Love DPAH. Have been bringing my own pets and foster pets (for rescue) there since 2011. Desk staff, vet techs and vets are all excellent and caring individuals. They always call promptly with test results, etc.I now live over 30 miles away and still drive to DPAH - does that say it all?

The whole staff is fantastic, they make you feel like your pet is their own pet. My family has taken our cats and dogs to DPAH for at least 25 years and we would never think of changing this.

I have been taking my cats to Deer Park Animal Hospital for many years. My mom took our pets there too. They take great care of out pets. Always

We used their services for over 20 years and with multiple pets and they always were very caring.

Professional and caring place for your pet. All the docs and assistants are great.

Absolutely horrible place. Do not take your pet here if you want them to survive. My dog was having a seizure/barely responsive and they are the closest hospital to us so I called them and told them I was bringing him in 2 minutes and gave her his symptoms and the girl on the phone put me on hold and came back about a minute later and said I’m sorry you can’t bring him here because we’re closing soon. They do not care at all for your animals and I will never bring my pet there if they were the last hospital around. They care more about closing and leaving on time than a potentially dying pet with a panicked owner. Absolutely disgusted. We brought him to West Hills Animal Hospital in Huntington and they are the absolute best and in the end I’m thankful we brought our baby there instead. PS. They wrote a response asking me to call so I did right after and was told no one is even around to speak to me. The responses on the reviews are all for show. Such a disappointment.

I've literally never posted a review on the internet before, but if my review saves one animal, I'll be happy. If I could give 0 stars I would. Their incompetence and miscommunication between veterinarians within the practice caused my diabetic dog to go blind. For ten months he was dealing with increasing glucose numbers and Deer Park Animal Hospital did absolutely nothing to fix the problem, keeping him on the same insulin, to which he wasn't responding, which resulted in our dog developing cataracts as a side effect of his diabetes and to lose at least 20 pounds. One of the vets at Deer Park Animal Hospital actually told us that the vets in the office do not communicate with each other and thus the conflicting information we were being told was caused by that. We've switched veterinarians now and with a change of insulin, we're seeing positive results and improving glucose numbers. We'll still have to pay $6,000 for cataract surgery because of the incompetence of Deer Park Animal Hospital, but our dog's health is most important to us. I'm a lawyer and if it wasn't a waste of time, I'd be suing this place for malpractice.

Excellent COVID precautions. You call in when you arrive and park. A vetenary nurse/ assistant will come out and get you and your pet. Only one person can in masked. At the end of the visit you wait in your vehicle with your pet and the billing is done through the phone. Your receipt and updated records at returned to you and you can go on your merry way.

Since Dr. Rosen left, the quality of care my pet has received has been mediocre at best. While I realize they are reorganizing, one doctor misdiagnosed my dog and another kept me waiting over half hour in the car for his appointment. The only thing they have going for them is the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk team. I have been with Deer Park Animal Hospital for over 30 years and now looking for another veterinary practice. I would not recommend them, they lost my trust and confidence.

After going to 2 other Vet office's before Deer Park, I can't say enough how happy we were to find Deer Park Animal Hospital. They are professional, compassionate, kind and caring. Our cat was pretty sick and I called often. I was never rushed off the phone and was always given as much time as needed when I called. Every person I dealt with at the office was helpful and kind. We saw Dr. Morris and she took very good care of our cat. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a vet. I only wish we had started going to them sooner!

Been going to DPAH for almost 40 years. They have always treated my pets & my family with quality care & humanity.

I have an older dog who is experiencing some health issues especially this past year and i feel confident that they are able to take care of my dog with all his medical needs using their own staff or referring me to specialist. I know he is getting the very best care possible. I want to thank them for taking such good care of my dog.

The staff are very professional. They handle my dog so gently & compassionately. Dr. Cindy Meyer is the absolute best!!! Just wish their fees were more competitive.

Lovely and caring staff, super fast response time with lab work information and called back promptly anytime I've called when the Dr. was busy. I'm still worried to death for my dog, Maple, but at least I know that I have a wonderful support team looking out for her.

Just had to put my 15yr old husky to sleep on saturday. I cannot say enough of the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Saturday. My first time there but I will always go back if I ever need a vet.

I've been taking my dogs to DPAH for 30 years and they have been nothing but knowledgeable, caring and companionable. I'm so saddened that Dr. ROSEN & DR GOEDERS have left the practice, but everyone deserves to enjoy retirement while they are still young and fit enough to enjoy it.

The staff at Deer Park Animal Hospital ... vets, vet techs, front desk ... are always kind, compassionate, and professional. We’re on our 4th dog using this practice and wouldn’t ever consider leaving.

My family pets have been with Dr Meyers for many years.. She is a true doctor and loves your pet like you would. Wouldn't want anyone else to care for my family pets. Xxo

Love DPAH. We have been going there since 2001. The staff is warm and caring; the doctors compassionate and very knowledgeable. A really top-notch facility!

I came to DP Animal hospital 11 years ago. My cat was sick and after 3 hospitalizations at another vet I came here. My friend recommended me to go here. It was the best advice I was given! My cat did not have an upper respiratory infection but chondrosarcoma, bone cancer, which is very prevalent in young cats and kittens. She crossed the rainbow bridge a year later. I have had 2 more cats since then and they all come here! The staff are friendly, professional and compassionate. I wish I had found them before my first cat got so sick. Maybe I could have found it earlier....

I have taken my dogs here for the past 10 years or so. They have always been nice . I called them in a panic when my dog had a seizure . They took amazing care of her and me for that matter. Gave me all the information and testing options. Follow up in a very timely manner with the results and options. They handled my dog with such great care. Would highly recommend

I have been going to Deer Park Animal Hospital for 4 years, and they have always treated my pets and myself with respect. 10 months ago I had to say goodbye to my best kitty Gizmo, and the staff was extremely caring and compassionate. Been going for years, it’s ok at best. Last visit they made me wait in the car..pandemic? We are a year in and have a vaccine! Guess what DPAH staff, you’ll have to let people in the building again someday!

phones are always busy. i put an order in for a prescription at chewy suggested by dp animal and my order got refunded because chewy could not contact them, TWICE. iv had to treat my pet 3 times for a parasite and he still has it. iv decided to change my vet now that iv spent so much money here. iv asked for suggestions on food that i was told id be given and it just was overlooked never got anything. it seems that as the company went cooperate and got bought out the service has been downgraded. i will no longer be coming here nor suggesting this facility because of the over crowded parking lot and the phone lines always being busy and my prescription not being approved and again overlooked. overall very unpleased with how the business is being run since new ownership has taken over. iv had multiple friends also have the same experience now that new owner ship has taken over and they no longer would come to this facility as well.
