Small Animal Veterinary Associates PA Toms River, New Jersey

I switched to this Vet from VCA few months ago and thought they will be different! When I say different I mean more about the animals than $. I just called to make an emergency appointment and the girl that answered the phone carelessly said that they only have 2 spots for emergencies daily and they are triple booked. I asked how do you know how many emergencies you will have daily and she said that is how we operate. Me being very disappointed said, well, I think I have to look for a different Vet, all she said was "Oh good luck" and hung up the phone!!!!

The staff at SAVA is very caring and welcoming. They are happy to take time to answer any questions that you have, and always follow up as primomised. I highly recommend them.

Practice refuses to release my dog medical records delaying necessary treatment since I cannot provide the history of treatment. This adversely affects my dog health, by the way all services were paid, so no excuses.

Very friendly and professional staff and Dr Vanessa is a great...Very good with animals and explains everything. My Cat loves her ❤

Good old fashioned service with no bs

I travel an hour so Dr. Lingley can care for my dogs. She is knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Lingley obviously really cares for the animals entrusted to her care. And the office is open when you need them!

They are amazing!!! They treat every animal as if it was theirs. You also don't have to sell your first born to pay the bill. Great place, great Drs,great people........

I love the staff. My baby was almost 21, a beautiful black cat who adopted me in 1997, when I had to let her go a year and a half ago. They were incredibly compassionate and helped me through a very sad time. I’ve since been adopted by two adult cats from Ocean County Animal Shelter and I still go to TR Small Animal Hospital. They are not the least expensive, but they are the best!!

The veterinarian and assistant who examined my cat Grayce were friendly and cordial and made Grayce feel comfortable but the receptionist was very rude to me and made me feel uncomfortable, FYI, she was a middle aged lady with blond hair. Except for her presence, it was a great experience for me and more importantly, Grayce.

Dr. Lynne helped us handle a very difficult situation we had with our labradoodle with true kindness, caring and love. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I live across the street, i've been so lucky as they are the best ever. All the vets in the practice are great. Dr Denyer is amazing. Her compassion is above and beyond, only surpassed by her ability. She's incredibly sharp with diagnosis. i worked in the race horse industry for 30 years with a ton of vets and she's among the best. You can go there with confidence.
