The people at Cedarwood are WONDERFUL. My sweet dog, Harry, had been traumatized at a different clinic. It made any kind of visit or need for care stressful and anxiety filled for me and Harry. I explained the situation to the staff at Cedarwood, hoping that Harry could start fresh with a new and better experience. The staff were so sweet and gentle and patient.....and Harry was relaxed and happy after our "meet and greet" visit. I’ve been taking my senior cat to Cedarwood only over the past year. This is the first time I was able to go inside and actually meet with the team in person. Dr. Terry is the only vet there at the moment so unfortunately the appointment wait list is long- despite obviously being very busy he was caring, professional, and thorough. He addressed all of my questions about my cat and didn’t make me feel rushed or anything.

Very thorough, friendly, on time and talked to my cat like she was their own.

Each time I have gone, whether with my dog or just to pick up meds, the techs and receptionists have been so kind, genuine. and helpful. My elderly dog Dusty and I are grateful!

For being basically the secondary choice in Santa Fe for veterinarian clinic this place is pretty clean it's very small and still expensive even for Santa Fe the wait list for procedures is pretty long but when you do get in there they treat your animals with respect your pocketbook on the other hand no bueno, the front staff should be a whole lot more courteous and kind when you have a issue at hand with your pet but they all pretty much just sit around doing as little as possible letting the phone ring and ring and ring until finally answering with a very rude tone of voice as though whoever is on the other line is bothering or inconveniencing them. So with that being said we'll continue to be second choice in my book.

I live in a small city where, early on during the Pandemic last spring, our overnight emergency veterinary business closed. I have an older dog and have been so worried. Dr. Terry and his staff, operating under difficult conditions, were so helpful in having my beloved dog seen and treated. The doctor personally followed with a call. It was a marvelous experience despite the stress.

I’ve been taking my dog to Cedarwood for a few months now and found their services to be amazing. The wait time for appointments is very short and all the staff are great at what they do. Dr Terry really cares about his patients and it shows with every visit I’ve had here. I don’t feel pressured like I have by other vet clinics here in Santa Fe for what seems to be unnecessarily treatments or tests for my pet. To be able to drop off my dog for the day when needed and be informed though out her visit on how she is doing and what she needs when it comes to her health is so great. I know when I take my four legged friend, they are in great hands and couldn’t recommend Cederwood more, for they do an amazing job.

This place is ridiculously overpriced. They charge almost twice what other well-reviewed vets in the area charge. They also don’t provide accurate estimates until you arrive, at which point they add dozens of small charges. I would avoid this and all “chain” vet operations and find somebody local and independent instead.

Right now for some reason the ability to get your pet cared for is very difficult. Cedarwood was very accommodating in this aspect. They allowed me to stay with my pet of the visit and took very good care of our furry family member. thank you for the great service.

Cedarwood has been very generous! One of my cats had an open wound and started behaving strangely, which led me into a panic mode and I called three different veterinaries to see if they would take him in. One veterinary was overwhelmed with traffic, and the other one hung up on me. Cedarwood was very responsive - even though they were booked for the day, they still made some time for my cat to come in and have his shots and his wound cleaned. I cannot express how thrilled I was when they took him quickly. Forever grateful. Polite and nice workers and the doctor was very thorough with my cat's diagnosis. I would recommend Cedarwood 100%! Second review: One of my other cats started bleeding from the head, and Cedarwood still welcomed his emergenct visit on the same day. They have always been accommodating, accessible, and responsive. I dropped off my cat around 9:30 in the morning and they were able to clean the wound, do a blood lab test run, and keep him on antibiotics until I was ready to pick him up at 3:30 that afternoon. Quick and 100% reliable!

Great staff, always very accommodating and kind. They fit me in same day and was able to see my pup within an hour. Great vet!

This practice responded to my need for help with my cat & agreed to see her although they are very busy. The receptionist & Becky the tech & Dr Terry were warm, encouraging & professional. I will take my cat there again & will recommend the practice.

My dog had some diarrhea so we took her in. $800 later, they said it was nothing but just a case of diarrhea. Now 2 weeks out, she still has diarrhea. In response to the comments made by the owner: we called and told them our complaints. We were told that a manager would call us back and we never heard back from them.
