Spa For Paws El Paso, New Mexico

Tried to bring my dog to Spa for Paws multiple times for multi day stays, with poor results. My dog came back covered in urine and extremely anxious/stressed out. The second time this happened they said he was really nervous and wasn't eating and smelled so bad of urine we decided to never take him to this horrible boarding place ever again. Not sure why they never felt the need to notify me that he was not eating until after the multi-day say, seems like something that you would want an owner to know about as it happens. Honestly save your money by going to ANY other Boarding facility.

Not only is the grooming staff amazing, the prices are competitive too! Check out the daycare pix on TikTok - dogs are having a BLAST! Plus this place is exceedingly rescue friendly and does So much to support rescue animals in the vicinity. Hundreds upon hundreds of dogs have loving homes all over the USA based on the efforts of this amazing facility!

Wonderful job! It's hard for pet stylists to get what my mom wants in a cut but you all got exactly what she wanted! We've been bouncing from groomer to groomer to find the perfect match. I think we found it here. We'll definitely keep coming here from now on.

Never again will we leave our boys here. The first time we left them a couple of years ago, our oldest came home with a red lump on his stomach. We looked over that and gave them the benefit of a doubt. This time they both came home looking like they had been abused. Raw and red places on their cheeks and lips as if the employees put some type of muzzle on them or something abrasive. The bruises did not come from them playing together since they wrestle and play together constantly at home and have never bruised each other. We picked them back up on the 30th and they both now have kennel cough, which means that the surgery that our oldest was to have Monday, and has been waiting two months for, will have to be pushed off for maybe another couple of months if they have a spot open. When we took them there, we tried to leave our own food and water bowls and toys for them to use and were told that we could not because the kennel has their own (not sure how sanitized they are since many, many other dogs have used them). My wife asked if she would be able to call to check on them and was told "I don't know because we will be really busy". That's not very good customer service. She tried calling later that afternoon 6 times, the first time someone picked up the phone and hung it right up, the next 5 times she did not get an answer. Now my wife is afraid to leave them with any kennel period. I do not recommend this kennel unless you just have nowhere else to take your pets.

This is the only place I will trust with my two pups. One of my dogs doesn’t board well and I always leave knowing she’s in capable hands. I appreciate that they check my dogs vaccine records EVERY time I bring them and don’t skip over that like some other places. Thank you to all of the employees for taking care of my pups!

I used to love this place and took my animals to them for decades. Unfortunately the new owners are not nearly as professional and considerate. When I complained that I had been uninformed about which shots were required prior to drop off, the person behind the desk became verbally abusive and followed me out the door screaming obscenities at me. There are other places than this one to take your animals and I would suggest that you go elsewhere. They are no longer reliable or trustworthy.

Nice place, friendly staff. They do a great job on your fur babies on baths and nail clipping. They don't groom cats anymore ????

Initially (Two years ago), I was impressed with their service. They were cost efficient and customer service was impeccable! I boarded my dog with them a few times for two years. Lately they have been very unreliable and have very poor costumer service; - This is the second time they "lose my dog's toys and belongings". When I asked them about it, they simply say they lost it! They never tried to replace the items or give us a discount/credit. What really aggravates me is the way they seem so unbothered about it. - My dog was returned twice with feces hanging on him! He smelled terrible and his fur was extremely dirty. I always give him a haircut and a bath before i board him and yet he was filthy when i picked him up. He was only boarded for 6 days! - Charged me for "potty dog service" but when i picked him up my dog had to potty (poop) three times in a period of one hour which is unusual to him. - Customer Service was terrible. They are simply rude! received a phone call about modifying my reservation request and they wanted to tell me about my dog's habits as if i don't know my dog. - They told us they can't board our 8lbs dog because he only lets two people handle him. So my question is how do the others treat him? and why does my dog not allow them to touch him? Was he mistreated by the others? - In their eyes, it is always the customer's fault and never theirs. This will be proved by the way they respond to this post! I have read their replies to other customers and they do not own up to their mistakes and blame the customer. Again, Simple rude and unreliable. I have more complaints but don't want to waste any more energy on their lack of professionalism and care for dogs. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR DOG BECAUSE THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU. ____ In response to their comment, Like i said they will always blame the customer! It is your fault my dog is fearful when under your care! He shows no signs of aggression at home, only with you. Also, i was told to bring toys and a blanket for his stay. IT IS NOT STATED IN YOUR CONTRACT TO DO OTHERWISE! I asked for him to always ve showered before pick up and you clearly ignore that. If you feel the need to keep other the toys then do so. You clearly need them! I dont expect the best from you but i do expect minimal customer service that you clearly do not provide. Your facility is abusive and that is a fact. I paid for you to take care of him and not only feed him. This is outrageous and i will proceed with a lawsuit. Maybe that will shine some light

They are the absolute best in town! Exceptional customer service for our loved for a friends and for us owners! Truly all animal lovers go above and beyond! Their staff is simply the best! ????????❤️

I love taking my miniature Schnauzer here. They have always treated very well my dog and always comes home very happy. I trust this place and couldn't have chosen a better place. Friendly costumer service.

The staff gave us a quote and was able to take our puppy for a nice quick groom. Definitely pick this place because the staff cares about both pets and owners.

I just moved to El Paso and brought my fur baby here . I am very hesitant to leave her anywhere but I’m so happy with the turnout . Everyone here seemed pretty nice and my little baby came back looking better than she has in a long time! She looks absolutely adorable ???? Thank you for making her look even cuter.

I boarded my two dogs there. One of which had been there before. They returned smelling terribly, with high fevers, not eating, and dehydrated. I took my one dog who was in really bad shape to the vet and paid $350 in medical bills and medication. They had to administer IV fluids due to her state of dehydration, and she is now on 3 medications. The manager Jorge was very nice and listened to my concerns however, the owner Julia was more abrasive in her tone like she didn’t want to deal with me. I am going to be receiving a refund for their stay ($170) because I feel like they were not taken care of and the standard of care was not up to par. I will not bring them back as they were not happy there and I am very upset with the way they came back.

The people seem nice, but unfortunately for my dog, he only lasted an hour until they called me to come pick him up.

The staff seemed very friendly and seemed to really care about the animals. Seeing our dogs pictures on Facebook everyday was nice because you got to see that they were doing well and playing with other dogs. The pricing seemed reasonable as well. I have full confidence in using them again.

I bring both of my Service Dogs here.... They love Erika. She is an amazing groomer. My dogs will only go to her ( by their choice????). She is sweet and affectionate and does an amazing job! Even with the most sensitive of dogs.

My Son/Dog was a rescue. Returned 5 times for biting people. I literally drove around the Entire city and was told that he could not be taken by every groomer I spoke to. Spa For Paws accepted him. He was also difficult with them at first but they had patience and worked with him. They were professional and told me about both his progress and his shortcomings. He is now off of their list of risky dogs and behaves Significantly better.

Our Elmo had such a great time there! He was well taken care of and will definitely be going back!

Loved it! It was our first visit and we were a little nervous because it was the first time grooming our puppy. I really thought our dog would resist but staff made her so comfortable she went with no problem. She seemed calm and happy when we picked her up. We definitely found our place!

My dogs are always excited to visit their friends at Spa for Paws! I was previously hesitant to leave my furbabies for vacation and I even limited my time away from home because I didn't know who I could trust with their care. However, Spa for Paws has alleviated that hesitancy. I trust them to take excellent care of my babies and return them healthy and happy. I also get to see them while I am gone from their daily pictures they post on FB. I always see a huge smile on their faces!

I left my 9-year old Maltese Macey for 5 days with Spa for Paws. They took very good care of her. I will be a return customer.
