Can't get any appointments for months

This might be fine for a quick vet shot that you need but do not come here with a serious illness. They don't call you back when you get reports done, they don't have the medication when you go to pick it up and if they do they make you wait a very long time. The few times that I've been there with the same dog it's always an issue they don't diagnose properly they don't have the right medication they don't give you the right amount of medication there's always a problem and I've given them three or four chances and they're always mess up

Depending the location they can be pretty busy and packed with a ton of patience but overall, from the multiple locations I’ve gone to, their vets are great! Staff is always really nice. And it’s so easy to make appointments and stay on top of your pets with their convenient app. I’ve never had a problem. I recommend all my family and friends to Banfield! All 3 of my pets have the awesome vet plans they offer and multiple of my friends and family have also since joined and also taken advantage of the monthly vet plans. Highly recommend.

My dog loved the tech. My only issue was they cut his nail to low and now he is in a little pain. That being said no one can touch his paw, even us without him trying to give us the back off warning. Instead of them telling us why they couldn't do his nails due to them cutting it to low they used what we said about how he is a rescue and sometimes snaps at you. No he tried to tell them it hurt and they didn't listen. So it's been two weeks and my buddy won't let anyone clip his nails at all. Thanks a lot Banfield, you took an already scared dog from his pass life and made it impossible to do his nails.

I used to work for Banfield for years and know how hospitals should run and these people do not know how to run their hospital. They never have availability for patients to be seen for in room or even drop off appointments and they never try to compromise or squeeze pets in, no matter the situation. An emergency clinic is for emergencies, not because they ( the primary care doctor for my pets, who are all on a wellness an) can't see my pets for illness for over 2 weeks. They also do not call for comprehensive exam reminders and they are unprofessional when speaking on the phone. It is a real shame considering the doctors and technicians at this office are very sweet and knowledgeable. I just think their front desk really lacks in professional etiquette and the ability to schedule appointments properly.

I have both my dogs health insurance here. Very helpful. Just gets busy and booked up quickly at times.

The docs know there stuff but the place can get crowded depending on time of drip off/pick up and there can be a lot of dogs there at once. The front desk staff is really good. The manager of the front desk is no nonsense but on top of her stuff. The goings on of PetSmart can make this place look less than ideal sometimes but Banfield themselves, at this location at least, can be trusted.

I love our Banfield in Brick, NJ. They are always great with my dogs and take the time that's needed to check them completely. I like the wellness plans they have also.

Signed up for the program for puppies. Was supposed to have my dog spayed as a part of the program. They up charge for every single thing. Told me I couldn’t take my dog unless I purchased a cone from because mine was to small. (47 dollars for plastic). Also made me pay for a shot to stop my dog from puking. My dog threw up 4 more times after the shot. Place is a rip off find a different vet.

To start, it was very difficult to obtain an appointment. We had called a few times over the course of a few weeks and our calls went unanswered. We left messages, and our messages went unreturned. I don't even want to hear Covid is the reason. Your business clearly isn't suffering because your appointments are all booked up. We were told to arrive early, which we did, only to stand around and wait for our appointment, which your team was 10 minutes late to. Why rush people in to have then stand around and wait? The initial woman who spoke to us about Leo couldn't have been bothered less if she tried. She cut us off a few times when we were conveying information to her regarding concerns we have for Leo. After she cut me off for the 3rd time, I simply stopped speaking because it's a rule I have in life where I don't waste my time with people like her. It was clear to us that she is the be all end all when it comes to knowing our pet better than we do. The doctor was very nice, but we were left very disappointed that after it was so difficult for us to get an appointment, that Leo wasn't able to get the x-rays he needed, and we were referred to Red Bank, even though this office was equipped with the technology and the tools. Again she was friendly, but we were disappointed. Lastly, and I provided this feedback in person but was told to refer to PetSmart for this - seeing as how we're for some reason unable to sit in an actual vet room but it's ok to stand around the check-in desk for the actual appointment, the music blaring above was extremely disturbing and distracting. Imagine trying to have a serious conversation with the doctor regarding a possible tumor your pet has, but you can't hear her because the music is so loud and distracting, and you aren't able to focus. Truly, overall the experience was abysmal. Why bother.

Vet and staff were all nice, but up selling was the definite priority. Vet talked about optional services, but didn't address my concerns until I had to remind her. Her response wasn't as thorough as I had hoped. I had to keep dragging advice out of her. If you have an obligation to bring a dog to a vet, and you don't really care about the animal, this place would be adequate. If you want a vet who cares enough to look at your animal, and give needed recommendations and advice to keep your animal healthy, you should go somewhere else.

So let's talk about this "hospital"- I WANT TO GIVE THEM ZERO STARS. They spayed my kitten last week. She's been quarantined in my home in a safe area for a full week as of today. I noticed her sutures and wound was open and immediately called them. They respond an hour later and tell me to send pictures.... I do. I don't hear back until 4pm (nearly 2hrs later after I have to call again) and I'm told to take her immediately to an emergency vet because they "won't take her, they close in an hour." I'm lucky enough to have a Vet Tech friend who immediately takes a look and cleans and re-closes the wound. She tells me the sutures are the issue. Then she says it's infected and when looking at my kittens medication- THEY NEVER GAVE HER AN ANTIBIOTIC! THEY ONLY GAVE HER TWO SYRINGES OF "DE-WORMER" (pyrantel pamoate --which was never what they said!! And not even close to an antibiotic!) So not only did they mistreat and refuse to help with THEIR mistake - they also LIED and didn't give my kitten the proper medication!!! They could've KILLED HER!!!! SHAME ON YOU BANFIELD.

Been taking my dog there for 8 years. Never an issue and vets are always nice. I like paying per month. Kind of like health insurance so visits and shots are free

This was the nicest and most accommodating place. My reservation didn’t go through, but the lady working the front made sure I got in that day about 10 minutes after writing down my info. The vet and vet tech (I think) were so nice. I loved everything about this place and even though I live 25 minutes away I’ll definitely come here again

My dog was dying and I met an angel of Vet , named Juan Davila. I would recommend him to you and your pets. He is awesome and really cares. He advised me on making a decision that was right for my fur baby. I am so grateful for his presence and what he did for me and my family. I went to Hamilton Bansfield many of times and only wished I would have found Dr. Davila sooner.

The Techs and The Vets were awesome at explaining everything and going over all the information and talking about possible steps to work on my dogs injury. And they set the appointment the same day when i called and were awesome on the phone AND IN PERSON... I WILL DEFINITELY WILL BE GOING BACK HERE FOR THE VET
