This is a reliably great place. My whole family has dogs and many of us go here. Great doctors and NOT outrageously priced; nice staff. We are in very good hands, here!

Couldn't ask for a kinder & more helpful vet! There is someone there 24/7 to answer the emergency line & to keep tabs on any pets there for any overnight length. They do their best to accommodate you & your pets' needs & go out of their way to help everyone & answer any questions. Haven't met a doctor there we haven't loved. They saved both my dog's & cat's lives when their original vets "weren't available " or would take several WEEKS to fit them in.

I had an unfortunate emergency with my cat today. My regular vet could not see me and I knew something was very wrong so I called Rockaway Animal Hospital. The girls on the phone were all very courteous and responsive. Being that I was not a patient of theirs they still worked with me and fit me in today. I know my cat and I know that he was very ill and and this vet's office got me right in and took me right away and their diagnostics were very quick and unfortunately my little man did not make it, but they were so kind, professional, sweet, understanding, and honestly I am very pleased with how they helped me through this tragic event. The Dr was so sweet and understanding and knowledgeable and everything was handled beautifully. Thank you Rockaway Animal Hospital for helping my little boy gain his wings with love and peace.

Dr. Manier is the most compassionate human who has helped our dog and cats with understanding and kindness

I really love them. Sadly, we learned about them when it was too late for our beloved kitty. I am thankful he was in caring, knowledgeable, and loving hands. Our other cats have been lucky to see 3/4 vets. You will not be disappointed with any veterinarian that you see here. They are all incredible.

Had a very good experience! My dog had an emergency eye issue and I was still able to bring him in even though they were booked up. The staff was very kind and the Owner came in to personally welcome us.

I cannot thank the doctors & staff enough for all they did for our kitten who fell very ill. The care and amount of love they gave him is unbelievable. I have never experienced this before with any Veterinary office. When our family went for 3 weeks to visit our kitten we were always welcomed with open arms and encouraged to visit. The staff is so affectionate with all the animals and make you feel a little better leaving them behind. Osiris is back home with us and we couldn’t be happier. We recommend them to anyone that needs regular well visits or emergency situations. You will be leaving your fur baby in loving hands. Our puppy ate something last week so we unfortunately had another fur baby in there care but as worried as we were we knew they would do all they could for him. Thank you 1 Million times!!! ❤️

Most genuine caring vets I have ever been to. First place I have ever been to to get help for my sick pet and never treated with more compassion, understanding, love and kindness toward my cat and myself. I was so distraught and upset when I went there about my cat being so sick and getting ready to die, but from the moment I walked in the door I was treated with so much comforting care right down from the person that opened the door for me, to the girls working at the desk, the billing department and the veterinarians and vets assistant. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and especially if you need to have your pet euthanized due to suffering and pain. I got to hold my fur baby in my arms and stare into his eyes with love and let him know it was okay as they put him to sleep. They made everything so peaceful and painless for him as well as me. They are very thorough with checkups and if your pet is sick they will help him or her. This will be the only veterinarian and hospital that I take my cats to in the future. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU WHO SERVICED MY CAT CLOUD AND I DURING SUCH A TRAUMATIC TIME FOR US.

I would really like to update and edit a review I had posted. One not so good experience shouldn't negate all the good that they do here. Dr. Maniar really is a phenomenal doctor, and has helped me multiple times in emergency situations with my frenchies. In this area there are a couple options for emergencies, but not one of those hospitals truly cares about your pet to the level that Dr. Maniar does. Pricing is beyond fair too. Just wanted to also say thank you to Dr.Maniar for taking care of my baby girl without hesitation even you knew I had posted a review prior. Appreciate all you have done for Raine and Remi.

The most caring staff i have ever seen and the prices are amazing

I recently had to let my 14 year old chocolate lab cross over the Rainbow Bridge. These workers and Vets @ Rockaway Animal Clinic are the most caring & compassionate people when it comes to our pets! I would recommend them to anyone who cares about their pets, & their pets health & well being. Our hearts ???? were broken & empty when we let our Maggie go, and the staff did everything so compassionately for her and my family to get through it.

Very clean and friendly, Vet Maniar very nice and really help my dog. Very sincere and caring. Recommend these vets. Staff very professional and helpful.

This past August we had to put our Lab of 13 years to rest due to a brain tumor she had. I never had this experience before and the Doctor and staff went way above and beyond to make us comfortable during this. I highly reccommend this animal hospital. They are extremely friendly, curtious, and go out of their way to help in every way possible.

During a time when every vet says “sorry. We are booked” Rockaway took my Bubba in without question. I called with an emergency at 4pm and they were fully booked but took him as a patient. I brought him straight in and they started caring for him as soon as I got there. I was blown away. I haven’t seen a vet in this area that cares as much for your pets as Rockaway. He was there for three nights and they called me everyday with updates. I’m honestly so relieved to have found such a vet because I’ve been looking for one for years. They are always busy. But that’s because they are fair and caring.

I went to Rockaway Animal Hospital yesterday for a second opinion. They came highly recommended by our dog's rescue and several friends. Our other vet was very dismissive about concerns I had with my senior dog's eyes. I knew there was a bigger issue. Dr. Ascot was amazing. She immediately knew what the issue was and perform the necessary tests to verify. She prescribed the proper medication and he woke up this morning a new man! I was a little nervous about what the cost would be after all of the tests, (although I would give my life for my dogs), but I was relieved to hear it was such a reasonable amount!! Thank you Dr. Ascot and all of the employees at Rockaway AH. I think we found our new practice :-)

The Vets here are extremely knowledgeable and CARING. Dr. Maniar is phenomenal!! He will return your call after-hours and weekends if needed because he truly loves his job and the animals he cares for. It's a top knotch organization. The office staff are always professional and courteous. Your pet will definitely be taken well care of if you bring them here.

This place is the best. They care and you can feel it. They don't rip you for billing, I'd say it very fair. I am taking all my pets here moving forward.

We got our puppy in June & automatically went to Rockaway Animal hospital. We’ve had nothing but awesome experiences. Dr. Maniar is extremely friendly & very helpful in every aspect. They are available any time day or night & show nothing but compassion for not only the animals but also the owners. Even the vet techs & secretaries are helpful, very nice & well mannered. We can not recommend this office enough for pet owners!!!
