Zarges Animal Clinic El Paso, New Mexico

Very friendly and treated my dog with great care.

We called as our regular veterinarian was out of town, and they took us immediately as our dog was having trouble with an eye. The entire staff was very concerned and helpful. Dr. Zagres was amazing and Barkley is already better. We were so impressed by their care, we are we are thinking of moving our other animals to Dr. Zarges for their care.

Never been to this vet but I can tell you she goes above & beyond because I had to put down one of my horses (34yr old mare) due to age and I couldn't find any other vet to give me the time of day (probably because I wasn't one of their established clients AND it was the day before Christmas Eve 2021) but Dr Zarges took it upon herself to DRIVE to our farm after she free'd herself up to follow-up with me because the receptionist apparently wrote down my phone # incorrectly and the Dr wasn't able to reach me telephonically. Unfortunately my mare passed away shortly after my phone call in the morning but I was very moved by Dr Zarges' attempt to contact me in order to share her expertise/service for my old mare. Dr Zarges, if you read this - "Thank You" again for sharing the same love towards animals as we do.

I'm writing this review to let Everyone know this is a wonderful animal clinic. We bring Our dogs here. We know they're in the Best Care. We had Our loving cat put to sleep, due to health problems several years back. My Mom and I cried in the room, they respected and allowed us to grieve. They weren't in no means ready to dismiss us. We've been going to Dr. Zarges since I was young with our pets. Dr. Zarges has retired and her daughter's taken over her practice. She's the most caring, down to earth person, you'll ever meet. Her staff are also just as caring and loving as Dr. Zarges. These people are genuine, with Good hearts. They welcome you and your pet(s) with open arms and make you feel right at home. I appreciate them so Much I made each staff member and Dr. Zarges Halloween candy bags, and look forward to doing something for them for Christmas!???? ♥️ ???? ???? Rose P.

This clinic basically killed my kittens. I took them for an examination, but all the staff did was take pictures with them, and didn’t give them the treatment they needed. Everyone in this clinic is a disgrace, and this business should be closed down.

An amazing experience at a time most places are overwhelmed or uninterested in customer service. The staff and doctor were great, transparent, and very clear. I would highly recommend. ---I brought my daughter's cat with short notice.

Love this place! The people are awesome & Dr. Kristi & Sue are top- notch, the best! I've been coming here for over 30 years, & they've taken care of all of my animal fam. Cats, dogs, a bunny, & sum hedgehogs... 25+ pets over the years! Thanks SO much for all the care concern, & compassion you've given our family through it all. I couldn't get into a single vet's office in Las Cruces back in April 2021. Many were booked out til July. I called Zarges and they were able to get me in very quickly. The staff is amazing–professional and kind. My cat, Ham loves Zarges! Best vet's office in my experience.

Zarges Animal Clinic is, hands down, the best veterinarian clinic I have ever been to. My dogs recently got into the trash (that specifically had a lid to keep them out) and one of them had a major blockage, and Dr. Zarges treated him. We were worried he was going to need surgery, but she used IV fluids and medication to help him safely pass the objects. He was there for two and a half days, and everytime I received an update, Dr. Zarges herself called me and kept me informed. She even had one of her techs send me a video of him while he was there, and everytime I called or went in, every single member of the staff I interacted with was kind, responsive, and informative. They took GREAT care of my dogs. I am sad I'm moving, because it's not easy to find such a great veterinarian with a great staff. If you're looking for a new vet, I highly recommend Dr. Zarges. Also, after multiple x-rays (for both dogs), IV fluids, overnight stays, prescription food, and medications, the bill was quite a bit less than I expected it to be! They are priced very fairly.

I actually switched to Zarges from Crossroads. Nothing personal against Crossroads, but the wait time is less.

It's awesome they could schedule an appointment to spay/neuter my strays (now pets) in a relatively short time span (1-2 weeks). The cost was around $400 for each cat (though we also included other services in it). One thing to take into consideration is that for females, they must remain inside with you around 14 days (which can get a bit hectic if the cat is stray and wants to be out). It can happen that they ask you to arrive at, say, 7:30 am and they may not answer the phone until 8:00 am (because we can't access the building due to the pandemic we must call) but we never had any problems after that. Just a heads-up, don't hesitate to ask for more in depth information; for example, we got our pet's x-rays in DVD/Disc form and don't really have where to play that. Another thing is I believe they don't have walk-ins available. All in all, it was a place of great help when we needed it and the people there are very nice.

After coming to this clinic for my pups(6wks) first shots and so what I thought Dewormed. they contracted parvovirus. The puppies have been super healthy and have never been outside before getting any shots or even after( didn't want to risk illness) when I called to schedule I asked for pricing on 1st vaccines and deworming, they told me the total price and that is what I paid however I reviewed the receipt and it does not say they were dewormed. I have now found worms in my pups stool. So now we have pups with parvo AND worms !!! Thanks a lot Zarges. If you want to possibly save your pets life DO NOT come to this so called "clinic". I went elsewhere to get my pup treated after realizing the place that they probably got the virus from was from the clinic. I was not gonna give them a penny more for possibly killing my 4 pups. The poorest communication skills :) also see the negative Yelp reviews from other people !

They are amazing with my 2 babies. They are kind, very friendly, and good at communicating everything to me of what they're doing, explaining anything that me and husband has questions about, and good with working with making appointments and looking thoroughly on my babies to make sure that nothing is missed that might be a problem. I could have never had a better place to take my babies to get the best care ever. Highly highly recommended that anyone that has pets to bring them here

When we opted to get our dog neutered, and other clinics in the area were booked out for months in advance, Zarges was able to get him in within a couple of weeks. The drop off, pickup, and post-surgery follow-up went very smoothly. Thank you to the professional, caring and efficient staff at Zarges!

Great work! Their xray prices are cheaper than alot of other clinics, staff is very nice and explain everything out if you have questions.

Caring and good medical service

The staff was very compassionate. They explained the procedure and the process my dog would have. They were very informational about the services they provide and what i was to expect. I had to put my dog down cause she wasn't in good health. The staff and vet the were caring about my emotional state and were very supportive. I recommend this place because the vet took the time to explain to me everything that would happen. She answered my questions. Afterwards she thought I had left, but she saw I was there and came to speak to me about my pet. I was sad to have to put my pet down and she understood how hard a decision it was, but she let me know that our pets are like family and no matter if it is your fist time or 5th time you still feel there loss of your pet greatly. The office and rooms were very clean, the staff was kind and considerate. Thank you for the kindness you and your staff were to me. I greatly appreciate it.

I took my baby Lola on an emergency and the staff was incredibly friendly and sympathetic. I had to make the decision to let go of my fur baby and I was treated so nice by everyone there. The doctor was kind and let us be in the room to say goodbye. Thank you everyone that helped through such a hard time.

Make appointment, call when you arrive. Your pup picked up outside. People very nice, and caring.❤ You can go in if necessary.????

The staff here are all so nice and gentle to my dogs. If you have questions, ask them. They are more than willing to explain everything and answer all of your questions.

Zarges is a trusted and knowledgeable clinic. The doctor has taken care of my Doberman pup. Rex is very happy when he goes to the vet.

Great service. Dog is alive

Dr. Kristi and staff are amazing. I have been with Dr. Kristi for years as my horses Vet. We have had emergency in the past and she was there in an hour and taking care of my horse. We have also have been using her for my two lab puppies. One puppy had stomach issues due to giardia. She kept on her until she was healed, giardia is very hard to get rid of. The staff was very helpful and very caring for my puppy. Even her sub vet Dr. Simpson are very helpful on treating my puppy. Hands down one of the best vet clinic in El Paso.
