but now know for myself they are true. My dog was there for an ultrasound, and my dog Bella was calmer than I have ever seen her at the vet. They are very careful and were sensitive to my concerns. I would highly recommend.

They were great with my little one. She was very nervous going in but calm and happy coming out. Thank you all!

Our pup had calcium buildup and eye ulcers. We were blessed to get an appt within days of referral from our vet. If wait was longer Dr. Mineo was willing to work with our vet to get some relief. Within 2 days our pup was on the mend. Super compassionate and professional staff. Cost for visit was stated up front. Which i truely apprecuated. We are so very lucky to have this great practice in our backyard.

Dr. Stanz is fantastic. She does an excellent job of checking everything and Pippa likes her. We have been taking her there for over 2 years.

The staff is friendly and really cares about your pet. The doctor's are really great at explaining what's going on. It's one year later, and I'm sad to report that one of my dogs passed away. When I called them to let them know, they were so sympathetic. A few days later, a sympathy card arrived in the mail. The doctor wrote a personalized note about my dog and how much she enjoyed him as a patient, and was signed by the entire office staff. It was so nice of them to do.

We've had three visits with our dog and are delighted with the treatment as well as the doctor and staff. Our dog is seen promptly and brought back to us as soon as the exam is finished. Then, the doctor calls and goes over everything in detail, including recommended treatment. We are so lucky to have such a practice in western New York. It's a one and a half hour drive for use, but it's absolutely worth it.

Long wait to get an appointment but visit was well organized and documented, phone chat with Dr Stanz was thorough.

I really don't think the COVID precautions are necessary at this point. Pet owners are completely denied access to the building. Wasn't even allowed to enter the building to use the restroom! I am however pleased with finally getting the proper diagnosis on my pet's eye problem. Relieved he did not require surgery. Within hours after his visit, and first dose of eye drops, his eye looks much better.

Was charged $74.50 for an office visit plus more for testing and medicine, my dog was in the building for 3 minutes. Not sure how a complete eye exam and test can be profomed in that time. And because it's COVID I couldn't accompany my animal to make sure he actually was seen by the doctor.

Saved my dogs vision! Found the reason for his lack of eating.too. our dog is 100 %better.

I was looking for an ophthalmologist for my boxer. I called with a 4 hour radius of Rochester to find care. This practice was so kind and helpful when I called, I am forever grateful. They reassured me and gave me some tips on managing his care. We did get a sooner appointment in Rochester; so, we did not keep our appointment for November. However, on the basis of the kindness of their phone interaction with me, I would recommend them without hesitation and I would also contact if I needed to in the future.

They were able to squeeze me in on an emergency basis for my pup & got him in for surgery the next day! I'm really impressed!

I have never experienced a more professional and compassionate group of people than Dr. Stanz and her staff at Animal Eye Care of WNY. My diabetic dog Copper went from no eye issues to full blown cataracts and blind in three days. My dog watches over me and is with me 24/7. To see him in so much pain and knowing he had no zest for life was devastating, to say the least. It was the most heartbreaking and worrisome situation I have ever been through. I read up and found Dr. Kanz and her staff. I brought Copper in to be evaluated. Dr. Kanz explained everything, answered all our questions and concerns with such professionalism and compassion, it is above and beyond any service I have ever received. Dr. Kanz performed bilateral cataract surgery a week ago today - Copper can now see, is pain free and he can't stop smiling! I will never be able to thank Dr. Kanz and her staff enough for the kindness and care we received, but I hope they know we will be forever grateful. It's a huge relief to know that my dog will continue to receive the best care possible. You have given all of us so much happiness and hope - thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I just had my dog screened for cataract surgery. It is about an hour away but I am pleased with the service and car that I received.

Great place if your pet has eye issues. Dr. Stanz is very caring and fully explains everything to you. The staff are wonderful also!
