Had a very good session of training. I love the way Karen teaches her classes. Had a good response from my dog with this trainer.

We have had two dogs go through multiple classes each, weekly daycare visits, the occasional grooming, and boarding a few times of year, and we have had the most fantastic experience with Karen, JR, and the rest of the team. Because of all this we have two well-trained, sociable, and happy pups. We would recommend Karen's for every service they offer, and we can't wait to go back for the next round of classes.

We just finished our puppy class tonight and Karen was amazing! Every class she asks for any new issues anyone is having and gives tips on how to correct the problem. I did a puppy class at PetSmart a few years ago and the trainers are usually collage age students that have been sent to a class to be a "trainer". Not only is Karen's animal house competitive in their pricing you are getting a real dog trainer with years of experience. Just as kids get homework from school you will have homework during the week as well. Keep in mind the more you do the homework the better your dog does in class. A dog can't be trained in a 1 hour class once a week. You have to be ready to put in the work at home. Karen is very helpful in all your questions and willing to help. If your dog is in that rebellious stage she will show you how to teach them manners and put an end to bad behavior. As a vet tech of 9 years I can't help but wish everyone would do a basic puppy or obedience class with their dog. I could see major changes in some classmates week by week. Enrolling your pet in classes will give them the socialization and confidence they need to be a well behaved pet capable of going in public without misbehaving not to mention it will greatly help when going to the vet or groomers. We can't wait for our next class at Karen's animal house!

Karen's Animal House is very professional & clean. I love my doggy's new groomer. She gets him out within two hours which is a HUGE plus for me!

I’m very happy with KAH! All employees are so friendly and helpful! I’m wheelchair bound so they come out to my vehicle when I drop off or pick up my pup. I’m so appreciative of them and the day care service! I highly recommend!

I take my dog Jody there for daycare. She is very excited when we pull up. The staff is very nice and professional.

I had to leave my little doggies one night while I headed north to relax in some hot springs with my sister. I am very anxious leaving my dogs and in fact this was the first time. Karen reassured me they would be safe, fed, looked after and I felt immediately calmed. Upon returning, I could see they were well rested, happy to see me bit not rattled in any way. Talking with a few employees I found each to be a knowledgeable care taker and genuine lover of dogs. Any lingering doubt I had about 'leaving' my dogs vanished immediately. I cannot say enough great things about this place and especially the staff.

Karen's is GREAT! Their doggie daycare is amazing and training did wonders for my dog!

I have known Karen for over 20 years and she has trained and cared for every dog I have owned! She is amazing and Karen’s Animal House is an extension of this. The staff is professional. We go to obedience class, doggie day car and have used the boarding facility. All are clean and cozy. I cannot recommend them enough.

Went to check on my sister's dog that was left in a kennel for the first time after being adopted over a year ago. She was fine and having a great time. I plan to leave my cat there if I need to go somewhere I can't take her. Place was clean and all the animals looked happy and we'll cared for. Staff friendly and helpful.

We are so glad we found Karen’s Animal House to care for our cocker spaniel while we were in Las Cruces! The staff are amazing—friendly, helpful, and definitely animal-oriented. The facility is very nice. The fees are reasonable. We HIGHLY recommend.

We took our Beagle and Boxer to get their nails done. The Staff were super friendly, our dogs were in and out in the blink of an eye!

Karen is the best trainer in town

We love Karen's Animal House for all of our doggie needs from grooming, to training, to continue day care. The staff is great and my dogs can't wait to see the staff everyone we go.

I like being able to take my shepherd here for boarding, daycare, training classes, and grooming needs. They do everything here, they have a really friendly staff that have a genuine care for all animals.

I've done obedience classes and doggie daycare here. There classes are very thorough and as long as you put in some kind of work outside of class as well, your dog will come out of there more well behaved. Doggie daycare is great here too. If u take them on Tuesdays they'll get there nails trimmed for free as well. ????

Completely heart broken as I picked up my dog from Karen’s Animal House. I dropped off a healthy and happy 149 lbs Mastiff, 8 days later I picked up a lethargic, dehydrated 119 lbs very ill dog that could barely walk due to a swollen paw/leg. We had to rush him to the emergency vet. It was determined that he had an infected paw, a temperature close to 105 degrees and severely dehydrated. My husband did receive a call from Karen the day before we were to pick him up, she said that she thought he had a spider bite and his paw was swollen. She said he was able to stand, eat, and drink. We did opt for him not to go the vet at that time based on the information she gave us. I was in tears when I saw him, if I would have known the severity of his injury I would have authorized the vet visit. The story didn’t make sense to me, how could he have lost that much weight in 24 hours, therefore I called the owner to clarify the story so I could share with the vet so we can get him better. I was not able to reach her till two days later. She did clarify the time line for me and said he had been eating and drinking until the last few days. I was very polite and told her I would call her back once we determine the cause of the I injury so perhaps she could prevent this in the future. Our follow up visit with the vet revealed a possible snake or small dog bite. When I shared with Karen, she got nasty with me and said this did not occur in her facility. I know I dropped off a healthy dog, in fact he had just had a visit to the vet prior to me dropping him off. I asked her why she was being nasty and she said she has to defend her lively Hood. I understand that accidents happen and I should have made a better decision and authorize a Vet visit. Not once did I ask her to pay his vet bills nor did I say anything derogatory about her business on line or social media, but her reaction was uncaring and rude. If you care about your pet as I do, I do not recommend this facility.

Anne is the best groomer ever. I have a wire haired mutt that requires a very experienced groomer. Anne is our lady. Not to mention my dog is extremely leery of strangers. She is super patient with him and he always look great when she gets done stripping out his coat. He cannot be clipped because of his wire hair so she spends hours hand stripping his dead wire hair. She is the best!!

Every time I picked up my dogs and got them home they were hovering over their food bowls begging to be fed. Their stomachs where empty and they were starving! Plus the the one old woman was so crazy rude she was over the top! Never will go back. The young kids working there are great but the old woman there is a mad dog!

We have used the daycare services for our fur babies, and obedience classes. Karen is AMAZING! We never thought our Maximus would get over his aggressiveness and boy he has turned out to be our gentle giant. We have helped care for 8 day old puppies and he has been so gentle with them. We have 1 large cat, 2 labradors, Maximus our husky malamute and a chi-poo (his BFF @8 lbs)and a chihuahua (@4 lbs, play dates)and a healer (play dates). He is gentle and obedient. I can't praise Karen and her staff enough for helping us with Maximus. All I can say is the expiernce was wonderful and worked miracles for our aggressive boy.thay us now know as the "gentle giant."

My Doberman has been in training classes at Karen's Animla House for about 6 months now. We have done beginning rally, beginning obedience, and now we are in the intermediate obedience course, also completeing the Urban CGC over the Summer. I am very please with Karen as a trainer, she has helped my boy so much, and she has also built me confidence as a handler. She is extremely knowledgeable and I have seen her completely change problem dogs into well mannered pets in the matter of a month or less. My boy is now much less jumpy, much more consistent, and more focused. Professional, polite, and intelligent, Karen is a great trainer with a lot of experience. We will be continuing with more classes!

Best trainer in the area. Trained with Karen with two of my dogs twelve years apart and she is amazing. Facility is great with a huge indoor area and outdoor grass area used depending on the weather. I highly recommend Karen

Love this place Karen is amazing and so is the staff. I took my pup because what I was doing just was not working. I almost got rid of him. Thanks to Karen and her team, my family and I enjoy bullet all the time. He was a different dog after 1st day in class. I am so thankful and great full for all that she has helped me out with.
