I can’t say enough about this company and it’s employees!!! They are some of the most awesome and thoughtful people in this world. I called on Thursday to inform them of my needing their services on Saturday morn as my beloved best friend, Matrix (the most Beautiful Pitbull Terrier in the world????), had taken a turn for the worst and her cancer had had finally taken over her body. Thru my cries and tears they were very consoling and walked me through the process with compassion and sympathy. They were able to give me an appt for Saturday but my beloved passed away on her own late Friday afternoon????. After losing my my mind and freaking out I called Lap of Love as I needed to inform them of what had happened, not needing their services on Saturday and to get their guidance on what to do next as I had never had a loved one pass at home. Once again, they helped me thru my pain and agony and consoled me. They knew that it was ‘Matrix’s mom’ before I had identified myself! It was as if they have known us for years and for that I will be forever greatful to this company and those employees who helped us thru a trying time????????. They gave us the number for the crematory that they worked with and said to give them a call. They said that the crematory would pick up our Matrix’s body and carry on with our plans of a private cremation and the return of her ashes to us. They also informed us that we could keep or appt for Saturday and that the only difference would be that they wouldn’t be putting her to sleep but we would still get her paw print in clay, the taking of her body to the crematory, the private cremation and the return of her ashes. They advised that the former would be more cost effective BUT because these people who had only known us for 2 days were so Awesome and compassionate, we decided to keep our appt with Lap of Love and have them walk us through the rest of this journey. Again, I can’t say enough about these people!!! To Chelsea, Kaitlin and the employee whose name I didn’t get due to me being in an altered state of mind when I had to make the Friday evening call for guidance, I and my family would like to Thank you from the bottom our hearts!???? To Dr. Heather who came and paw printed our babygirl, comforted our other dog while she looked on, comforted my family and I and took our baby to the crematory while caring for her body in the most Respectful way, we Sincerely Thank You!???? I will refer Lap of Love to everyone that I can! May God Bless you all!

Best vet I have been too ever. So much to say but it would be an essay. Long story short this vet really cares about the dogs she sees and makes sure you leave with the knowledge needed to help your dog in the best possible way. So thankful I found an honest vet and will never go anywhere else.

Everyone at Lap of love is kind and caring. Dr Kristine was so patient, gentle and compassionate. We are so glad we used this in home service to help our beloved dog pass. Her last moments were in her own bed with her family surrounding her. Dr Kristine helped us all through this very difficult time. She is an angel.

Making the decision to put my Great Dane to sleep was the hardest decision I have ever had to make but I knew it was time for my girl to cross over the rainbow bridge. Lap of Love was recommended to me by a friend and by our family vet. Once i called i spoke to Kristin the Veterinary Care Coordinator She was sweet, understanding and patient with me as i tried to respond to her questions through my tears. upon arrival Dr. Kristine was amazing. she was friendly, compassionate and professional. You can tell that she actually cares for the families and their pets in this delicate time. I would highly recommend lap of love.

This was one of the most difficult times for our family. Dr Heather came to our house and gently, humanistically and kindly helped us and our dear Sam pass over and become free and at peace. She took as much time as was needed, didn't rush and came within hours of our phone call. God Bless this organization for their wonderful and understanding service.

Dr Miller brought comfort and ease to one of the hardest moments in my life. Saying goodbye is never easy, but having a vet like her, who is kind and compassionate, made the process effortless on my part. I was able to be with my baby and focus on him in his last moments while she made him comfortable. She is an amazing person...wish there were more like her.

Dr. Kristine was highly recommended by a close friend and she was even better than expected. I made the call after our Husky’s oral cancer made it impossible for him to continue living. We have a vet who has taken great care of our two beloved dogs for their entire 14 years. My vet was the first to recommend Lap of Love when Dakota was so intensely stressed and went too crazy to even be touched. It was a hard decision to choose any other doctor besides our vet, but I never regretted choosing Dr. Kristine. Our dog was incredibly calm from the moment she walked into the room, until his last breath. He died in my arms with both of us hysterical at the loss of our baby boy. When Dr. Kristine told us to sit with him for as long as possible, I noticed she was also crying! During the age of COVID-19 I couldn’t imagine someone showing their compassion without touching in some way but we felt her love for our boy & her deep compassion for us every second she was in our home. Here are my only suggestions for the inevitable time our little 14 year old girl will follow her brother: Know that you need to say all your goodbyes BEFORE the Dr sedates your baby bc they’ll be too sedated to respond. We offer our heartfelt gratitude to every single person at Lap of Love who turned our worst day into the day we showed our baby we loved him enough to let him go. The time is approaching we’ll have to say goodbye to our girl and show her the same undying love we showed our boy. I don’t know how we’ll get through it but I know Dr. Kristine will be with us.

Many thanks and utmost appreciation to the staff and Dr. Kristen for their compassion and excellent service. Their at-home end of life care is truly a blessing, and while I hope to not need them again for a very very long time, I would strongly recommend them to anyone who does. If you would like to do your pet the honor of spending their last moments in the comfort and safety of their own home, surrounded by loved ones, Lap of Love is the practice to go with. Thank you again for helping guide my precious boy across the rainbow bridge.

I want to thank Lap of Love services and Dr. Kristen Miller for providing such a loving, comforting, and patient experience for my family and I. This is surely a hard decision to make for anybody but I feel peace in knowing my dog Missy is no longer suffering and in pain. The whole visit was calm, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you so much for having a service like this! Thanks so so so much. My baby went into forever peace in the most peaceful way.

To make the decision to say goodbye to our furbabies is always heartbreaking. With Covid and not being able to be by their side in examinations or end of life is difficult as well. We wanted to ensure that the last moments with our girl was special, private and that she knew that we were there. Dr. Campanelli arrived at our home and was so very compassionate. She answered all questions, gave us time to process the information and let us know that the decision was the correct one. She made our little Cherish comfortable and she passed with us by her side. Dr. Campanelli handled her body with dignity and respect. She looked so peaceful as she had always looked while sleeping wrapped in her special blanket. Thank you for making this hearbreaking decision a little more bearable. We highly recommend Lap of Love. Dr. Campanelli, again, our sincere thanks. We will never forget your compassion.

Letting go of your pet is never an easy decision. Lap of Love helped make this process less stressful for both me, my family, and my pets. Dr. Manfredi was kind, compassionate, and understanding. At home euthanasia was the best option for our family.

For such a sad day putting our beloved Rubi down, Lap of Love made the experience less painful and more accommodating for our family. Rubi was surrounded by her family, in her home, and peacefully passed. Dr. Kristine was patient, loving, compassionate and so understanding about the whole situation. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this service for anyone who has that difficult decision ahead of them. We had Rubi cremated and her ashes were returned to us in a beautiful wooden box with a place for a picture. Thank you for helping us through this sad time.
