Good but staff can be really rude

We had a 1030 appointment scheduled over a month in advance. We showed up for the appointment was were advised by the receptionist that they will be with us shortly. Another guest came in and was assisted. I walked up again to see if we were checked in, and yet again advised they will be with us shortly. I walked up a 3rd time and was asked how long we had been waiting. They advised us that they could not see our pets today since they only had 5 mins left in their appointment. If you care about your pets take them else where. This place is now to big to care for the pets and cant keep schedules!! I will also tell all my friends, family and neighbors to go else where.

Modern, well kept facility. Friendly, efficient staff. Very much liked Dr. Gonzales. She spent a lot of time with us, patiently answering questions. All in all quite pleased ????

My tripod tore his ACL and received wonderful care. Before, during, and after his TPLO surgery. He has not been hesitant about going back and he loves the staff there. They are super friendly , very knowledgeable, and very detailed. Thank you so much Gruda Vet.

Dr. Gruda and his entire team provided incredible care and support to our dog and us as we worked through a challenging ordeal. They communicated clearly at each step, from diagnosis to treatment options and went out of their way multiple times to make sure our dog received the best possible outcome. We highly recommend and appreciate them.

Their customer service is absolute trash. I need to update two vaccines for my dog. That's it. Just two shots and take my money. The vaccines are so I can board my dog for Christmas travel. My dog has been a client of theirs to the point where I've taken him for four appointments in about 14 months. And they said they can't "examine" him to give him two vaccines until January of 2022. No "I can put you on a waiting list" no "I can call you if there is a cancellation" nothing. Just "sorry charlie." She didn't even say sorry actually. For something as EASY as two vaccines, I'm finished with Gruda.

If there was 10 stars I'd give them 10. Dr. Gruda is amazing and the staff is incredible. This was an incredible experience. Thank you Dr. Gruda.

I told them what I thought it was and all they did was agree take her temperature and ask for payment. All these places do is want money. Not worth 75 dollars. Sincerely in the rudest way possible ????

Excellent clinicians in various modalities of nonhuman wellness and treatment. A modern clinic using the newest equipment and techniques, resulting in accurate diagnostics and exceptional surgical outcomes. Dr. Gruda is the lead surgeon who knows his abilities and loves what he does. I would recommend this clinic without hesitation, although the services there may cost a bit more than other clinics in town.

I just wish they or any veterinarians had an emergency service. My dog might be alive today.

The BEST pet care we've had before. Our dog needed major surgery and they loved on her and kept her comfortable. They were great about the phone and updating worried Mom throughout her stay at the hospital as well. I would drive an hour to see him any time we needed urgent medical care for our furry family members.

Extremely rude and snotty when I received a call back. Will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Best place in Santa Fe. Staff is amazing with the pets

Just called in to ask if I could bring my two dogs in for care as new patients. Actually, I called once before and no one picked up my call so I called back. First, I checked their website and nowhere on it did I see any notice that they are not taking new patients. The person I just spoke to was extremely rude. She seems to only be able to say NO. No suggestions on who else I might try, no waiting list I might get put on, no nothing, except rudeness. I guess if you don't want anymore customers having that person be the one who greets callers is a good way to go about it. I get that businesses are having trouble operating in the current state of things but a kind word or two would go a long way. As I type this I'm glad I'm not taking my dogs there. If this is how they treat people I can only imagine how they would treat my dogs.

Dr. Suzanne Jones at Gruda Vet saved my best friend’s life. My dog Lexi was very ill with autoimmune hemolytic anemia and Dr. Jones took such good care of her, Lexi has made a miraculous recovery and I believe I still have her because I was with a great vet. She even trimmed her nails when they got long! She is caring and kind and I couldn’t recommend her more.

The staff there is very cordial and quite efficient and the doctors seem to get along well with my pet

We were very disappointed in the uncaring way that Dr Gruda neglected to return many request for a phone conversation . Our Chihuahua need both legs surgically repaired. We wanted some more questions answered before surgery and finally we were told by staff that the Dr. Is too busy to return calls. We will not have our pet treated by some one who is too busy to return a call

We have been going there for two years

Love this place! Will only take my pups here from now on. They truly care and their customer service is excellent!

They are the best in town for pet's needs. I feel like they truly care about your pets life. My pets go there for routine care but I've had a couple of emergencies with things my dog ate that he wasn't supposed to. Truly kind, and explain procedures and costs and keep you informed the whole time your pet in in their care.

Not taking new patients, don't bother calling.

Excellent, alert, and caring staff, capably led by Dr. Gruda. Highly recommended!

They can be spendy. But they are professionals and even staff your pet 24 hours of care depending on the severity of the issue. We have never had any issues taking any of our pets for decades to Gruda. Bella our dog now gets excited if I say "do you want to go see Gruda." That should be a five star rating alone.
