They were absolutely amazing, had my dog spayed here. Very through and made sure she had all her shots, very reasonably priced ($372) for the entire procedure with medication and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend island rescue for their services and support after the surgery.

Best in terms of service and price. Covid protocols still in place means long wait times if you show up on an emergency basis but they are quick and efficient when they get to you.

I had two cats neutered there. Also vaccinated and chipped. Reasonably priced. Cats are doing well.

This has been my primary veterinary care for the past 12 years and I have no plans on changing. The doctors are caring, attentive, and very good about explaining all options of your pets health care (not like some places who just want to always jump right to surgery). If your pet needs surgery they will tell you to do surgery if there are other options they explain those as well and actually explain what things mean for both you and your pet. They try to make things lighter on your wallet than most vet offices do which is great, but not at the expense of your animal. They do get very busy, they do book far in advance, you will find yourself on hold for a while when you call but thats the cost of keeping the prices low.

Very nice people and they took great care of our little Barney! I recommend them very highly! We just took Oliver our recent rescue lab mix puppy for neutering. They have done another excellent job, no bleeding, no discharge, he really is not bothering his incision site, using a recovery vest no cone. Swelling is subsiding nicely! If you need your pet spayed or neutered IMHO they are just wonderful. Dr. also answered all of my questions and concerns...IN DETAIL...no here's ur hat, ur coat and don't let the door...stuff just dedicated people. Thank You Island Rescue. T. Ward

Just took my puppy for a spay. The vet did a wonderful job, there weren’t any redness nor swelling and you can barely see the incision! The staff were very professional in explaining to me the procedure and post op care. Not just professional, but with love and care. She’s a Mal-Shi. Weighting at 11 lbs. total price paid including wellness check, distemper vaccine, cone, anti-inflammatory medicine and calm medicine was less than $350. Thank you!

We took our cat there on Tuesday 8/10/21 as a walk in and they were very good with keeping in touch by Phone, we only waited 1 hour and we had to bring him in. A short time after we got a call back from Dr. Sarah Diprete who gave him a shot for the pain and left a message for a Dr. Daniel Carmichael at VMCLI ! Our cat has a tumor in his mouth and needs surgery!Anyway we had a very good experience there years ago and that is why we went back again.Highly Recommend them. Made an appointment for his surgery for 8/16/21

My 130# EM was spayed in July. From the 1st time I called this office they were kind, understanding & professional. Her surgery went really well and I was impressed w the patience of the staff as they dealt with a line of people & multiple emergencies in the short time I was there. I am very lucky to have found them as I am a new EM owner & I called a lot of vets which either wouldn’t see my dog or were just not affordable for me. If you are in need of affordable vet care I highly recommend. The staff is amazing! And the drs are caring and have always been professional, informative and empathetic.

They were able to take my dog in as a walk-in. Although we waited in the car for an extended period of time to be seen, it’s understandable as I didn’t have an appointment (waited a little over an hour). But once they were ready for my dog, the vet called to discuss what issues he was having and then the vet tech took him in. After the exam, the vet called back to thoroughly go over everything and my options for medication, testing, etc. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

Great prices, the staff is very nice however, this office is almost impossible to get a hold of. They don't answer the phone. When it comes to dropping off your dog (since you're not allowed inside) they have you call a # on the the door to let them know you're there but they don't answer that phone either.

I have been coming here for years. They are extremely reasonable with prices for their service. All of the veterinarians who work here are very thorough, kind and caring when taking care of your fur baby. The rest of the staff are very friendly as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone! You won't be disappointed with them. I know for myself, I've never been!

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would! I was a customer for almost 9 years, going there every 4-6 weeks! Over the last year and half this place has changed staff and it’s for the worst !!! These new vet techs can not control any dog so therefore result in choking my 55 lb pound, returning him to the point of gagging and hacking from being choked! This is unacceptable to treat any animal! Also they failed to read my dogs chart when he was overdue for his heart worm testing! He was there 3x since and not one person could mention this to me! The lack of care and treatment here Has gone to SH!T in plain English!

There are very gentle with your animal and very caring. The price is reasonable.

I’ve been coming here for a long time but the issue is there landline. Whenever id call they either never pick up, it goes straight to voicemail, or it says their close when it open. And when I do show up I’m there longer than I should be. For a place that’s great with pets, they are unorganized

I’ve been here several times over the years and always an issue .. it’s just a cost effective and local option for spay/neuter but today is the last time ... I made an appointment as requested, once we arrived waited in 28 degrees and snowing for over an hour .. I had 2 feral cats , she starts asking about proof of vaccination which I specifically asked if I should bring anything and was told “NO”. Then asking if I can call or get them now.. no they were done at Vetco, it’s a Saturday and it’s all listed online there is no one to call. Had I known I would have just brought them .. after I waited and hour you want me to go home and come back? No. Incredibly slow, no effort to get the animals in quickly or pickup the pace at all... really disappointing. Oh then as I’m finally running back to my car someone starts yelling about “Which type of card did you pay with “ the girl took my card 4 mins prior .. idk what goes on at these places but I actually feel guilty leaving these 2 cats with them..do not recommend
