During covid when you were not allowed into the building with your pet, my dog was vaccinated Without my consent or knowledge, this is ILLEGAL! my dog went in for an ear infection and I was never informed of the vaccine given. I have notified the veterinary board. DO NOT TRUST THEM

Not only is this a wonderful veterinarian office to bring your pet for great care but the staff goes above & beyond their job responsibilities. Today I brought my almost 2yr old dog there who is not a fan of going to the vet & she managed to pull her way out of her harness before we got inside & ran across 4 lanes of traffic. The staff sprung into action running after her & searching for her - they did not stop till she was found. I am so thankful for the dedication & love that this staff has for our fur babies ❤️

Unfortunately, my review is not going to be as positive as I had hoped it would be. I had an appointment and was less than20 minutes late because I got lost...when I finally arrived, I apologized and explained that I was new to the area and made a wrong turn. I told them that due to a serious medical situation, I had to have a short stay in the hospital and needed my dog to get a particular shot. (I was a bit annoyed anyway because I just spent several hundred dollars two weeks prior there and specially said I needed to ensure my dog had ALL of his shots...just to find out that one was not given). In any case, I was told that my appointment was cancelled! I was desperate because I needed to board him and the shot was required. No concession that I had traveled a bit of a distance was given and said I would have to reschedule. I had driven some distance to get there and was willing to wait ...but I couldn't be guaranteed time later in the day. I am shocked that my appointment was ceremoniously cancelled for a short lateness due to getting lost. Poor customer loyalty...hence the two star rating. Probably should have been one star.

My first appointment was 8/12/2021 . I was given a fast appt. Date. Being my dog was having respiratory difficulties, they got me in as soon as they could. The staff was great, genuinely concerned and accommodating. Dr. Thomas was honest about my little boy’s condition, understanding and we discussed a plan of action to keep him comfortable. I felt comfortable with everything the office offered. I will use Bayberry Veterinary Animal Hospital for my animals. I feel they are a little gem that not everyone has heard about yet. This group of receptionists, vet techs, and doctors are the most caring, empathetic, compassionate and patient staff around. They get back to you immediately, they’re always willing to help and listen. And they take amazing care of my fur babies. I’m truly grateful for them and their amazing dispositions. Beat around, hands down.

I found a lump on my elderly dog on a Saturday. My vet was closed. I called Bayview and they asked a vet if they could see my dog who was not one of their patients. She fit me in And was able to take a fine needle aspiration. They really put my mind at ease.

We take all three of our cats to bayview animal hospital. All of the staff make sure you understand exactly what is going on with treatment. Cooter, Georgia and Tootsie I feel are very well looked after by them. They truly care about providing the very best possible care for our guys. Top notch facility, top notch staff and top notch care all add up to make us very comfortable with taking our furry family members here. Couldn't be happier!

Dr. Hopf is absolutely amazing at what she does! The techs and all other workers are fantastic too, but Dr. Hopf has been a lifesaver for us. We are first time puppy owners and we freak out about everything. They give us advice through the phone without having to take him in for testing every time something seems wrong. They are honest and they listen to every single thing. Everyone here is just so passionate and kind. Our puppy adores the staff so much and actually does not mind going to the vet. We are so happy to a found this place. Dr. Hopf is wonderful and I would recommend her to everybody.

First visit was great Dr G was great and whole staff were so good. Took good care of us and made process so smooth. They made such fuss over my Bruno. Explained everything and just were so helpful. Bruno loved them all also. So pleased and happy I started there. Took good care of my little guy!!! Great team there!!!

This place is 2nd home for my dog when we go away. It chokes me up each time I leave but I know hes in great hands and is being well taking care of. Staff is wonderful understanding and Very knowledgeable. Thank you for taking care of my dog and my cats.

Everyone is so nice and loyal to our pets and even when we had to put our pets down they were full of compassion . we love going to them I'm forever greatful to be in their care .Keep up the good work. Thank u for being part of our family. Love u all. I will pray for all vetarians and helpers for their well-being and let them. Live their lives in the fullest. Amen.

Everyone here has always been kind, friendly and helpful. The care my pet receives is wonderful and the Doctors are outstanding! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.❤️

I’ve taken my dog to Bayview few times and day before I had the worst experience with this place. My dog is 14 months old. They labeled my scared and anxious dog as an aggressive and not trained dog. They prescribed my dog sedative before he goes to vet. I took him to Adamston Vet Clinic in Brick today. What a great place, a great care and great people. Just with loving tone and cuddle they took blood from my dog and vaccinated him as well. Fees and medications are also expensive in Bayview Animal hospital.

We brought our Alaskan Malamute, who is very fury, to Bayview on Sept. 11th for a well visit and to inquire about what to do about her matted areas. Allie, our dog, is extremely anxious and does not like to be brushed at all. Dr. Day and her assistant, Burt, did not hesitate to help make her feel more comfortable. While Burt held Allie, Dr Day shaved all her matted areas and proceded to get her undercoat totally pulled through. The care they gave Allie was amazing and above and beyond the call of duty. We are so appreciative to Dr. Day and can't thank her enough for her help. Allie feels so much better! With Gratitude, The Sibilia Family and Allie too

I brought my brand new puppy in today. I called this morning and Beth was very knowledgeable and personable, the perfect girl for the job. we got in to see Dr. Stenger Today. The tech Kara was very informative helpful and Dr. Stenger was amazing and and the whole experience was so laid back and personal. I'm so glad I found you guys!

We did not have an appointment and just showed up 1st thing Monday morning. My pug/spaniel mix (SPUG) had pain in her left hind leg the night before. It is an ongoing issue that requires anti inflammatory meds. We are from Bayonne and luckily I had her med records with us. From reception to the vet tech, and Dr. Stenger they all reviewed her records with me. Dr. Stenger got on the floor to examine Juno and avoid causing more pain and stress. I cannot praise them enough how much care and compassion was given. We even updated a few needed vaccinations. If your on the fence, trust this review your pup will be treated like a king/queen.

Brought my boy in and they took phenomenal care of him! Was a bit of an emergency, and they were ready for Duke when we walked in! Thank you!

Without a doubt one of the best veterinary experiences I've ever had. Dr. Stenger is not only totally professional but also incredibly kind and compassionate. She went out of her way to make sure my little cat Toby got the best attention and treatment. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone looking for quality care for their pets.

Our dog is very anxious and scared when visiting any vet office. Bayview has been so accommodating and patient with him when we come visit. Dr. Stenger is excellent! She took the time and means necessary to make us feel very comfortable. Thank you!!!

Dr. G is an amazing vet. She goes above and beyond to make sure your pet gets what it needs, and makes sure it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Been to them multiple times with multiple pets and each time it went very well. They make sure to explain to you what everything will cost and what your different options are before moving onto treatment or anything with your animal. Been to Toms River Animal Hospital and they wanted my first born child to just examine my cat's leg (she had cancer), and were very brisk and borderline rude in a really upsetting time. Bayview handled the matter in a more much kind and considerate fashion, much more personal; it was obvious that, unlike TRAH, they actually cared about how we and the animal were feeling- to them we weren't just another person in to give them money. We ended up going to Bayview to put the cat down eventually, and have been going to them ever since. All of the staff are very kind and professional.

I love the entire staff here! They are friendly and they genuinely care about you and your fur baby!

Dr. Guglielmo and the entire staff at Bayview are the most kind and caring group I've ever dealt with whether in my previous area (North Jersey) or at the shore. They truly love the animals and it shows. They are always honest and up front about cost and their first concern is always the pet. I cannot say enough things about how sensitive they were to our needs when we had to put down our almost 12 year old lab.

Entire staff was super friendly to Fred, my 50 pound hound mix. Very easy to schedule. Appointment was kept on time. Vet tech that met with Fred was fantastic. She explained all options and there was no pressure to add extras. Vet was efficient and thorough with her exam and gentle with shots and nail trim. At check out, they provided me with an up-to-date shot record at my request. Great experience. We travel and have been to a few vets. This was a top notch experience.

I had this vet put down my beloved 14 yo dog. They were so kind, thoughtful and easy going, about the whole situation. I now bring my 2 new pups to them and our older cat. I find them fair and reasonable. More importantly, I find them educated and huge animal lovers. I am very happy here. They take their time with us, give us options and make sure we know what we need to know. I did use another local vet in town for several years and I was never happy. High priced and rushed, no explanation', little interest in my animals. When I needed "their" patient put down, the cost was obscene and insulting. Give Bayview a try. I am very glad I did.
