My Golden was sick with severe gastrointestinal sickness. Polly rushed over and spent over an hour assessing him and administering meds to bring him comfort and allow him to sleep through the night. She took blood to determine the underlying cause. I cannot say enough hallelujahs or shout enough praises for her professionalism and the time she took to understand what was happening and to help him. She even took time to talk with us and give us professional advise for our dog who has epilepsy. Thank you Polly! You are absolutely AMAZING!!!!

Old lady I spoke to was very rude to I'll refer to her as that. She spoke over me. Didn't let me explain my situation. I mean if you're stressed and cannot listen. Then stay home and don't try to help the public. Sooooo effing irritated!!! Thanks for nothing.

Polly gave us advice on an emergency situation involving our dog after-hours on a holiday weekend via text and we are grateful for that help when we could not find any clinic willing to help us within a 3 hour radius of Pagosa Springs.

Polly is one of if not the best Vet I have ever used. Every emergency I have had, she was right there 24/7. I would recommend her highly and her and her husband both have the best “bedside manner” for animals I have every seen. Very caring. She is the best in town.

This astounding couple work together with true compassion and sincere interest for both animals and the animals' owners. I have been fortunate to have had their assistance through many emergencies over the past ten years. Through their careful coaching, guidance and directions I've also been able to stabilize my cat's diabetes. I recommend the High Peaks Mobile vet team to anyone who needs professional animal care and compassionate support.

Words can’t even begin to express what an amazing veterinarian Polly is and every one of her staff are incredibly kind. Their compassion for animals is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had the pleasure of working with high peaks for several years now and they are always spot on for not only diagnosis but in treatment also. Certainly makes me wish Polly was my primary care physician!

Polly from High Peaks has been caring for our pets for years. Trust me, she’s amazing! I can't cover how great she is in a simple review. Her kindness and compassion are unlike anything you find in most humans these days. Her knowledge is astounding. And yet she is still absolutely affordable, especially for coming to your home so you don’t have to listen to a howling cat for 30 minutes only to get your eyes scratched out for a simple check up. I’d pay a ton to avoid driving with my screaming cat or my puking dog! ???? And on those tough, inevitable days that happen with fur babies, her kindness and sincere compassion made all the difference as she offered support and spent a lot of time with us. Honestly thankful to have High Peaks Vet around!

Polly was amazing with the kitty we were pet-sitting. He hurt his foot (his is an indoor/outdoor cat) while he was outside & developed a fever, became lethargic and the wound became swollen. We let Polly's receptionist know what was going on and she was able to come to my home and help the cat feel much better at a reasonable fee just a few short hours after we contacted her (I had to meet her after I got off work). She was also very gentle with him and made the procedure as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend her!

After not being able to receive a firm diagnosis from another veterinarian in Pagosa, I contacted High Peaks for a second opinion. I explained that my dog was experiencing constant muscle twitches, runny eyes, and a cough. They told me they would not inspect my dog because they were too busy and that my case was not an emergency. Again, they insisted that my case was not an emergency. In spite of being vaccinated, my dog passed away a little over a week later from distemper. I do not know what constitutes an "emergency" in Pagosa, but I would think a highly contagious and often fatal viral disease would rank somewhere at the top of the list.

AMAZING! Polly and Dave were wonderful. My dog is very anxious and needed veterinary care. High Peaks went above and beyond the call of duty. They checked back several times and were wonderful with my dog. I give them the highest recommendation possible!
