Debacs Equestrian Center El Paso, New Mexico

It was my first time in El Paso and I didn't have anywhere to board my horses. By chance I found this little piece of heaven. I called and spoke with Jorge and explained to him what I needed, he welcomed me with open arms. Jorge, his staff and even the other customers came to my rescue. I feel as though I have met a friend for life. I recommend using Debac's Equestrian Center for training, boarding or just a great conversation. 5 Start outfit!

Switching from western to english saddles was a challenge for me daughter but Lili was patient and has done a wonderful job in as short period of time. Would definetly recommend!!

We were looking to transition our 7 year old granddaughter from her current trainer in east Texas because she moved to El Paso. We had tried contacting several Equestrian places but no one was more accommodating than Debacs Equestrian Center. I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner, Jorge took his time in listening to our situation and was very flexible on scheduling. The customers that we have had interactions while there reported coming to this facility for quite sometime. Seems that everyone knows each other . The times we are there all the animals well cared for. The stables were clean , there is a stable hand who lives behind the stables on the property. We have been there in the evening when the horses are fed and even provided a treat- carrots. At one time of a training session we were told that our granddaughter could not ride the horse she had been training on because he had an injury on his lip due to another horse nipping on him. We were very please that they took his injury into consideration. This meant a lot to us knowing that they at Debacs look out for the well-being of their horses. If you ever get a chance stop by and talk to Jorge and you will see how welcoming he is. On another note Jorge is a military veteran who we are very fortunate to know and support his business.

This place is outstanding! The stalls and arenas are very clean and the entire property offers a good environment for the horses. The owner is extremely courteous and provides outstanding service.He goes out of his way to take care of the horses and to make the client satisfied. I highly recommend this equestrian center for young and old.

My daughter and I love Debacs. Beautiful mountain views and a sense of peace and tranquility. Wonderful, friendly and professional family owners. The grounds are clean and well maintained. My daughter has taken lessons here for two years with very knowledgeable and caring instructors. There’s a sweet barn dog that greets you as you arrive and soon you’ll find sweet kitties coming out to play after you arrive. Many beautiful and healthy looking horses are stalled here. They are very well taken care of. Nothing but good things to say about Debacs. We love it!

I have had my horses at Debacs for a month and they already look so much more healthy, relaxed and happy. They came from a very stressful environment and I am so glad I moved them. Beto is awesome and takes great care of my horses! Following my feeding instructions to a tee! I had my horses at another farm and they never gained weight or seemed relaxed.The pens at Debacs are kept very clean and my horses are turned out regularly. Jorge has been nothing but inviting, cooperative, and so helpful. Best decision I ever made for my babies! Great place to call home!

The place is beautiful and clean. The owners are super friendly and take great care of the horses. The place always has a family-friendly environment, so I find it really easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. They also offer horse riding lessons, and the instructors are great. They are really good at teaching good horsemanship, while focusing on the safety of their students. I definitely recommend this place.

I have boarded at this stable for 25 years. The facility and location are among the many reasons to board at Debacs. The current owners go out of their way to extend kindness and consideration to their clients. They are continually making improvements to a facility that I have always considered to be one of the best in the El Paso area. As a long time boarder, I see others who are transient, going from one stable to another, burning their bridges everywhere they go. Be wary of those who use a review to punish businesses for their own shortcomings as responsible horse owners.

This place is so nice. The facilities are well taken care of and the horses are equally well taken care of. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The horse lessons are great and affordable. Ive had lessons at other places before and I can say with confidence that Debacs is by far my favorite. Ive learned so much since I've started taking lessons here. Lily knows what she's doing. Thank you!

Although the property is one of the nicest equine properties in the area, don’t be fooled. The property owner has extremely little equine experience, and there is zero qualified staff on hand to provide quality care. My horses were not fed grain I provided for over a week, and one of them coliced and died. There was no staff on hand to recognize the horse in distress, nor anyone that knew how to deal with the situation. There is zero organization and professionalism. The property owner only cares about keeping the high class wealthy customers happy by deceiving them that exceptional care is being provided. Pastures are over grazed, stalls are not properly cleaned, water buckets never scrubbed, multiple horses had been injured with zero care provided by the property. Furthermore, there are NO covid-19 precautions being taken.

After having my horse with a trainer and them pretty much not being able to touch him for about three months, it was time to make a change. I was offered a trainer here after the old trainer left and I stayed and he was riding him in a day! I am very pleased with the work and care they are putting into him. They have daily turn out and take very good care of their pastures. It is a beautiful facility worth visiting, boarding or lessons it has a round pen an arena and trails leading off the property to the river! My horse is fed every day and his stall is cleaned. The people are very friendly and welcoming and always willing to help, I would highly recommend. ♥️

This is by far my favorite place! I loved that my teacher Lily spoke both Spanish and English. I went for a week , every single day and I learned and progressed more than I had in other English riding places. She made me feel very comfortable with the horse I was riding and she helped me gain more confidence cantering and jumping. I recommend this place for every level and for any age group. The place is also very clean and very well kept. I liked that the tack room was very organized and clean. The horses are well taken care of as well. I will be traveling back in a month just to ride here again!

Lily gives out good lessons, not only teaches you on horseback but as well as horses health, equipment, etc., arena footing is nice and soft and well maintained!! the stalls are well maintained as well. The community at the barn is very warm and welcoming!! 11/10 would recommend

We love this barn! My daughter has been taking lessons from Lily for a couple years and we love her! We have had experience with multiple other horse-back-riding teachers and have never had such a great teacher. Lily has definitive and reachable goals for each student at every lesson. She pushes her students to try new things and reach their potential in a very safe and caring environment. The horses are well-trained and well taken care of. I highly recommend Lily and this barn.

I have been taking lessons from Lily since the 2017-2018 school year started and have loved it! She is very talented and experienced and knows exactly what she is doing. Lily teaches in a way that we can learn how to be good riders but also how to take good care of the horses. The stalls are nicely kept and the horses are very well taken care of.

Very nice owners-clean with large stalls

We have been taking lessons at DEBACS for almost 2 years and also board our horse there. The owners are fantastic--very helpful and knowledgeable, take great care of the animals and provide a fun, family-friendly horse environment. We're new to the world of horse ownership, and they have been a huge help along the way!

While this facility was beautiful the experience was a nightmare. Highly recommend considering elsewhere. There is not enough horse experience or monitoring of hay quality/horses well-being to be a viable option to anyone concerned for their horses health.
