It was very important to find a great vet for our lovely lab Harley, who is a very special boy, who has been through a lot. We found that vet in Dr Putter, who shows a great deal of care and understanding of Harley. We have peace of mind knowing he is in good hands. The team at Spot On are great and very helpful.

Maybe it was the high expectations I had based on the reviews but I overall didn’t have the experience I wish I had. My previous vet from where I used to live would also come to get my dog from the car due to Covid during my appointment time and would have my dog back within 30-45 min depending on what was needing to be done. I never thought I would end up waiting for 2 hours for my dog to have an exam and booster shots. I am assuming my dog was placed in a cage for some time until she was ready to be seen which makes me incredibly upset knowing how scared and anxious she gets. I also would have liked to know I would be waiting in my car for two hours as I had meetings I ended up having to move around to accommodate the lack of communication. I am not here to burn Spot on Vet I am sure they are fantastic just wish it was a bit more organized after almost 24 months of Covid I feel that it should be a smoother and quicker process when someone has an appointment.

As a resident of Stamford my entire life, Spot On has been the best veterinarian option that I have worked with. Their staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and adaptable. Their prices are very competitive and I really how they present treatment plans and options for care. Their hospital took great care of my cats medical needs and their hotel has continued to provide them an extremely comfortable stay away from home when I’ve needed.

Our Ginger always has a great stay with Spot On. Our family can go away on vacations with the piece of mind that she is well taken care of, is safe and sound and is enjoying her own vacation! Would highly recommend for day and extended stays. The staff is attentive and kind and I know she’s always in good hands!

I can't say enough positive comments about Spot on Veterinary services... from responding quickly to a phone call, to making my appointment (very time sensitive) to their knowledge about a vaccine that I needed for my dog over in Europe. They went above and beyond with their services. I am happily now going on hikes with my dog over in Italy specifically because of them (my local vet was unable or unwilling to make the above appointment, even tho he knew of my timeframe and it was a severely frustrating time crunch for me as I had already purchased my ticket back with my dog and would lose that dog carrier fee) so when Spot on Vets; saw me/dog, did all the necessary paperwork with a smile... I couldn't have been happier Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This might have had high ratings, but I have had nothing but bad experiences in the few times I have been to SpotOn. It is in a state of chaos. Our first time there, It was suggested that my dog have her teeth cleaned. The doctor emailed and I replied with a question about lab results. No answer. I figured anyone can miss an email. I made an appointment. When we arrived, no appointment was in the books. They said they would do her workup for the dental cleaning. I received a text saying the cleaning would cost $400 and they needed payment immediately. ??? I was driving and did not see the text for a while. I spoke to a "manager" who assured me the communication would get better. Then came the day of the cleaning. We arrived only to be presented an estimate of $1600-1700! They claimed they emailed me two days prior. Standing right there we checked my email. There was none. My gut told me to run! If they could not get these procedural items straight, how was I going to trust them with my dog to put her under? I was told the Manager of the Hospital would call me. One week later, no call. They really do not care. It is an animal factory. Stay away or be prepared to be ripped off with little or no communication. They just want your money.

I had an appointment for my dog to be seen by Dr. Larson on 9/17. I dropped my dog off and had her back within the next hour and a half! The communication for drop off/pick up times was very smooth. I had a few questions and concerns post-appointment so I called back and the lady I spoke to at the front desk (I never got her name) was wonderfully helpful in addressing all of them. I will definitely be back regularly!

Spot On is a fabulous pet vet & hotel! I had my dog stay overnight this past weekend and everything was flawless. The drop off was effortless, communication with the staff was clear and responsive. They were also very flexible with my pick up time as well! My dog is blind, so I was worried about his special care but he did great! Yoshi was soo happy when I picked him up, which tells me he was treated so so well! I will definitely be back and already booked another stay for October! Thank you Spot On :)

Spot On is the best! We take our puppy there for almost everything. The only thing we haven't used them for is grooming and that is only because their groomer is in such high demand! Training: We put our puppy Marty in puppy academy with Janet, and we can't even believe the difference in our dog. On the first day, he wouldn't go anywhere near another person or dog he was so terrified. In his final day of puppy academy, he was able to go out on the floor for both play sessions and allowed Janet to pet him. She was so beyond patient and kind to our puppy, we decided to put him in another semester of puppy academy. It has been so amazing to see his confidence grow as a dog. Veterinary: We have spoken with each doctor at Spot On and all of them are knowledgable, professional, and kind. Our puppy unfortunately had parvo and Dr. Putter took such excellent care of him. He allowed us to call whenever we wanted while Marty was in the hospital and regularly sent us pictures and updates via text. Dr. Pickerstein is also an incredible vet who clearly cares about all of his patients. He is incredible at answering all of our questions and making sure we feel confident in the care our puppy is receiving. Spot On truly is the best. We hope to use them for years to come as our puppy grows into a wonderful dog, with the help of their team.

We boarded our dog for the first with Spot On this past weekend while we attending an out of town wedding. We dropped him off Friday and picked him up on Tuesday. He has had terrible diarrhea the entire time since his pick up - completely soiling his crate multiple times in the last 24 hours. When calling today to alert the staff, I was told to just give him a bland diet. When I asked if he had any incidents of diarrhea over the weekend, the staffer said she didn’t think so - nothing was reported. To hand off a dog that then requires around the clock care once home is concerning and stressful. Terrible experience!

Very friendly and patient staff. I was taking my friend's dog in while she was out of state, so getting all the paperwork done through emails took a little time. But the staff was patient and helpful with the process and their curbside pick up and drop off was quick and efficient, which was appreciated. Definitely would recommend!

I scheduled a grooming appointment 3 months in advance. 2 days before the appointment I got an email that I need to send an update vaccines report and they attached a list. I emailed all the updates and asked if there's anything else that they needed, the answer was: "no, you're all set for the grooming appointment". Imagine my surprise when I came to our grooming appointment @ 7am and they said that I can't have my dog groom since she didn't has flu vaccine ?!?!!!! They offer to give her flu shot for $$$$$$ and I refused. I don't understand the logic: she is NOT going to be vaccinated since it takes 2 weeks for the vaccine to work, so....why give her vaccine and take her to grooming the same day???? It doesn't make any sense unless.....all the wanted is the money for the vaccine. I didn't get my dog groomed that day ("thank you so much"). I will never go back to this place- they made their priorities loud and clear.

I’m new to the area and Spot On was recommended to me by another local veterinary hospital that didn’t have capacity to treat my dog. I am extremely pleased with the communication and service and found the rates to be absolutely reasonable. I will certainly be returning for future services for both of my dogs.

Took my dog here last Nov/ Dec 2020 for some skin and dental issue. Quoted some procedures that are overpriced for my dog’s dental issue. And for the skin issue, an overpriced medicated spray that did not even work. At all. They also did not return my dog’s medical and vaccine records to us. Followed up a couple of times and up to this day we have not gotten my dog’s records back. And on top of that, who ever answers the emails was very rude.

This was my first experience going to the vet as a new pet owner and everyone in the Spot On office was so nice and welcoming. They are still doing curbside assistance and the doctor called me right away to ask me questions about my animal and let me know they will always be around if I had any questions or concerns. Everyone I spoke to was very professional and friendly. I am happy I found a vet that not only treats the animals with kindness, but their owners as well.
