I was 100% pleased with my most recent visit. I was so pleased with the ease of setting up the appointment, a next day drop off, and was then offered an actual appointment due to another cancellation. Great job! At drop off I mentioned that my dog and I are rarely apart and the 4 hour separation would be tough on us both. I received a call from the Dr within one hour and was able to pick her up within two hours of drop off. It was so needed as I had a very hard morning and needed my girl desperately. On pick up I was in tears from an encounter having nothing to do with Academy Pet Hospital. The tech showed such compassion to me. Really, you knocked this visit out of the park! I'll be bringing Jinx back in a month or so to do the Wellness blood work that is needed. Thank you!

Brought my little one here for a routine checkup. After some startling news from another vet, I struggled to find a clinic that could see us on such short notice, and take care of her overdue dental cleaning. The staff here was friendly, colorful, and made sure I knew my pup was in good hands! Super happy to have found this place, and excited for the incoming cleaning.

My pup had an eye bothering him the weekend we moved back to ABQ. We didnt have a vet in town yet, and we read reviews of the near by places. I am happy to have found such a caring place for my 4 legged kid. Made an appointment online so we didnt have to wait in the room, we were welcomed with treats (which got better and better by the time we met the Doctor). All staff made me us feel they cared about us, we were never one more number. He got checked out, got his medicines and even a follow up call a couple of days after. I am really pleased to have found this place.

I've always had great experiences at this pet hospital. They saved my previous cat's life and gave her (us) about 6 extra years. I look forward to many years with my new cat. I'm sure Academy Pet Hospital will help me make his life a long one as well. ✌️

They gave my friend a misdiagnosis!!! She almost put her kitty down because of that. Shame on you Academy, shame on you!

I am furious, the front desk staff I don't know her name because when I asked her she hung up on me , She initially answered and asked how she could help so I mentioned to her I wanted to schedule my dog to be spayed and how much it would be. When she found out my per would be new she hung up on me. When I called back she answered and stayed quiet. She didn't say anything she just stayed quiet for 39 minutes and then she hung up on me. I've called from a different number and she hung up on me again and when I tried to call again she answered and did the same thing she stayed quiet and said nothing. I could hear them talking about someone's birthday. This is extremely unprofessional. You should address the face of your companies employees because this service was trash. I am flabbergasted, i don't understand how it says 4.7 stars when I wouldn't even give this service half a star.

Academy Pet Hospital was great with my cat Ozzy! After calling 20 different vet hospitals and being dismissed by all of them, I finally found a place that took me seriously. Ozzy ended up having a fever so I’m very thankful to the staff at Academy Pet Hospital for taking care of my son. They were efficient and nice enough to squeeze us in to their schedule. I highly recommend this vet hospital for your fur babies!

Impossible to get on the phone and they will call you back once after 5 messages if you are lucky. Took my dog in for a limp. They charged us $500 for x-rays. It’s been 2.5 weeks of calling them everyday for results and they still haven’t even bothered checking them as they can’t find their specialist. Only comment receive was “does your dog seem okay?” If my assessment of the dog is all that’s needed then why was I charged $500. They would be considered fraudsters if it was a clinic for humans. I don’t think they care about pets at all.

Staff is friendly & professional. I trust my new furbaby with these competent people.

WOW Just... wow. This story about APH convincing a woman to euthanize her dog, taking payment for euthanization, and then NOT euthanizing the dog, losing the dog, and then asking the owner for the dog back?! So wrong in so many ways!

NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!! My friend went there because her dog wasn't feeling well they told her she should put the dog down because the dog has diabetes and the meds would cost 100$ a week. Long story short she ended up putting the dog down. The hospital never put the dog to sleep they gave the dog to the assistant!!!! And turns out the meds only costed 20$ a week not 100$! The assistant ended up losing the dog and someone found the dog and called my friend saying we have your dog she mourned this dog for 2months thinking her dog was dead!!! Please if you love your pet never go here!!

I had a very positive experience at the Academy Animal Hospital. The staff is helpful and so polite. I had to take my 15 year old black lab/mix into the clinic because of some difficulties she was having. Dr. Harris was very good with my dog and ran some tests. She stayed in contact with me and let me know exactly what was going on. I highly recommend them.

Told me they didn't do walk ins but I had an emergency and no one else would take my Dog. The doctor was willing to squeeze me in. They were very nice and took care of my Dog. Very friendly front desk. Thank you guys again. I Wish this could be my Dogs regular vet.

When mu heart was breaking the staff was kind and understood my pain. The Doc was super kind to my bulldog.

Cannot express how thankful I am for this animal hospital. Everyone has been so nice and helpful from the very beginning. I scheduled an annual exam for my cat because she had been scratching her ears, after another animal hospital turned me away, and they were really sweet on the phone. On the way to the appointment, my cat got really sick in her carrier and started foaming at the mouth. I arrived and frantically called explaining what happened and how afraid I was. I was treated with so much kindness in a moment where I was so afraid I could have passed out. The receptionist (who is amazing) took us back even though everyone else was still returning from their lunch break and cleaned out my cat’s carrier so she wouldn’t have to sit in the mess on the way home. The doctor and nurse were so, so nice and helpful. Everyone treated my cat and I so well and I am so thankful. Wish I could give this place 10 stars. Can’t recommend it enough!

Academy Pet Hospital is fabulous! They took great care of my dog that passed away recently and take great care of my new puppy!

Nothing could have made it better. We always have a great experience at Academy. They are friendly, nice and efficient.

The staff was amazing there printer was down and the girl helping us was running back and forth very helpfull. When I would have been frustrated she handled it with grace.

8:30 am appointment, 1 condensending receptionist vs 1 cranky painful old woman out of the loop. Don't mess with old women painful in the morning!!! Dont ASSUME that when you separate the appointments by drop off and not drop off we understand that the lobby is still closed! what do you expect! Good way to set the customer service experience! You have a LOT to learn kiddo! Give yourself an attitude adjustment before you come to work! That was NOT good customer service!

I just started bringing Laila to Academy Pet Hospital and we both absolutely love it here! She is never nervous when we pull into the parking lot (which she normally hates the vet) and all of the staff is so friendly, professional and accommodating. Best vet in town!

I have been very pleased with Academy Pet Hospital. I have taken my dog there now twice...once for a surgical procedure, and once for a check-up/rabies/bordetella treatment. They have been super in answering questions and following up.

A new vet for a pet emergency. Dr. Harris and all of her staff were amazing; kind, thorough, gentle and were the only ones to get our dog in after 20 calls. Would HIGHLY recommend this practice! Required a minor surgery but VERY, VERY happy with service and outcome. Thank YOU for everything you did for Lucky
