Colleagues in Commack store are very kind and professional. Our puppy had a wonderful time away from home.

The doggie daycare and hotel staff at this location is great - very friendly, caring and attentive. The place is clean and organized. My 11lb dog loves playing with the other dogs as soon as he gets there, and when I pick him up, he's exhausted. Calling to reserve an overnight there felt like I was booking a stay at a Ritz or Four Seasons. I'm really not exaggerating. I had the call on speaker and my father-in-law initially thought I was booking a hotel stay for my wife and I. You can also add options, like a grooming, which is very convenient. The cost is fair and if you have a coupon, you save a good amount. If you're stuck for a pet sitter or just want to give your dog a few hours of playtime, give them a try.

I can’t say enough good things about Sam at the Petsmart in Commack. Working with Sam has been the best experience for myself and my golden, Hank. Sam was attentive to finding the perfect grooming time for us. She was detailed in asking what kind of cut I wanted for Hank. When I picked him up, I couldn’t believe how amazing he looked. She is amazing, and so caring for these animals! Can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, thank you!!

We bought a fish with accessories. Nice place. Kids were happy!

Took my dog to be groomed for the second time. After 5 hours I went to pick him up, hasn’t even started cutting his hair. If you ever need a pet sitter, get your dog groomed here. At 5/6 hours you’re not running late, you are OVERBOOKED!!! Greed never wins!

If you're looking for a new dog toy selection, call ahead to see if they're fully stocked. They have more toys suited for rabbits and guinea pigs than hamsters, also sadly still critter trails but you can only ask for so much. They do know quite a bit about fresh water fish. I find the more tattooed the more information they have on animals, just a heads up. If the suggest Hills, or crittertrails, or a 20 gal tank for a goldfish, they are just trying to sell products. Dog training, ask for Kelly. She's amazing and knows her stuff when it comes to dogs. Fantastic.

Not the best reptile food selection but besides that it's a great store

I used to work here, and as a place of employment I genuinely liked this place. There was one time when I was being admitted to the hospital and my supervisor asked if I’d found coverage for my shift…. Anyways, I’m writing this review as a recent adopter of on the the cats from the PetSmart Charities adoption partner, Golden Paw Society. This location had almost everything I needed to make a suitable home for my new cat, and the prices weren’t too bad. The ID tag machine seems to be perpetually out of order. I was also disappointed with the “coupons” that they offer adopting pet parents. I saved a whopping $6 on over $150 of merchandise. You’d think a giant corporation could do a lot better for their charities. Overall, it’s a clean store with helpful employees, but don’t expect much of a discount if you’re adopting a pet.

Pet smart is great place to shop for pets and pet supplies

This is the best doggie day camp and hotel! I have been taking my dogs here for years and know they are in good care. The staff is caring and genuinely care about all the dogs.

I used the Banfield Veterinary service for a dental check up on my dog. Everything went smoothly. They sent me an email with paperwork to fill out & bring when dropping my dog off. Then they proceeded to ask me all the same questions at drop off. Very redundant.

IF I COULD HAVE GOTTEN HERE WITHOUT GIVING STARS I WOULD HAVE...I BOUGHT MY VERY HEALTHY CAT TO GET SHAVED AND SHE USED DRITY CLIPPERS AND GAVE HER RINGWORM AND MY POOR CAT GAVE IT TO ME. I WILL NEVER I MEAN NEVER EVER BRING MY CAT BACK THERE NOW I HAVE TO PAY LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO THE VET TO GET HER HEALTHY AGAIN. THIS PLACE SUCKS

Love this place, some staff members have attitude problems but for the most part the doctors an staff take great care of your pets! They spayed my "Sheena" an she doing good.

Needed rabbit food... They had it in stock, along with most about anything else a pretty owner needs... We'll stocked... helpful staff... In and out... Easy shopping trip

I can’t say enough good things about the Kelly the dog trainer at the Petsmart in Commack, New York. She is the best! The dogs respond to her. She always has helpful suggestions and she has so much knowledge about dogs in general. She seems to know a lot about our breed which is a hound. She is warm and patient and very professional. We were not disappointed. Our dog has gained so much by being in her class. We are seriously going to miss her and the training sessions when they end.

Terrible dog trainers. The dog trainers need to be fired or learn how to actually train dogs. I went to one class and it was the worst experience I ever had I can safely say i won’t be going back or recommending this location to anyone

Great set up. Good customer service. Ample selection of cat food, litter and supplies. Clean humane cat adoption center. They also price match. I favour that store among pet store chains.
