My dogs always come out so energetic, happy and clean. I love to take my dogs to this place whenever they need a bath and a trim. Thank you so much for taking good care of my dogs!

Superb service. Adheres to COVID 19 guidelines. (Doorbell and phone number to call when you arrive at door) You can call ahead to make appointment or drop by. I brought by doggie looking like a tramp, and he came out looking like a prince. :) Groomer takes time to ask important questions before taking the dog back. Fair price.

It’s been 3 years since I have been bringing my Chloe to Scrappy. Love the place, the girls are very nice and treat my Chloe nicely. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my dog, Gizmo, here for a few years now. I had problems with the old management and was reluctant to go back once they had changed but I’m glad I gave them a chance. I have never had an issue with these ladies. I like that they remember Gizmo and know how to deal with him as he is very reactive when it comes to water. Gizmo always comes back from the groomers very happy and smelling very good for weeks! I definitely recommend bringing your furry friends here and giving them a chance to get to know them so that they can give you the service your pet needs!

Today I went in as a walk in and they attended my dog immediately! Very good customer service and very safe! Loved the way my standard poodle looked after his hair cut and he smells amazing!! Recommend 100%????

Took my 2 babies here for the first time and I am 100% satisfied with the service, they are super friendly, they did great grooming my dogs . Definitely recommend

Hands down the best work in town. I drive from the westside once a month just to take my dog there. The quality of service is top notch and my dog is always happy at the end of the service.

The business is under new management, the owner is such a great women very great to work with! With that being said she has another women working with her and she is the WORST! Super rude and very unprofessional! They are currently taking cash only, so before picking up my dog I asked for the amount so I could take cash out. When I arrived she had changed the price to 41.12 when originally she had confirmed it to be 37.00. I had brought 40 and explained how she had told me X amount and so I was missing the 1.12, I had to drive back to my bank to get the missing cash.

I use this place every time we come into town. The service is always great and not to mention the quality of work is fenomenal. I would recommend this place to anyone.

If you expect that you’re dog will be ready in a couple of hours, think twice. I took my dog at 9:45am she was ready after 5, a whole day thing. Service what service it’s just terrible, sorry but will be the last time I ever take my furry family members there, and believe me am telling all my friends

I highly recommend this pet grooming, very attentive and professional every time i take my dog, absolutely the best grooming around the area, you people should try it out and once tried it, you will not be tempted to try another grooming, ask for Alejandra she knows what she is doing !! ????????

I’ve never taken my dogs here personally but I have taken to another business I know these owners have called Mah grooming in horizon and edgemere I think! Don’t trust these people they are horrible and rude to customers! I’ve been a loyal customer for about 2 years now at their horizon location and still got attitude from the cocky/greedy owner!! They have no problem being rude to customers and who knows how they treat our animals behind closed doors!

Saw what a customer had to go through on facebook, this is simply unacceptable, disgusting and should never be tolerated. Don't give your business to this place, who obviously care more about their money than the pets they're supposed to care for.

Scrappy's has always treated me and my 2 dogs very well. They do such a great job and their pricing is great.

I cant believe this place is still operating business. This place does not care for your pet. They hurt our fur friends and deny it when it's even proven. This place deserves a minus 10 stars.

I took my Gsd mix here and I wish they would've brushed him out more after his bath, but other than that I'm satisfied. Buddy had his nailed clipped, was happy, clean and smelled good. So, I'll be back.

Should have trusted reviews. I gave them benefit of the doubt and tried them out. Our dog was dropped off at 9am, no other dogs there. It was 11:45 and she still hadn’t been seen. When we called to check up on our pet we were told groomer had not shown up. Picked up our pet and taking business elsewhere. Unfortunate since this is in our neighborhood and we wanted to support local small businesses.

Terrible place. They injure your pets then lie about it. Place should be shut down and All Employees Fired!

Hello fur-ends. So I want to talk about my experience working @scrappyspetsalon. I was not going to post anything public because I just wanted it to be behind me. Jerry Gutierrez is the owner. When I first met him he was very sweet and generous. He came off as a trust worthy honorable guy. He even gave me an advance when I was only there for two weeks. He needed a groomer ASAP seeing as all of his previous staff were laid off/quit. I was the only one there for months. However, slowly I began to realize what kind of person he really is. I was overworked without getting paid overtime. Sometimes I'd stay at the salon past 10p.m even 11p.m (Tuesday-Saturday). He would lie to customers and tell them I have 7 years experience. He would tell customers to go in at inconvenient times to get work done even though I was booked for the day. Keep in mind I had to bath and groom each client. When I told him I couldn't take them in he would still tell the customer I could which would leave tension with the customer who would come in and have to wait longer than expected. He didn't have the right grooming equipment to make scrappy's a "premier salon" as he claims it to be. He still doesn't. Neither did he have the proper permits to have that salon open in the first place which I later found out after I left. He would always promise things and never deliver. His "daycare" and "kennel" service is your pup cramped in a cheap kennel and getting little to no exercise. He once told me in front of two other employees that he already did all the hard work because he put in the money. I would also have to remind him to pay the electric and water bills after they’d be turned off. One time I had to reschedule appointments because he didn't pay the rent. He blamed it on River Oaks. He never thinks he's at fault. I left after a bounced check he continually blamed on my bank that I have been using for years. It wasn’t until I said that I would refuse to work until I got paid for the weeks previous that the money appeared. Without notifying me why, he blocked me from the Facebook account that I religiously updated and contributed to with photos I had taken/edited of clients. I deleted my photos from the instagram account before he blocked ne from there too. He re-uploaded them without my permission. (Some not even taken at scrappys) OVER TEXT was the conversation in which we exchanged my employment. He repeatedly avoided to meet in person and my phone calls. He has no idea what he is doing. He’s a full time nurse. He wants to put up this persona of a man that cares for your pets and their safety. He doesn't. All he cares about is getting a quick buck. He does not understand how much love, patience, and dedication it takes to take care of your pets. I really wanted to just let life deal with him. But I had to speak up when I heard he is trying to treat your pets as if they were fast food. With his "Scrappy's Express" idea. Please reconsider taking your pet there. And if he is trying to lure you in to work for him. DON'T. I'm not the first human to get miss treated and harassed by Jerry Gutierrez. I have had my share of incidences because I did not have the right grooming table and tethering spots. I know he will do and say anything to convince people he is not the problem. He has threatened me several times saying he will bad mouth my name because he knows a lot of wealthy, important people. I'm going to stand my ground. Anyone who knows/follows me knows I love what I do and will not be silenced. I'm not scared of your blackmail, Jerry Gutierrez. LEAVE THE PET INDUSTRY ALONE! PLEASE REPOST EL PASO (I tried taking this to the workforce of El Paso but because he has less than 15 employees, there is nothing they could do. Therefore this is why I am left to speak of this publicly.)
