This was the first time I had ever taken any of my pets to be groomed. Our groomer was Kailey and she did an AMAZING job with Lexi (Aussie/Boarder Colie mix). Lexi was a stray and she had some matting and a thick undercoat causing her to shed a lot. She has some separation anxiety that I was worried about, but I definitely felt comfortable leaving her there after meeting with Kailey. Kailey was super patient with her and her anxiety. When I picked Lexi up, she looked like a totally different doggo! She was extra soft, shiny, and trimmed up nicely! Her crazy impacted undercoat was gone. We booked another appointment two months out and plan to see Kailey again! Definitely recommend this business. Their customer service was excellent and the facility was very clean.

Lilliana always gets the best care and she's an older border collie mix with a loving but sensitive nature. She's so attached to her favorite groomer and klings to Dana like glue! They entire staff is kind and caring, will wait with your dog if you're running late.

This is the first time Tao went to Poochini. He was not groomed for 8 months since we moved from out-of-state. Dana did an incredible job of grooming Tao! She is very friendly and an excellent groomer!

Groomer David was really great with my Pomeranian, Jasper. He made sure to spend extra time with him since he gets clingy and anxious if I leave him alone, and when I picked him up he was happy and relaxed. He got a great haircut and Jasper and I are really looking forward to our next appointment with him!

Best pet grooming in town...and always busy. Schedule in advance of "eau de dog" and "eau de wet dog."

In 2016, our 14 yr old cat Cosette, suddenly fell ill. Her lips and tongue turned blue! Still in our pajama's, we leaped in the car and raced to the nearest ER vet hospital. There was one less than 2 miles from our house. We remembered seeing it....but couldn't recall exactly! I pulled in the parking lot where Poochini's was. I ran into his shop. There was no one in the front! Calm but shouting, "Where is the nearest ER vet? Our cat is dying! Where's the ER?!" A gentleman emerges from the back w/the look of concern and compassion. Calmly and w/clarity directed me to exactly where it was. I flew out of there and raced to the ER. Anyone would have done that. But few would have done this: We rushed her into the ER and they immediately took her to the back. Only moments later, this man we didn't know came inside the ER hospital. He was checking to see if we found it and how our cat was doing. Our beloved Cosette died a few hours later. His kindness and compassion brought a glimmer of light on that sorrowful day. Now, anytime I listen to La Boheme, I think of him. And THAT is a good thing. Our darling Cosette at 12 yrs old.

I think Poochini is a great place for pet grooming. They are fast, friendly & even offer walk in service.

I take my Goldendoodle here every 6 weeks and she loves it. David is great and always does such a great job! The price of the cuts are very reasonable. I highly recommend.

Groomer David is excellent with my two dogs. They always come out looking great and they really like the groomer, as well. Highly recommend for anyone needing someone to groom their dogs! We have Labradoodles with curly and wavy hair, and they look amazing every time! My dogs love the groomer, too so I know he is kind to them which is important. Also, masks are worn the entire time which is important!

After countless months of looking for a reputable grooming place and constantly coming across some real duds here in ABQ I decided to try Poochini. I honestly couldn’t be happier and highly recommend this place! The customer service was exceptional which was impressive considering it was my first visit there. Heather came out and took the time to meet/ interact with my fur baby and made sure to answer all my questions before I left. She did exceptional work on my poodle and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Used to be good and we would take our pets here all the time, but since they moved their quality of customer service and care has been terrible. They have terrible customer service over the phone, and you often can't hear because they have poor phone connection and service. Despite that each of the 3 times we called after they moved we would constantly be put on hold, and they lost our information for one of our pets! Poor organization and structure and would not use again.

Our go-to spot for grooming our pup! He loves the place as well, and comes back sparkling clean and fluffy! Definitely recommend! Btw Star was so happy that he became a pirate all of a sudden!

I was on vacation in Albuquerque and brought my 2 dogs with me. They got me in very short notice and took very good care of my dogs!
