The staff and veterinarian took great care of my old tom cat who was all blocked up in his urinary tract. The cost of the appointment was expensive, but emergency care always is, and the bill could have been so much worse. I'm glad my sweet boy is able to go potty again, and thankful for the veterinarian who took the time to explain what I needed to change in my cat's life to ensure there would not have to be a repeat visit (I was advised to switch his diet to a urinary care diet for cats, and highly recommend this long term change to anyone with a tom cat). It's worth the slight extra cost in food to avoid a hefty vet bill and potentially having your cat die. I really appreciate the concern and compassion this vet has for the animals he works to save.

The Vet is quite a character, but he's good and honest. He always gives you the most affordable and less invasive option first. I also love that he values pet nutrition. I rather have a good old honest vet than a charismatic one that tries to nickel and dime you.

I did my 500 volunteer hours when I became a vet tech with Dr. Wentworth and I enjoyed it very much. I got to experience quality care and he doesn’t try to break the bank.

Dr. Jim is very conscientious about his humans safety in regards to the spread of COVID and of course in the care of their animals. He has been Dr. to many of my animals over the years and I keep going back.

Always a great visit with the Dr and his staff. Our family has taken all of our dogs here.

This was the first time brining my cat in. I didn't have an appointment but was seen quickly. He does ask a lot of questions but he wants to get at the root of your pets needs. I didn't mind at all. Some reviews stated he is rude. This is not what I found. All staff and Dr are kind and professional. My pet was taken care of and I was on my way. Very affordable as well. This place will be my vet from now on.

I have been back in El Paso Texas since 2004 every animal Dogs // Cats, he's treated every animal since then belonging to my household.

Hands down one of the best vets in the city. Took less than 20 minutes to vaccinate 3 dogs, in and out hassle free. If you’re looking for a vet don’t look any further. We will be changing all our dogs needs to here.

Place is very busy on Saturday mornings but worth it. Just be ready to fight for parking.

I took my baby Chihuahua to get cremated and the staff was just great. They were sensitive to my loss and my needs. The receptionist Terry is so pleasant. Great service. It was my first time here and I will be back for other services.

I happened to catch them right before lunch, bcuz my dog couldn't walk anymore and was just told that she'd had a stroke but to just give her a steroid and watch her over the next few days. I didn't listen and went to another vet, where we found out that yes she did have a stroke, but it was due to a cancerous lump and that she wouldn't survive the night. Had to put her to sleep right then. If EPVH, weren't so concerned about being their lunch, she wouldn't have suffered through another painful night.

Very lovely. Doc is extremely thorough and kind. Took both cats and a dog here. They all had a grand experience.
