It hurts to say that we will be looking for another vet. We have been with 4 paws for awhile now and had no issues until today. First lets start off by saying it took forever to get in, which I understand and usually okay with but my dog had a hurt foot and couldn't walk on it at all. They gave us some instructions over the phone and stated if it didn't get better within three days to call back and set up an emergency appointment. The third day came she was still not walking on her back leg I called and the front desk stated they had no emergency visit to call back in the morning. So I did just that the next day came I called and they had nothing, I was a little frustrated but understood I asked if there is anything we can do for pain since my dogs appointment was still 4 days away they pretty much said no to keep her off of that leg (which we have been) and rushed me off the phone. The day of her appointment comes the doctor diagnosed my dog with a torn ligament and stated she needed surgery to fix it without taking an xray. Which am not a doctor so I just thought okay well maybe that can be diagnosed without one. I didn't feel right about the appointment so we ended up getting a second opinion and xrays turns out its not a torn ligament and she doesn't need surgery. We use to love this place and felt like they listened and cared about their animals but this experience was different we just felt like another number, felted rushed out of there with none of our questions answered.

A busy place full of animals and amazingly nice people. I interacted to some degree with 4 or 5 employees/providers and every single one of them was wearing a smile under their mask, I could just tell. My 12 year old cat was diagnosed as diabetic and while scary to hear, his vet and others showed me everything I needed to know so that I could go home confidently and take care of his new needs.

My poor little Smokey got sick and every vet and vet tech who took care of her provided such care and attention. I called multiple times to give updates and the wonderful care team asked for updates and were so happy to hear she's on the mend. They are miracle workers here and were so kind and understanding during this incredibly stressful period. I even cried multiple times and the staff were all so extremely caring and kind and understanding. Already recommending your wonderful hospital to my friendos who have fur family! Thank you all yet again ❤❤❤????????????

Kitten check up. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice waiting area and rooms. All went well and they had the knowledge on site for how to process rescues. I would recommend.

This place is the only animal hospital/veterinarian that gives me the feeling they actually WANT to help my pets. They were recently able to fit my cat in for a last minute appointment; I sincerely think they saved his life. The vet and the techs were all excited to see my cat and treated him with care. The front desk worker was also so kind and helpful. Can't say enough great about this place. Thank you for helping my pets!

My pups foster mom picked this vetinarian, and I could not be happier with them. Had my boy nuetered and he is healing beautifully. As a bonus, the medicine they gave him seemed to be flavored, did not have to trick him into eating them!

They make you and your pet feel special.

I was going to VCA for years but the cost got to be insane. 4 paws provides a high level of care and I love that they don’t have exam tables and instead get down on the floor with the pups. Makes my dogs so much more relaxed. They are amazing.

Very professional and affordable. The vet tech and doctor both were very entuned to our needs and gave us the attention needed even though their schedule was packed and they had so much going on. We appreciate the staff, the location, and all they did to get Spencer feeling like himself again.

My dog has almost does twice now due to crazy reactions from eating things she shouldn’t. Both times they brought her back from the brink. Today she’s happy and healthy.

The entire 4 Paws Pet Staff helped me overcome a situation for my 2 little kitties King & Kong! Everyone were extremely kind, so truely caring, pleasant smiles, positive attitudes, expressed sincere concerns with awesome wonderful results! In the lobby one could feel and be engulfed with an Aura of happiness & sunshine! Thier honesty knowledge, professionalism at all levels from start to finish to follow-up is exemplary one to be emulated by other facilities! They've earned my trust and we will be bringing my in-door only kitties for thier regular check'em ups in the future which I've already set up! During these hard covid times the staff went the extra extra mile with no blah blah excuses! Therefore I'll drive the extra distance to secure our family kitties future health. 4 Paws need to be recognized & commended by Albuquerque Animal dept. & NM ANIMAL Humane Rescue Society! Although, in the end I wasn't seen here. I was amazed at the level of care and customer service that they had. Four Paws went above and beyond with me. When they weren't able to get me in for an appointment in a timely manner they called other clinics and called me back with better options. This speaks for the level of care they have for the people and the pets. Thank you

They took care of my sweet boy’s cremation. They were fast and kind throughout the process. My sweet Walker came home to me in a lovely urn and I also opted to have a clipping of Walker’s fur saved in a small vial which they embellished with a letter charm “W” tied around the vial’s top.

I am very satisfied the way our furbabies are treated here. Dr. Kouloge is patient, understanding, and cares about her clients. Staff is very nice as well. The moment you walk in you feel at home. I would strongly recommended 4 Paws Hospital for your furbabies needs.

Dr. Kulage and Dr. Robertson are both so sweet and great with my dogs! They are both very knowledgeable about the dogs health and are great with them as well. The staff are sweet as well and is such a great place to bring my girls!

Four Paws is by far the most compassionate and best veterinarian service available in Albuquerque. Both Dr. Kulage and Dr. Robertson are masterful in their knowledge and expertise in caring for our fur children. It is also worthy of mention that great care is taken in creating their team of support staff that are equally as invested in the overall care, compassion, and quality of service for those being served. Wouldn't take my pets here again. Front desk staff are exceedingly rude and not at all helpful. Luke gave me incorrect information, then lied about it, and efforts to address it higher up were worthless. No professionalism whatsoever. If this is how they treat their customers, I hate to think how they treat the pets in their care.
