Great place to bring your beloved pets

I have brought my two cats Myla, and Holly to this Vet a handful of times now. Not once was the staff unprofessional, not once were they NOT knowledgeable, or friendly. They always take time to address any concerns, or comments I may have. I never feel rushed. The facility is amazing, and with a swift, and safe check in process, I would not recommend anywhere else!

Incredible experiences with them and my senior cat that’s currently dealing with kidney failure. The staff is so empathetic and patient, very affordable services as well.

This is a new vet for me and they treated my fur baby so good I think I found a new vet

You call your business an "Animal Hospital", but when you need help for your sick pet, you have to be a former or current client. "Not taking new patients now". But the person who answered my call was nice and sympathic and seems to feel sad that she couldn't help me.

Ive gone through Cayuga veterinary services for years. I've got a big hefty old boy of a cat and he needs some special attention. Dr. Otteson is fantastic. Very personable. Friendly staff and usually open to my needs whenever an emergency occurs. They've added years to my buddy's life without being incredibly invasive and you can't put a price on that... But they do ???? but don't worry, they're affordable! Well below national average on many services.

Had a different Dr this time and wasn't impressed. I wanted a new prescription for my dogs eye drops because she has dry eye syndrome was told to check to see if I had refills left first at pharmacy well ok I called there pharmacy and she had refills left but we told they couldn't mix the drops for me because that part of there facility was inoperable at the time due to damage from flooding told to call my vet back for prescription for another pharmacy so I did was told by Dr. Let's go without giving then to her for now and see how she does. This is unacceptable beings the Dr that had diagnosed and first started the drops said it was extremely important to give her the drops the rest of her life, or my baby dog would very likely go blind. Needless to say I won't be taking my baby girl back to that vet again I fired her, but will be Still going to that practice to see her original Dr, atleast he's not to lazy or incompetent to write a script and he has my dogs best interests at heart.

I’m an honestly begging you please find another vet. I’m not saying everyone is like this here but I’ve never felt such a cold feeling coming from a person in my life. Please find another place to bring your pet. They WILL take advantage of you anxiety and grief about your pet and rack up a multiple thousands of dollars on your bill. Please look into other options to bring options I am begging you.

Our new Baby Chleo had her first visit with Cayuga Veterinary in June. She was a little hesitant going in but once inside she was very relaxed. She absolutely adored the staff. They made her and myself comfortable. We look forward to our future visits.

I brought home my puppy about 3 weeks ago. I was looking for a new vet for him and decided to try Cayuga Vet. I was not disappointed! They were very accommodating and were able to schedule an appointment in time so he didn’t need to start his boosters all over. I never took Chance to the vet before but I knew it wouldn’t be easy. He can be such a fearful dog around unfamiliar things (barking, submissive urination.) The vet and staff were very understanding and accommodating to me and my boy! They put themselves in his shoes and were so good to him. They talked to me like a person and had great communication with me the entire time. They explained to me that their office is a fear certified office and it clearly shows. My boy was able to get a through exam without being scared to death. They talked to me about training and offered various supports to help my boy. Prices were fair. I love the online Rx ordering. After a fecal exam Chance needed medication. It was super easy to order and have shipped to my house. Such an awesome feature with having a puppy and 2 young children at home! Just such an awesome experience!

I had to put down my best friend today. I made the call and they told me to come right in. They were very professional and compassionate during the process.

Great place, great people. Fair pricing. Your not paying for someone to just kiss your dogs but in front of you like other places for an outrageous rate.

Dr.Megan is a very empathetic and kind vet.

I bring two dogs and a cat to this location and will most likely be going somewhere else. The vet is great and has a thorough conversation about your pet after every visit. However the last several times I have been there they are WAYYYY overbooked. I can’t even get in the parking lot, let alone get anyone to answer my phone calls or text messages that I have arrived. The last time I went there I waited over 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone/text back acknowledging that I was there and I left before they decided to call me back. They are very expensive which I don’t mind because I care about my pets, but to have this poor of service and expect double what my friends pay at other offices is not acceptable. I work in healthcare and I know there are waits and people get behind but not even being able to acknowledge that your patient is there (yes I know these are covid times but still) is not acceptable. I would not write a review like this if this was just a one time experience.

I was very happy with the service. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable.

They care about pets and people too. They also do a great job in caring for your pet. The whole staff are TOPS!

They are compassionate, good with beloved four leged furry companions.

Dr. Dale is a wonderful veterinarian, he has taken great care of my dogs. He's a great surgeon, caring and compassionate. He's the only one I want to take care of my dogs. I however have had 2 bad experiences with Dr. Ekell

Our hound mix had to have 2 ACL surgeries. Dr Dale fixed him up fantastic. The professional staff and Vet Technicians made it easier for my big scared mutt to get through this not once , but twice. Thank you! We love you!

All of our dogs have been taken here. That goes back about 30 plus year and now my little girl, Gianna! Great all around service and that makes it a good experience. I highly recommend choosing Cayuga Veterinary Services. 5 Stars!!????

First time at this Vet and first time with a new kitten. Due to the virus the Tech takes the cat into the office and the owner waits in the car. That was very hard - to not go in with her. The Vet called twice and spoke to me during the exam so communication was excellent. Everything went smoothly.

They we're a little backed up today... But my cat received a good bill of health...it was worth the wait to hear that good news.

My first time taking my Baby to the vet. My first visit, but certainly not my last, to this office. The staff was so nice and took great care of my cat. The doctor was very personable and explained everything perfectly. I would highly recommend Cayuga Veterinary Services. Thank you guys!

Had some concerns about dog and as we are leaving soon on vacation wanted her checked out. They listened to me, checked out my issues and relieved my concerns. Everyone from the front desk, to the techs, to the vet are amazing!

We love Cayuga Veterinary Services! Great and caring staff, awesome doctors who take the time to thoroughly explain what your pet needs, fair prices. Our dog isn't always a fan of her trips to the vet, but their compassion and concern have brought her around. She is much less nervous than ever before! After struggling for years to find a great place for our pet care, we are home! Highly recommended!

They have been our canine vet of choice, best surgeon anywhere. Dr Megan is compassionate & informative.
