Loved at first visit. Amazing place with amazing people working here. Personable and caring. Dr. Levinson is just the best. Over the years the clinic has gotten a lot busier and harder to book an appointment with because everyone loves them, but we will never go anywhere else.

Very nice staff and vet. They went the extra mile to work in one of my client's injured dogs on short notice and did an outstanding job on his care. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a good Veterinarian on the Westside of Albuquerque.

I can't thank Dr. Hedemann enough. My German Shepherd, Abby, got sick about 2 years ago and Dr. Hedemann went above and beyond to help us with a tumor growth that could not be operated on due to Abby's age. Dr. Hedemann prescribed medication and was able to get Abby's calcium levels to stabilize, saving her life. This dog is very important to me as she is my emotional support dog for my PTSD, which I was in the midst of dealing with at the time she got sick. She was always with me and helped me greatly. Over the years, she did decline despite the amazing care she received at this clinic. She was 12 years old when we made the decision to put her down last week. Dr. Hedemann came to the house and her team showered Abby in love, pets and scratches. Her last moments were filled with joy and love from everyone who was present and I will never forget it. Thank you so much for giving me a couple of extra years with my best friend and making our last moments together as happy as they could be in the circumstances. You and your team are truly a blessing and I can never express my gratitude for how you helped us.

My husband and I can not say enough good things about this clinic. Dr. Levenson is not only brilliant but is kind. The entire team is incredibly compassionate and went above and beyond for us during our beloved old dog's finally days. Thank you all at Southwest Veterinary!

The best place to take your pet

Very friendly.. Took care of my cat, did blood work waiting on the results. Clean office. Assistance were nice. Vet was very nice and did a regular routine exam. All in a pleasant experience.

Vet's and the veteran assistance are vary helpful and knowledgeable. clean environment and they are fairly reasonable price I would recommend this place

Very knowledgeable about hedgehogs and had wonderful communication skills. All staff interactions were nice

The receptionist was a ray of sunshine (heavy sarcasm) not helpful at all and condescending.

Called 3 days in a row to make an appointment for my dog and for my dog who seemed to have an infection was very weak finally when I got An appointment Appointmenthold of them not by them returning my call by me constantly calling I was told that they didn't have an appointment today and they would have an appointment October 1st 1st I'm glad they care enough to say that your dog doesn't matter to think that we change from a veterinary that we had had for 20 years because we were told Southwest veterinary was the greatest you tell me how you would feel If you were told there was none appointment till August till October 1st when your dog can barely walk

Not sure why, and whoever answers the phone couldn't tell me, but they won't give you any advice unless you're a client.

Been using Southwest Veterinary for 12 years and the treatment and visits are always done professionally and with care. If you're unhappy with your current vet, give Southwest Vet a try.

Dr Levinson is kind and patient and thorough.

We bring all our dogs here, the staff from admins to drs. are always very courteous and professional and they always pay attention to our concerns and really show they care about our fur babies

The quality of care and treatment my dogs have received from all of the staff here is just amazing. They really go above and beyond to help. You can tell they truly love animals and just want to help them in whatever way they can and I will never take my pets anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff for their hardwork! As long as I live in Albuqerque I will not take my dog to any other vet unless I absolutely have to. There are many vet clinics out there that are only interested in $$$ and not your pet, this clinic is not one of them. When I was convinced my only option was to put my best friend down because I couldnt afford the surgery he needed they worked with me to get down into my budget. Never heard of a vet doing that before. They really do care about your animals life. Dont think about going anywhere else if you live on the west side.

I was sent around all over town without anyone able to fix my bird’s broken leg. Exotic doctors weren’t in, they wouldn’t accept walk-ins, wouldn’t take more than 8 patients a day, etc. This clinic was able to take us in and the doctor walked out with a plan for us. Thank you, this was such a stressful experience but you guys really helped us. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Dr. Levenson, Dr. Hedemann and all the staff are amazing!! All our furbabies love coming here! From emergency surgeries, to regular checkups, they are always on top of everything and so helpful. We have had two emergency situations with our furbabies, and they were both handled with care. The veterinarians and staff did everything possible to save our babies both times. They have great follow-up procedures and always take the time to answer any and all questions we crazy fur parents throw their way. Each and every staff member really shows how much they love the animals they work with. I highly recommend them for all animal needs!

Never really cared about the pet, just the money. Not worth it, unfortunately.

This place is inexpensive and Dr. Dixon is really good! The clinic is tech savvy. You can even text the clinic number!!!

I dont know if it is ever possible for someone to love my dog more then I do, bit I promise, Dr. Levinson and the rest of the staff are the best veterinarians in Albuquerque and surrounding areas ????

I take my African Grey here for beak and tail trims. Mostly for her beak, because it's offset, but might as well get her nails trimmed up too. The staff is always so friendly and loves my baby. They say she's really nice and never bites then. The vet techs always do a great job cleaning her up! I recommend this place to everyone with exotic animals.

They do not allow humans inside at this time. A heads up at scheduling or even at the appointmentremindercall would have been courteous. We are new patients, but they seemed friendly at the parking lot handoff. We waited in the car. They were very prompt. After the visit the Vet came and spoke with us.
