We love Camp Bow Wow. The staff are always friendly and professional. The reservation system is easy and responses are very timely. Pepper is always happy to go to Camp and I love being able to check in on her through the camper cams. We've been going to Camp Bow Wow in Albany for years and will continue to do so!

Recently boarded my dog with camp bow wow for a week while we were out of town. Overall I’m pleased with the experience. I liked that I could watch the cameras to check on him during the day and he seems happy while there. Only complaint I had was he smelled horrible when I got him in the car to the point I took him right to our groomer to be washed and his bed that I sent was smelly and soaking wet so I threw it out because it was dripping with something. Overall would board him again but would not send his home bed as they do provide a bed for him to use while there.

I was excited about the good reviews and wanted to use them as a back up boarding when my regular sitter was unavailable. I work 12 to 13 hours a day and hate the thought of my dog being bored at home all day. Initially they seemed great. But then I found out they put the dogs in their cabins at 645pm and don't take them out until 630am...no staff stays over night. I thought at first well at least he'll be tired from playing all day so maybe it'll be fine. I checked the camera randomly one day and he wasn't anywhere. I called and they said "we are feeding him, we feed boarders from 4pm to 530pm and then let him out to play until bedtime." So again I accepted their explanation. Next day I check the camera at 3pm. Again puppy is no where, so I call. They explain "he's taking a 1 hour nap". So in summary he's put away for 12 hours at night, 3 hours total for breakfast and dinner and now a 1 hour nap. If I was ok with leaving him by himself for 16 hours I wouldn't need a place to board him. Oh and I forgot to mention his toys have been soaked in urine every time when I pick him up. He wouldn't pee on his toys unless he didn't have a choice...Final straw

Great! Madi made things really easy, and answered our questions quickly when we were going on vacation and needed a place for our dog! We will definitely use their services again for our dog!

For anyone thinking of taking your dog here, or who ALREADY takes your dog here, I would highly recommend monitoring the live web cam throughout the entire day that they're there. I took my dog a while back when I had first gotten him-- the previous owner had said he lived with other dogs and was friendly towards them, and I didn't want him to be alone and sad throughout the day while I was at work. You would think Camp Bow Wow would be the perfect place to send him then, right? He passed the 'interview' process and seemed to get along just fine with all of the doggies in there. I watched him have fun and socialize on the live cam while in the office, and more throughout that day, until picking him up. I then purchased a package that came with a few days in it, so he could further enjoy himself. However, one day when I took him, I noticed he was not in the room with the dogs. I thought 'Okay , maybe he was playing a little too rough and they separated him?', but while the minutes ticked by, I became frustrated and worried. After about a half hour passed, I got fed up and called them. Their response was that my dog was "playing too rough and they had to take him out". They explained that, when they do that, they put them in a cage by themselves and wait for them to cool off. Still, after the phone call, I waited another several minutes before they brought him back in. It then happened again IN THAT SAME DAY. I notice my dog is gone and I wait. This time, over an hour passes and I again call them. Same response, and same delayed time in them introducing him back in with the other dogs. When I first went to pay for Camp Bow wow, I was told that if a dog needed to be separated, it would only be for a few minutes. But for over an HOUR? Unacceptable! They should have called me if there was a problem. I would have happily came and picked him up and saved him from spending time alone in a (very loud) kennel. I didn't pay that much money for my dog to sit in a cage by himself, surrounded by other barking dogs on all sides of him. I've seen the cages while there, and it's not somewhere I'd pay to send my dog to all day. My theory is they simply didn't want to tell me in hopes that I'd pay for more days to send my dog there for. Too bad for them, I actually had the live cam up on a corner of my screen throughout the entire time he was there. Makes me wonder what other dogs they've done this for, or are currently doing this to, and simply don't inform the owners about.

These people know how to treat a dog! My husband and I can tell that they really care about taking good care of our dog, Lucy. The "interview" process is easy and they keep your dog for a few hours so you actually get a few hours of free daycare! The space is nice and it's clean. We felt comfortable leaving Lucy for a weekend and knowing we can leave her in their capable hands for longer, if we need to, makes us feel great!

We love how you take care of our girl. She is always so happy to go into camp and she just recently boarded for the first time with you. It was so nice to have the ability to see her while we were out of town and the texted pictures of her at Snuggle Time were amazing.

Clean, neat, and very professional, as well as friendly and cooperative. But what I like most is that my dog is treated as a personal pet of everyone there, with kindness and loving attention just as if Camp Bow Wow were home. I can't think of anything more a pet parent could want.

While in the Albany area for work I brought my Chihuahua to day care. He seemed to have a great time with the counselors and other dogs. I really like the fact that they have cameras that clients can check whenever they want. The front desk staff are friendly, and the weekday hours are convenient.

My dog York loves this place, he always grabs his leash from me and can't wait to go in the back to play with the other doggies. Can watch your dog play on the cameras.

I have visited this location a couple of times and each time everything was great. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. I am sure my dog (Marmaduke) has a lot of good things to say about this place too, but he does not yet know how to type ;)

We were so impressed by the staff and the facilities at Camp Bow Wow! They were friendly, professional and so sweet with our dog Bella. She boarded there for 9 days, and we were able to see her on the live cams throughout her stay. She was more relaxed and playful than she’s ever been while boarding, and they sent us a great update (with photos) about halfway through her stay. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Always friendly and my dog comes back happy. Nice being able to watch on the live feed if I get curious. Reasonable pricing for boarding which is nice, considering the dog is not locked up all day.

My dog Kali just started going to camp and she absolutely loves it! The camp counselors are wonderful and they really love and care for all the animals that come through the door. Kali now has so many friends and I can't thank Camp Bow Wow enough for providing such a wonderful social place for her!!

Riley had a great time on his mini vacation. He was boarded for a week. He had so many new friends to play with who were the same size as he was. There was constant monitoring by a staff member. His medications were administered, he was fed, he was allowed nap time and the freedom to go outside to play or play inside. We were delighted that we could watch his activity any time we wanted via web cam. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for taking such good care of Riley.
