I never had a chance to book a stall, lady on the phone put me on hold twice, I ended up going to the Spur Horse Hotel nearby, can't recommend them highly enough!!

Clean, safe stalls, bedding and water ready when I showed up. Not a cobweb to be seen in the stalling area. Felt safe and secure in the gated area. Outdoor pens with cover also available. Great place to overnight with arena to exercise right by the barns. Came in late, easy instructions, hassle free payment. Would stay anytime I’m coming through tired and ready for a break.

The person who answered the phone is extremely rude and talks to you like you are a complete idiot. She informed me that her barn is only a show barn and she only excepts show horses. She turned me away because she said I do not have show horses! She has no idea what I have for horses. I have gone one other time with in the past year and it is not a show barn at all! The outdoor stays are unsafe. There was a strong urine smell out side of the indoor stalls. The price is Absolutely ridiculous you don’t get what you pay for you are basically paying $45 for a outdoor stall that is extremely unsafe. When I got out of my truck waiting for the person to ask for my coggins and health papers she told me they were unnecessary! I should have known not to give her a second try. There are other Overnight boarding facilities close by that are hidden gems. They will treat you with the respect that you are your horses deserve. Don’t waste your time and money on this barn.

Great spot! We were passing through town and needed a place to take the horses. Everyone was so accommodating. Great location and easy to get in and out of. The rooms for rent are really nice & clean and was exactly what we needed.

Tremendous place. Love that we could stay in such a nice guest house close to our horses after a breakdown at Albuquerque. The guesthouse had every amenity we could have desired.

I do not know what the stable was like but I do know that a person I talked to was rude when I asked a simple question

If you need a layover with horses, the barn is clean, water buckets spotless with new shavings. Nothing fancy, but you and your horses can get some rest. They even have 2 guest quarters you can rent. Plus its gated.

My experience here at Broken M Ranch and Horse Motel has been one of great excellence! The facility is serene! Every person there is kind, courteous and professional. I have NEVER seen barns that are as clean as these! The shaving are thick and clean, the water is always fresh. There is an amazing arena and great round pen for the horses. The barn where the hay is stored is clean and orderly. The grounds are well kept! When you stay over night, you have a choice of the Bunkhouse or Dukes place. Dukes place is cozy and the beds are amazing! The Bunkhouse is AMAZING! You can even have a pet in there with you! The bathrooms are CLEAN and stocked with personal hygiene items. I love that they have a lot of choices in snacks and soda pops! There is even cereal, bread and lots of choices for coffee or hot chocolate! The beds raise up to accommodate reading or to relax. (THEY VIBRATE AS WELL!!). The owner is a hoot! She may come across a little gruff... after all she is from Detroit! However, she is the sweetest person I have ever encountered! She is the type of person that would give the shirt off of her back to someone that needed it. She has the highest regards for standards as it comes to the cleanliness of her facility! I HIGHLY recommend Broken M Ranch to every traveler! Be kind to the people that work there. Be kind to the owner. You will always be welcome with a smile! Thanks for the greatest experience! I am sorry about the people that were not kind to you the other day. You ROCK!!!!!!!!

Called to ask a question. The woman who answered the phone was rude. She answered my question and hung up on me even though I had other questions.

Easy to get too. Plenty of room for big rigs. Stalls deeply bedded on arrival with plenty of water. Electric gate. Complete safety for your overnight. Hotels close. 12 min away or sleep in your camper or horse trailer. Wonderful experience. This place has made my list of overnight layovers .

Susan is a great host has everything there you need if you’re staying in the bunkhouse for some snacks and for breakfast there’s a few small convenience stores and a liquor store close by so you don’t have to get in your vehicle or unhook the horse trailer and she makes you feel at home and her backyard is your backyard and she doesn’t charge for dogs and welcomes them. The ONLY place to stay with horses in Albuquerque.

Very unprofessional. After an awful day of travel, we arrived around 10:30 p.m. we called to say we were there and the person who answered the phone opened the gate and told us to drive in. She then told us where to park and that was it. We had to ask if she would come outside to show us where the horses should go. When she came out she was in her bathrobe. I then asked if she wanted to see the coggins & health certificate before we unloaded the horses. At first, she said “yes”, but the said “actually, I don’t even know what that is so don’t bother.” Umm... WHAT??? She didn’t know what a coggins was? How many other horses were there without coggins & health certificates? For this reason I would NOT recommend Broken M Ranch. There was a strong animal/horse urine order even outside. The outside stalls were large, dry hard ground, clean and they had fresh water. We were told to leave hay on the ground and that it would be fed in the morning. When we left at 8:30 a.m. the hay was still on the ground where we had left it. The house we stayed in was large and extremely dusty. The beds were large and very comfortable. There was some food and several hygiene products in the bathroom. All were opened & used except for a few small body wash bars.

A great place to stop overnight and stay if you are traveling with horses. I think you have to have a reservation. The bunk houses sleep different amounts of people, we had 8 people. The barn has nice stalls and closes for the cold weather. Price is good and they don't charge for dogs.

Horse hotel and bed & breakfast. More than horses can stay at this location, I have seen goats, cows, mules, and donkeys. There is a Derby and two prairies for the horses to run, twenty-two indoor stables and eighteen out door stables. SEMITRUCK PARKING!!!!!!! For customers only. There are some ranch hands on site, but unless instructed otherwise you are responsible for your own horse or other animals. Conveniently located just off of I-25 on coors exit, or 5 miles south of I-40 on coors exit as well.

Susan was very congenial. Facilities were clean and safe. Have to drive through a bit of city traffic but once there easy to get truck and trailer in and out. We stay the night in Duke's Place which was very clean and well appointed.
