I have two labradors who are world champion shedders! Barking Bad is THE FIRST groomers who totally removed all shedding hair - this will become a every 3 or 4 month ritual! The doggies have never looked so good! Thank you BB!

This was the first place I took my baby Kitchi and even though she suffers from Anxiety she did great over there. They take such good care of her and she smells so yummy after and has such a shiny coat. As long as they will take Kitchi, I will only take her here to Barking Bad.

Hands down the best place to take your dogs for a nail cut in Albuquerque! Very nice staff, careful and professional. Highly recommended, great first experience.

Awesome! The tech wad so kind, caring and did a terrific job. I dont know if the rate was on par with other grooming services but the customer service and the finished product was certainly worth it! Love the name too!! I will recommend this place.

There are better groomers in the city. This was the worst experience I have ever had. When I picked my dog up and paid I noticed that the cut was much shorter than I’d anticipated, but I paid the fees and went on my way. Upon closer inspection in better lighting I realized that the frilly accessories were perhaps a distraction from the terribly uneven cut on her ears and face. Frankly this is the worst grooming job my dog has ever received. I called to ask if there was someone working without experience or if went wrong during the service. Yvonne was friendly and informed me that the groomer was experienced and she would put me in contact with her boss Christine. Christine called me to discuss, and I requested a partial refund, as they couldn’t put hair back they have already shaved off. I thought that a price adjustment would fair since the outcome did not warrant the $70 I spent. Christine hastily disagreed, CALLED ME STUPID and hung up on me. Rude doesn’t begin to sum this experience up. The employer should be ashamed to have such an unprofessional woman in charge of customer service.

My first time here I think I didn't really know what ot how to explain how I wanted my baby groomed. It wasn't exactly what I pictured when I picked him up. But Alex contacted me and offered to fix him how I wanted. He was very professional and understanding of the situation. I picked up my baby and I fell in love. He looks amazing!!!! And I'm so happy the staff and Alex for being very professional and understanding when I went back

Honestly great experience there my dog wasn't scared when she came out. The only thing is it took an hour longer then the guy said, but I'm not sure if it was because my dog wouldn't allow them to touch her feet cause she hates her feet to be touched, or it really took that long. Otherwise they has great customer service and really convenient openings.

Honestly, I've never been happier with a groomer before. They were patient and understanding and did exactly as requested. Above and Beyond what i was expecting.

I paid almost double what I usually do just to get it done sooner but I got excuses even before the grooming which was cut way shorter than I asked for on the body and nothing like a Bischon on the face. Hair inside her ears was left too long and outside too short and uneven. Rear was not shaved short so I’ll complete that to keep her clean. Her claws were clipped well and they gave her 2 pretty bows on her ears and she didn’t seem overly anxious when I picked her up.

brought my girl here for her first ever grooming. i picked her up looking and smelling wonderful! Sandia has been blowing her coat the last couple of weeks so i brought her in for a deshedding and they did a great job! my girl came out really happy, thank y’all for taking such great care of my baby! i’ll definitely be coming back in the future :)

I've found my kids their new "Pretty House"...they both turned out GORGEOUS.....so much hair gone, no lines from the clippers, nails, ears & eyes are wonderful....and yup, like everyone else says...they smelled great....until they rolled in the dirt, once home! Barking Bad...you guys are awesome and we'll be back again in about 6 wks!! Thank u, thank u

It had been too long since both girls had seen a groomer due to the pandemic and other circumstances beyond control, so they needed “a spa day” in the worst way. Groomers I called either weren’t taking new clients or they were booked up til at LEAST mid May. Barking Bad had an opening and let me tell you I was so pleased. They were sweet and kind to the girls Echo (border collie pit mix) and Maddie (terrier mix with hair that picks up everything) which was good because the smallest has separation anxiety. The atmosphere was overall relaxing and when I went back to pick them up I was so happy with the way they looked. There was no uneven cuts, the girls were clean and happy and smelled GREAT! I highly recommend these groomers and I also booked another appointment next month as well!

They did such a great job on my dogs! Mine are really furry and were a mess. They came out looking and smelling wonderful. Nail and sanitary trims too! Highly recommended!

Took my very dirty dogs on the same day I called for an appointment. Very good communication and my dogs looked great. My dogs are not an easy groom and when I picked them up neither was too stressed and critical mass shedding that had been going on was gone! It has been 3 weeks and they still are shedding next too nothing. Will bring my dogs back . Very nice staff

First pet owner took my fur baby here and they did amazing! Even on short notice! Definitely coming back again! ☺️
